Chapter 46- forever.

Groaning as I hear my alarm I hurry to turn it off before Rosaline hears it. I stand up and stretch then lay a kiss on her forehead along with a gentle kiss to her belly not being able to fight the smile on my face as i think of my girl having my baby.

I watch as her face scrunches up and she turns towards benji to hug. Rosaline likes to cuddle while shes sleep, it's a bit odd.

Shaking my head I go into the restroom to take a quick shower then change into a blue shirt she got me. For some reason she thinks it's my favorite color, now everytime she goes shopping I can guarantee a baby blue clothing item is waiting for me.

"Nice shirt" jake winks out. I roll my eyes and give him a sarcastic smile. "Oh em gee! Damian were twinning" I turn my head to josh walking up to me pointing to his shirt. "Fuck off" I mumble looking back at my computer.

Josh sighs then mumbles a few things to himself before sauntering off to the break room. A few seconds later aiden comes in chuckling. I glance up and give him a suspicious glare. "What?" I grumble irritated. Aiden says nothing just smiles.

I ignore him and write a few things down. Minutes pass and a ding is heard from my phone.

Russian spy;)- "Hey dude stop being rude to josh he just called and told me what you said. I told you no one likes a crude!"

I smirk at the new name she chose then shake my head and change it back to what I originally had her under. "Wife" with two hearts.

"He deserved it" I answer back briefly.

Rosalines quick to answer and after about 15 minutes I put my phone down and go back to writing a few things down.

Once I finish up I stand to stretch before an officer wanders in my office. Just what I fucking needed.

"Good morning detective villarey there's a uh case here you need to get on" he rushes out. I glare at his presence and stiffly nod. "Ok just lay it there" I explain pointing to the shelf. He gives me a tight smile and lays it down then leaves right out the door.

I finish writing a few notes then stand to grab the case file.

"Andrew Ramirez" it reads in big letters as soon as I open it. There's rarely any cases but occasionally there's a few robberies, assaults, and well just stupid people to arrest.

I read through the file examining every word carefully making sure not to miss anything then close it and stand.

I walk into the break room with the file in my hand. "A new one?" Josh whines. I give him the 'look' to shut the fuck up, he mmediately straightens out. "Read it" I tell them handing the file to Jake.

"So where is he?" Ethan questions up. I sigh and look up. "We don't have enough proof to bring him in so that's what we're working on" I explain.

"Finding evidence to put that fucker in jail, got it" Jake repeats. My attention switches to josh who's smiling from ear to ear.

"Cmon say it with me detective and officers assemble" he yells putting his fist in the air. I glare at it and turn around heading back into my office. "Don't leave me hanging, do any of you not watch avengers?" He comments with a disappointed face.

Shaking my head I walk to my desk and grab the phone to make a few phone calls.

Rubbing my eyes I put my things up and check the time 5:03 pm, I've been here since 8. Deciding that's enough for today I stand and grab my keys to go home. We got enough information to get an interview with Andrew and hopefully get a confession but that's all tomorrow's work.

Rushing to my truck I get in and speed on home to where my girl is waiting probably resting.

I get to the house quickly and jog to the door. I go to unlock it but find it isn't even locked.

I told her to lock the door after going back in.

"Rosaline" I yell out. A laughter is heard from the kitchen and soon enough she runs into my arms. "Hey fella I missed you" she mumbles giving my shoulder a kiss.

I roll my eyes and look down into hers. Beautiful.

"You didn't miss me?" She teases giving me a small glare. I look at her unamused then grip her chin and pull it up to connect our lips.

Fucking heaven.

She pulls away but I don't stop, I let my lips wonder around her neck and just enjoy the moment.

"Hey dude I'm not a burger but speaking of burgers I really want one do we have the ingredients?" she wonders out mostly to herself. I follow her to the kitchen and watch as she checks for everything.

"We need buns and pickles" she tells me before heading upstairs. I sit on the couch and she comes back down with her shoes in her hand. "Let's go!"

My eyebrows furrow and I look at her confused. "To the store idiot" she mumbles walking out the door. I nod and walk right behind watching her ass extra closely.

Fucking fine.

"Stop being a weirdo" she yells from in front of me. I chuckle and walk to the drivers side then get in.

"Why can't I drive?" Rosaline argues. I look at her and raise my eyebrows. "Because last time I let you drive my truck you fucking almost crashed" I remind her matter of factly.

She thinks for a second then smiles. "Come on it was one time let's forget about that" she waves it off. I scoff and look back towards her. "3 times that day you nearly killed us" I remind her.

