Chapter 1- decor.

"There's always room in the heart for one more friend"

Well I just woke up. It's 10:45 I'm an early bird. Joking, this is the earliest I'll wake up.

I'm still tired but I brush my teeth and hair then make my way downstairs. "Good morning sweetie I'm sorry I fell asleep early last night and didn't get to help you out with anything but I made pancakes"

My aunt is so sweet I love her. "It's okay and thank you!" I finish my food and as I'm about to get up to clean she stops me and hands me money

I'm confuzzled.

"Here's some money so that you can decorate your bedroom how you want and buy a few more things you need" I almost cry at how nice she is.

Immediately I get up and hug her. She cares.

Of course she does she made a promise to grandma.

My grandma. I miss her. I thank her again then make my way up stairs to change and go shopping for my bedroom.

I end up at bed bath and beyond. I hate shopping alone but Abbie couldn't come so here I am.

Okay the purple comforter or white?

This is a difficult decision the whites softer but the purple is prettier.

Innie mini miny moe catch a tiger by the toe if if growls- is that it? Idk. - if it growls let it go innie mini miny moe.

The purple! I take the purple then grab a white blanket that has cute butterfly's and add it in the cart.

"Okay now I need pillows but where are the fricking pillows" I ask myself.

I'm talking out loud to myself. I have a friend in Me.

Who wouldn't want to be my friend. I'm a fun person. My 2 friends will agree.

I grab 4 throw on pillows then make my way to a paint section. The bedroom color now is beige. Ew.

I'm doing something about that and changing the color to grey or white don't know but one of those.

I pick out the paint that'll look best with the rest of my decor and checkout.

I'm now back home getting off all my supplies.

me being me I try making it a one trip so I attempt to grab all the bags and end up falling on my booty.

I sit there for a bit, once I'm ready I sigh, get up and dust my booty off then grab the bags. I bring them all in and plop on my bed. My uncle and aunt went grocery shopping so I'm home alone.

After much consideration, I decide to go on a good ol walk.

On my walk I think of many things, food, buddy, books I want to read, food and grandma Ann.

I make it 3 houses down when I spot a nice fella who seems like he could be my new friend.

I'm going to make a friend.. if he doesn't agree I'll punch him.

I go up to him and tap his shoulder

"Hello I'm rosaline"

"I'm diego" he seems so nice already.

Diego from Dora the explo-

He interrupts me.

"So What are you doing here" great he wants to talk.

I can talk all day. Simmer down I don't want to scare the young lad now.

We sit down on the sidewalk and talk. Just like friends would do.

"I just moved here and I decided to take a walk and meet some neighbors" I explain.

"Oh really? I didn't know there was a house for sale on this block" he wonders out loud.

"No I moved in with my aunt and uncle. They've lived here for the past 10 years I believe" I tell him, really thinking about it.

"I've lived here for the past 18 years" he tells me grinning.

"Well I've lived here for one day and it seems like a great place" I give him a thumbs up.

My phone dings and I look at the message from my aunt telling me they'll be home soon.

"Sorry my aunt Victoria was just giving me updates" I tell him after replying.

"Victoria Emerson?" He questions.

My eyes narrow.

"How do you know my aunt" I question ready to run away or use my karate skills on him.

"She's friends with my mom. We have party's together all the time" he chuckles out.

I make an o face then chew my bottom lip to think of more conversation starters.

Diego laughs awkwardly then goes on his phone to probably text his friends.

Lucky duck I don't have any messages to answer. No one text me. I text my friend Damian but he likes to ignore me until I message him back more times.

Lovely cycle.

"have you gotten settled in" he glances up from his phone and I smile.

"almost I just got a few things for my new bedroom" I look at the time on my watch.

"I should probably go get started on painting the faster I do it the faster it dries" i explain slowly standing up.

He stands up with me and smiles showing his bright pearly teeth.

"If you want I can help with the painting" he offers dusting himself off.

I think about it for a few minutes then decide why the heck not so I lead him back to my house.

We get started on painting and do our best to make it look great.

Don't want to brag but my side looks fabulous.

I have fun painting with him. We got paint all over each other but it was hilarious. At one point he carried me and I kicked him which ended with us both falling.

Fun memories.

We continue talking then head downstairs to eat and watch tv while the paint finishes drying.

"What do you want to watch" diego asks chewing on his pizza. Well I have no clue im indecisive.

Hmm beauty and the beast? No I watched that earlier ehh well I don't care what.

"I don't mind whatever you want" this is good I watch the same shows and movies all the time I need a good change.

He looks through the movies "what about the 100" I heard about that. Didn't sound too interesting. I shake my head.

"I know what" he hands me the remote and immediately I put on one of my favorite movies ever.

Twilight.

"This movie?" Diego asks like if it's poison.

Yes this movies the best. It's wonderful. Hashtag team Edward.

"Yes now hush and enjoy" I grab myself a Gatorade and play the movie.

