Chapter 5-my whores.

"Let's play Marco Polo! Rose you're it" josh states while swimming away from me almost kicking me.

I look at jake and Damian who are starring at josh already across the pool from us

"okay I'll be it" ha loser they don't know how great I am at this game. I'm so good I can do this in my sleep.

They don't know what's coming

"Give us 1 minute to swim away" jake tells me and I just nod and close my eyes.

"Marco" I yell cupping my mouth. I wonder if anyone will play mermaid with me.

"Can we play mermaid" I question keeping my eyes closed. it'll be so much fun.

I'm a fast swimmer I'll win any game. Oh maybe we can all buy mermaid tails!

Well at least josh will. That's why he's my favorite. Joking I love them all just at different times one is always better.

Usually it's Damian. He's just so kind to me. Everyone needs a bestie like him.

I hear them all come from one direction.

one direction oh I love them especially Harry fricken styles. He doesn't know it yet but me and him are dating.

3 years strong going on 4.

I swim towards the direction I had heard them then again yell "Marco" only to hear the same 'polos' being yelled from what I've gathered across the pool.

I walk/run as fast as I can but due to me being in water it feels like I'm going at a snails pace. I hurry to catch them before, only struggling a bit.

Ha idiots.

When I'm certain they're right in front of me, I pounce.

I collide with the side of the pool and immediately Freeze. It's a strong painful feeling as a rub my waist and bite my lip. I try to remind myself that I'm hulk and I can easily take the pain but the more I rub it, the more it hurts.

I think i broke my rib cage.

"Open your eyes" josh snickers from around me. I feel my nose twitch and slowly open my eyes back up.

I look around and the frickers are out the pool.

No wonder I didn't catch them.

This is infuriating.

"You did this to me." I point a finger at each of them letting them know I'll never forget this.

"Cheaters. y'all lost, I won now make me a cake." I demand.

I hear laughter coming from all three. Josh is even on the floor bent over laughing. This isn't even that funny.

I'm going to punch them all.

"Rosaline I'm so-so-sorry but that's too funny" jake shouts laughing between the so's . His face is funny but you don't see me cackling.

"I'm upset" I state clearly furious as I walk out the pool in my cute purple bikini.

The idiot comes up behind me and hugs me while still laughing so without thinking, I turn around and punch him.

"Did that hurt?" I question

He just laughs and shakes his head no. I make my way to jake and punch him as well. He has the same reaction, So does josh if you're wondering.

They're lucky I didn't use all my hulk muscle.I can really do some damage if I wanted.

"I'm going inside to change feel free to cry from the pain I just inflicted on all of you" I tell them stomping my feet inside. They refused to play mermaids with me then cheated in our game and I am just not a happy camper.

Humming to the song as it was I make my way to the shower with my extra clothes I brought.

My short shower comes to a halt when I hear the door slowly open. Do they not know what privacy is? I'll teach them with my fist.

"Excuse me I'm trying to finish my shower I told you I would be quick" who do they think they are interrupting my concert/dramatic acting while it's 'raining' time?

"The other two fuckers wouldn't come in here and they're looking for me"Damian tells me.

"Why couldn't you hide somewhere else" I ask feeling shy/embarrassed. I'm naked he's hot.

Who wouldn't be a bit shy.

"They won't come in here" he deadpans.

"Wait why are you hid- never mind just hand me a towel please" I mumble still a bit curious as to why he's hiding.

"Here" he grumbles handing me the towel through the space between the shower door and wall. Slick.

I squeeze my hair a little then wrap the towel around me and come out.

"Why are you still here you creep. Are you trying to look at my hot bod?" I tease holding back a good cackle. He does nothing but stare at me so I give him a good wink then glare at him.

"Fuck" why is he cursing? I just asked a simple question.

Maybe he's jelly he can't wink like me. All you have to do is open your mouth widely and close one eye while turning your head to the side and repeat. Not that hard.

He says nothing while starring at me drying my hair then randomly sucks in breath and practically run out the bathroom.

Well ok then.

He's missing out.

I hurry and lock the door before anyone else comes in and change then wrap another towel around my hair ready to walk out and face the whores.

I walk into the living room and look around for all my b words. My eyebrows furrow when I only see two of them so I go on a short scavenger hunt to find Damian.

"Where's the idiot" I question after doing my best to find him.

"he's at work now" josh oh so sweetly informs me.

I pause for a second. I didn't even know the idiot had a job. Where does he work? A local McDonald'? That would be the dream job. Frys everyday.

I once worked at an ice cream shop. I was the best worker there I bet they still miss my wonderful customer service. I scooped the ice cream like a boss.

I miss that job. I ate all the ice cream whenever I wanted. It was amazing.

I look at jake, scrunching my eyebrows together "Where does he work?"

He looks to josh

"We work at the local police station. The detective department" he explains.

"Oh my gosh y'all are cops!" I squeal.

I can rob an ice cream store now that I, Rosalind Emerson know cops.'we're besties too.