"Patato potato dude" she mumbles looking out the window resting her hand on her belly. I smile and place mine on top of hers. "Has he been kicking a lot today?" I ask.

Rosaline smiles and softly shakes her head. "He's mostly active when his dad comes around" she explains. My son.

We drive the rest of the way with Rosaline singing to random songs and trying to get me to sing with her.

"Here's your phone" she tells me handing it over to me then gets off. "Why don't you ever use your phone for music?" I question reaching for her hand.

"I do what I want" she shrugs and speeds walk into the store dragging me with her.

We walk in and Rosalines in her own little world. She doesn't pay any mind to people she just walks straight to the burger buns.

"You know what. while we're here I do need a few extra items so uh you mind being a dear and grabbing a cart" she sweetly asks.

"I'll wait right here" she yells out.

I nod and turn around to go grab cart then make my way back to the bun isle, when I don't see her I go to the pickle isle but find she's not there either.

Taking my phone out I shoot her a text asking where she's at and Rosaline replies with a picture of her at the skincare isle.

I head that way and see her talking to a girl.

"Yea I looked at him and I knew right then and there he was going to be the one I share my ice cream with" I hear the last part and a small smile appears on my face.

"Oh look here he is now!" She exclaims excitedly pointing to me. I nod and give my best friendly face Rosaline made me work on. "Hi" I mumble then look at her.

"Your baby is going to look so precious but I've got to get going my husbands probably looking for me now" she smiles and waves goodbye.

"I made a new friend!" Rosaline tells me excitement full on her voice. I chuckle and nod "you did".

"Anywho I need a few skin products and toys for my dogs and maybe meats for buddy to help him eat more" she reminds herself then starts adding things to the cart.

Rosaline drags me to every isle in the store before deciding she's done and we finally go checkout.

We leave the store with more than just '2 things' and I load up the truck while she sits inside eating watermelon along with some chocolate ice cream.

I put the cart back then get in the truck ignoring the loud music blasting through. Putting volume down I look to her lap reach for the watermelons. "Woah woah woah I asked if you wanted any" she tells me glaring.

I shrug and stick a few in my mouth then swallow. "I didn't want some but now I do" I explain.

She rolls her eyes and I pinch her hand that's on me. Rosaline punches me then goes off in a laughing fit. "Your face gets me every time" she yells in between laughter.

I didn't make a face.

"Hurry up I want to see my dogs" she chuckles slapping my arm. "Put your seatbelt on" I mumble nodding to it. She puts it on and I back out then head to our house.

We get there quickly and Rosaline grabs her skincare bag then walks away. I chuckle watching her jog in excitedly then grab the rest of the bags.

"Also I ate all the brownies you made monday so can you make more?" She questions as soon as I walk in. "Yea I'll make them later" I tell her swiftly then walk in the kitchen.

"pull your Gordon ramsi pants on sweetheart and start on the burgers then the brownies okay?" She looks at me for confirmation. "And what will you be doing?" I tease. Rosaline goes in thought then smiles. "Inspecting good shows to watch while I work on my essays" she tells me.

I nod and pull out the meat to cook on the grill. Once I open the door benji runs in from the backyard. I look around for buddy and he's in the far end corner laying down and watching me.

There's something off about him but I can't pin point it.

Shaking the thoughts off I place some of them on the grill and let them cook while I cut up a bit of lettuce and tomato.

Rosaline comes out humming to herself carrying a can of meats she got for the dogs. "Buddy come here" she calls out to him. Buddy ignores her and just looks away. A frown overtakes her beautiful face and I sigh. "He's probably just tired from playing all day" I explain.

Reluctantly she nods and pours the meat onto their plates 'in case he wants it later'.

I finish up cutting everything and go inside to grab a water bottle. "You know I never thought I would get pregnant at all but here I am twenty years old with a bun in the oven" Rosaline talks while holding her stomach.

I smile and come up behind her wrapping my arms around her. "And I never thought I would get married let alone have a baby but again here I am" I chuckle out.

We stay like that for a while. I would give everything to stay like this forever.

"Damian the burgers" she randomly blurts out. Giving one last kiss to rosalines temple I go back out and check on them.

they cook quickly and I put them on a plate. "Rosaline they're ready" I call out. She comes out with a bag of hot funions in one hand then a big water bottle in the other. I smile as I watch her talk to herself and scold benji for almost tripping her.

"So let me tell you about my morning hot stuff" she starts. Rosalines gives me a thumbs up after taking a bite then clears her throat. My undivided attention is fully on her watching her talk and laugh about random things.

I still can't believe I'm going to start a family with her. How can I have gotten so lucky?
