If anyone tells you that I just spent a whole minute jumping up and down while squealing after checking my wattpad user, it's a lie, sorta. Well.. Anyway, thank you for voting guys and I'm glad you liked the last chapter. This goes out to @devilghost and @Winxclubbloom1838

"Here are the rules," He started, eyeing the three guys that I'm pretty sure are really intimidating but I shook my head, chuckling softly.
"We're out of the building, there are no rules, pretty boy." You asked for it, you're gonna get it. "The only shit that's gonna happen is a deal. If I win, you and any associate of yours will leave me and my friends alone." I told him in a firm voice, thinking about Monic. Jake better get her somewhere safe by now or I'm gonna castrate the shit out of that guy.
"And if I win?" He prodded and I shrugged, hoping to come off uncaring about it. There was a 50/50 chance this guy can win judging from his built and how his eyes zero on my every move. This is gonna be a tough fight.
His eyes twinkled with mischief and something else that made the hair on the back of my neck stand up and goosebumps rising on my arms. It spelled trouble. I'm not expecting him to play along with the deal but it's worth the try.
Maybe he'll have a change of heart.
Pshh.. Yeah right.
I clenched my fist as he laid out his bargain. "If I win, you're gonna come with me and meet my 'associates'." I felt a muscle in my jaw tick as I ground my teeth. I knew it was too good to be true.
I heard a sound of protest behind me but thought nothing of it.
"Alright, let's get this over with." I let out calmly before steeling my face and letting the adrenaline that's been locked up inside me take over. I hardened my expression and let all the emotions be washed away.
I saw the guy furrowing his eyebrows and parted his legs, bending his knees, apparently ready for a hit.
If a hit is what he wants, I'd be stupid to give it to him. I moved closer and see if he'll respond. I saw something move out of the corner of my eyes and jumped out of the way as his fist flew an inch away from my eyes.
I crouched down and swung my legs, swiping out his beneath him. He lost his balance and fell on the ground, groaning and arching his back before rolling on the ground, his face scrunched up in agony.
I took the opportunity, taking his hand and twisting it behind him, making sure to lock it with both hands.
I neared my face beside his and whispered harshly in his ear, demanding answers. This guy wants to hurt me and my friends and I have to know why.
"Who are you working for?" I demanded.
He chuckled but cut off by his own cough, gasping for air but that didn't seem to ruin his moment as he gave off a weak chuckle once more.
"Someone who paid a high price for your head, princess." I growled, not liking the nickname out of his mouth.
"Give me a name." I tightened my hold on his arm behind him and twisted it an inch more with a painstakingly slow motion, making him feel every inch of his arm screaming to be let out of the hold.
He cringed, his eyes shut tight and his whole face tightened in pain.
"Who. Sent. You." With every word, I tightened it more and more until he gave out a cry in pain. He gulped, trying to search for air as a sheen of sweat broke out on his forehead, dampening it.
He growled in annoyance and threw me off him by rolling back and I got squashed beneath his body.
The breath got knocked out of me and I gasped in an attempt to get it back.
"Not so easy there, huh?" He smirked down at me as he stood up from where he stood.
I braced myself and kicked the ground and stood up with ease, glowering at him and mocked punch him only to alter my body and raise my foot to give him a hard kick on his abdomen and brought my body with it to add more force.
He stumbled a few steps back and held onto his abdomen, coughing and seeming to have a hard time catching his breath.
I took that chance to give him a right hook but he was way quicker as his instincts kick in and he yanked my hand so that my body staggered forward towards him.
He slapped me, dazing me in and out of focus before taking my neck in his hands and blocked the air circulating in me. I held my breath and forced my body to go limp, feeling his fingers relaxing for a while and I took that moment to gave him a hit on the underside of his elbows and brought my own to give him a hard smack on the face.
It gave out a satisfying sound that echoed through the night but I wasn't done yet and grabbed the back of his neck and locked my fingers together before tugging at it harshly downwards and my knee met his face halfway.
I felt it before I heard it as his nose cracked from the impact. He cried out in agony and held onto his nose and staggered back the second I let my fingers entangle themselves.
I stalked towards him once again, watching him like a predator would and narrowed my eyes at him. "Who do you work for?" I demanded once again. My voice clear and firm.
He chuckled into the night and gave out a snarky reply.
"Watch your back, princess. The closest to you will be holding the sharpest knife," he was cut off by a kick on the head, effectively knocking him out and I groaned in annoyance and frustration as his body crumbled to the ground. Just a second more and I would've known who it was.
I glared at Dominic as he came into view, stalking up towards him and got into his face. "I could've gotten some information out of him and hunted down the people who wants me dead and protect Monic from the danger that's up on my ass!" I screamed at him in frustration as I grabbed a fistful of my hair and yank it in the midst of my yelling.
Dom didn't answer me as he stared at me coldly.
"He talked too much," was all he said before walking away.
I glowered at his retreating back. What the hell was that supposed to mean?! He can't just roundhouse kick someone in the middle of an interrogation and knock him out, preventing any further answers we could've gotten out of him and walk away.
Who the fuck does that?!
I wanted to scream at him to come back here and give him a good bitch slap but instead, I turned to the dumbfounded guys.
I sighed, picking the hoodie that I threw. Apparently, Adam was too out of it to catch the hoodie or pick it off the ground.
"We'll talk later. Get me to wherever Jake sent Monic to. I need to make sure my baby sister is safe." I ordered them.
"But- you- him- what?" Adam stared at me with wide eyes and Zac just stared with his mouth agape. I flicked both of their foreheads, trying to get them out of the trance.
"Do you want to be here when he wakes up?" I jerked my thumb behind me, motioning to the unconscious man that challenged me into a duel.
Both shook their heads and I sighed in exhaustion. "Then let's go!"
They both scrambled into motion and Adam fished out his keys, his hands trembled so much to the point that he couldn't even slide in the key into the ignition.
I huffed out a breath and took the keys out of his hold and slid it in easily. "I'm driving." I stated, not waiting for an objection before throwing my foot over the bike and sat there, strapping my helmet over my head and tied the hoodie around my waist.
"You coming?" I turned back and faced an astonished Adam after turning on the engine. "You drive motorbikes?" He asked, bewildered. I nodded like it was no big deal. "Get on already." I snapped, getting tired of repeating things.
I asked for the address and after sensing that Adam was ready to go, I kicked the stand off the bike and twisted the right handle and the engine roared to life before the tires screeched and I raced out of there.
I heard a distinct sound of shock before two huge arms settled around my tiny waist. I decided to ignore it and turned on a street, counting the numbers as buildings past by in a whirl of blurred scenery and stopped in front of a particular warehouse.
It seemed empty and deserted but I've learnt long ago to never judge anything by what you see in the outside.
I got off the bike and let Adam guide me through a small opening as he motioned for me to go first. My hands were still on the steer as I pushed the bike forward and into the warehouse.
We don't need anymore uninvited guests showing up with a surprise party tonight, I thought as Adam locked the warehouse entrance and guided me inside.
'It's gonna be a hell of a night' was the only thing that was in my mind as I saw Monic sitting there, being comforted by Jake.