I really like being around him. A few minutes ago I got face mask and applied some on him and of course on me. We took many photographs.

Going back to the movies I lay my head on his lap and like the good friend he is he messages my head.

We're 2 twilight movies in when diego decides to go home since he forgot to tell his mom he was leaving.

I hug him goodbye then head upstairs to check the paint. 4 hours that's enough for it to dry.

Hm hm hm hm hmmm

I use 2 fingers and make sure it's dry then fix all my things up organizing my bedroom.

It took me a while but I finally finished my room. It looks great I ended up choosing a really light gray paint  with a purple comforter.

At the edge of the bed is a pretty white butterfly blanket and some throw on pillows. Amazing.

I even got a chair that hangs and hung it all on my own. Call me handy Mandy.

Overall my room looks pretty and has a purple white and gray theme to it with butterflies here and there.

I even added a book shelf it only has 4 books but I'll get more books soon.

For the final touch I put a framed picture of me and buddy on my dresser with a few candles then another picture of just buddy on my vanity.

I miss him.

It's now 6:43 they've been gone all day. Apparently they also went to run errands.

Sighing I grab my keys and head to my car heading to Starbucks to buy a coffee.

I end up getting a venti blonde vanilla latte with some caramel in it. Let me just say this is delicious.

Coffee is the best.

Singing my heart out to favorite crime I make my way to Barnes and Nobel to pick out a few books.

I chose 6 'the fault in our stars' 'they both die at the end' 'girl in pieces' 'the best lies' 'I hope you were listening'  and 'the hate you give'

They all interested me so I took them. Now on my way back this time jamming to sign of the times . It's a great song trust me I have an amazing playlist.

I look at the video where he's flying. I wish I could fly. I'll fly to heaven and snatch grandma.. hehe.

If I could have one superpower it would be to be invisible. Or breathe underwater.

I want to swim with sharks and be one with the animal.I bet they would enjoy my company.

Again who wouldn't? Im a great funny person.

I want a cake.

I get home and grab my books then head upstairs to set them up in the book shelf. The books I already have are 'pretty little liars' 'a dogs purpose' 'a dogs journey' and 'we were liars'

I got the 2 dog books so I can read it with buddy and explain to him that he can't leave me ever and if he does to come back as a German shepherd. Those are just so cute.

After im done I sigh once again. I miss buddy. I have no one to talk to now. He always made me feel happy even when I was alone.

He'll be here soon. Mom promised he can come later after I'm all set in.

Maybe she'll send him early? I finished everything earlier than plan so maybe he can come earlier than planned.

Maybe I can go as a spy and kidnap him. Dognap.

Hehehehhe buddy would enjoy sneaking away with me.

I can buy us outfits. Oh wait for Halloween we can dress up as spies. I'll even buy him a fake gun. Not a real one I'm not allowed to buy a real one I think.

I don't need one my muscles are enough to scare people away.

Moving on I'm currently in watching twilight eclipse.

As I get to the part where Bella is laying in the sleeping bag with Jacob I hear the door open.

8:21.

I hurry and pause the movie then head downstairs to  talk to my uncle and aunt.

"Hey Rose I'm just putting up the stuff how was your day" I grab items to help her put away while I tell her about my day.

"Well I finished my room-" my uncle interrupts me. "Oh really I'm glad you did y'all finish up here I'll go check out your new bedroom then I'm probably going to watch some tv up in my room"

"Okay goodnight" I get up and hug him then go back to telling her about my day.

"Oh then I made a new friend his name is diego he was so kind and helped me finish painting and we watched a movie- " I pause to put up the cereal and my aunt nods telling me to go one.

"Well, then I finished setting up my room and decided I needed more books so I went first to get coffee which let me tell you it was so good then I went to the book store and got 6 books" I think I've been talking a bit too long.

"Then I laid down and watched more twilight movies" I think I should wrap it out before I talk her ear off.

"What books did you get sweetie" my aunt asks putting away the ice cream. "I'll show you!" Excitedly I rush upstairs and get all my books then rush down and place them on the counter.

"I picked these 6 and these 4-" I separate them into 2 piles the 4 I had and 6 I got. "I already had"

She looks at each of the books reads some of the summaries and smiles at me. "Those are some great choices I have some books in my bedroom if you want to take a look, well when your uncles awake"

I giggle and nod "I will thank you" finishing up putting everything away I yawn and decide it's time for me to hit the hay.

Not actual hay just my bed. Isn't hay where pigs lay? Although I am as chunky as one I don't think it'll be comfy...

"I'm going to sleep goodnight" I grab my books and hug her. "Goodnight Rose.

Walking into my room I set my books back up and add a candle my uncle brought me that smells like lavender and another that smells like vanilla to the book shelf.

I really like it here. I think I'm gonna like it here.. hehe annie I love that movie.

I never went swimming.

I wash my face then go under the blanket and say a quick prayer. When I stayed with my grandma we always did our prayers together, So now it's become a habit, a good habit.

I fall asleep my last thoughts of my grandma.