"Detectives. Damian's our sergeant" jake informs me.

I hum and take a seat on the sofa right next to josh.

"Wait how old are you?" I question. They can't be that old they look young.

"Me and josh are 22 and Damian is 23" Jake oh so sweetly informs me.

isn't this cool.

I bet I can join.

I've watched criminal minds and Lucifer. I'll be so good at this.

"Well I'm a smart cookie so if you need any more recruits I would be so happy to join" I tell them dragging the e's in need.

"I am a very skilled little person I can sneak around, knock people out with one punch, Im a professional boxer,actress,singer and spy"

I think a bit before adding one more "oh and I have a black belt in karate"

Of course I'm lying but they'll never know. After I tell them this I throw my head back and laugh at myself.

I can easily teach myself to do all these things so I'll be fine.

"I bet you would help us with all the work especially with all your skills" josh pauses using air quotes on skills like if I'm lying pshh as if.

"but my lovely bestie we can't just give you a job" he explains.

"you should seduce the boss I bet he'll say yes" he says and adds a wink

Oh heck yea I will! No one can resist me.

this is inappropriate."josh as much as this idea sounds great one, I can't even seduce a blind man he would hear my voice and run away and two that's weird I would never do that anyways heck no dude"

They laugh at my serious face while I think of something.

"Josh come on I'm going to show you how to help me with something" He looks at me suspiciously but walks with me to the bathroom

I quickly dry my hair then pull out the straightener. "I need you to straighten my hair while I do my makeup" I tell him. He's my bestie he has to help.

"Okay give me it" he starts doing it and I'm proud. He doesn't even need guidance.

I get started on my makeup. Mascara, eyebrow gel, chapstick and concealer. Perfect. After a long while of us talking jake comes in the bathroom. "Are you done"

I look at Josh and he nods. "Yes we're done"

"Do you want to stay here or we can drop you off at your house" jake asks me looking unsure of what to do.

"Actually can you drop me off at abbies" I need to discuss things with her.

"Are you sure" jake asks.

I'm never sure of anything. I'm indecisive.

One day I want ice cream the next I want ice cream and chips.. or just chips.. or just a cookie.

Before I answer josh try's to decide for me. fricker.

"She'll stay here no way my besties going alone to see that bitch" he then takes my hand drags me to the couch and goes for a blanket, wraps me in it and nods to himself before handing me the remote to the tv.

My bestie.

As much as I would love this I need to face Abbie at some point.

"No it's okay I have to talk to her eventually plus it'll be okay she was probably upset" I try and convince them feeling unsure myself.

Josh gasp loudly and jake looks like he's deep in thought before answering "okay if that's what you want"

I realize they're starring at me waiting for my final decision "Yea I'm ready let's go" no I'm not ready. This is frightening.

We get in the truck and they drop me off.

Well after josh's telling me about self defense and how to really "hurt a hoe/break a b word" in his words.

He also gave me a taser.

Crazy dude.

I'm crazier. No buddy's crazier. He's eaten a bee, now that was scary I cried with him while I rushed him to the vets. I really thought my doggy was going to be taking a long nap and I was prepared to hijack the machine to bring him back.

Drastic times call for drastic measures.

I should be a doctor. Well I want to be a vet only thing is when I have to put pets down I'll probably break down and cry. It's a love hate relationship I have with being a vet.

Pros

1.buddy gets free doctor.

2.I meet lovely animals and save important little lives.

3.I make new friends.

4. Buddy can come to work with me.

Cons

1. Putting down animals is sad.

2.I can get attacked.

3. Buddy will be jelly of other doggy's.

Now there's more pros but still love hate. I don't mind blood so that's good.

I have my own conversation with myself in my head while jake and josh have theirs.

Currently they're talking detective stuff they're trying to find a killer. I probably shouldn't listen but oh well.

I do what I want.

"Tell me what you want what you really really want" I bust out in song because I'm bored and the silence is killing me.

I do random things when I'm bored like gymnastics and yoga and singing and punching people.

They both stop what they're doing and look at me. "I know I'm smexy and all but you" I point at jake. "Eyes on the road I don't want to die now"

I then point to josh "and you stop looking at me" he turns around laughing and I continue deep in thought.

Soon we get to abbies apartment and I say goodbye to my two friends before getting out the car and walking to the building.

I'm so nervous I pushed the wrong floor number.

No you did that because you're stalling.

Okay maybe I am stalling I'm just a little nervous. I click on the right floor and wait patiently to go up.

I then slowly start walking to her room as if that's gonna do anything.I probably look like a weirdo walking slowly down this hall talking to myself.

Ehhh I don't care.

I knock on the door and wait but nothing. I turn the knob and realize it's open so I get a bit worried and walk in.

She might kick me out.

Nah I don't think so I'm sure we're going to fix our little squable and we can once again be the best of friends.

I should've brought cookies as a peace treaty. I'll bring some tomorrow.

I'm scared.
