Not even going to lie to y'all, I was ready to just throw this story away lol. Been stuck on where I want to go with it. Still contemplating on how I want to end it, but enjoy!

Mateo sat on the couch with Kaiden in his arms sleep. He slowly got up to put him down in the bassinet they had downstairs. Jessica was in the kitchen making them a quick lunch. Once he laid him down he walked into the kitchen as Jessica had just finished setting their plates. She had made something simple and quick, hotdogs and beans.

She smiled as they caught eyes. He walked closer to her pecking her lips a couple of times. He loved her lips. She backed up from him, "let's eat. I'm hungry!"

She pushed their plates towards the stools that were lined up on the kitchens island. He took a seat as she came around doing the same. "What you got planned for today?" She questioned as she took a bite out of her hotdog. Mateo ate a spoonful of beans before responding. "Go to the house, grab some more clothes for the few days I have left before I have to get back to work. And probably hit the gym, that's about it though. You?"

"Well since your mom is coming to watch Kaiden I'll probably run some errands, just get some air since I've just been cooped up in the house."

Mateo nodded, "that's a good idea." They continued with light conversation until they finished their food. Once they finished Mateo grabbed his bag and made his way home.

When he pulled up to his house he saw a black truck that looked like Xavier's. But in his mind he told himself there was no way it was his. He quickly parked behind Sofia's car and got out once he grabbed his bag.

He barged in the house as Sofia quickly turned looking at him as she sat in the living room, her eyes slightly widening before turning into a smile. "Hey!" She stood up as she neared him. "Whose car is parked in my driveway?" He questioned not returning her hey.

She brought her eyebrows together as she stood up. "I told you to tell me before you came back."

"This my house, what the fuck I look like telling you before I come?" Sofia rolled her eyes at his reply as she crossed her arms. Before she could say anything a girl walked out the downstairs bathroom, entering the living room. "Oh hi!" She smiled as she looked at Mateo.

Sofia looked over at her, "Kate, Mateo. Mateo this is Kate, the person whose car is parked outside." A fire in Mateo dimmed down, part of him had truly believed that it was X's truck. Mateo spoke to her before heading up the stairs.

Kate and Sofia took a seat as Kate's eyes widened. "Chill out, we're good." Sofia whispered. "He clearly saw him otherwise he would have been back in here." Kate nodded as she noticeably calmed down.

"What if he stays awhile?" Kate questioned. "Then you go and we'll do it another day." Sofia pulled out her phone texting the guy in the car her plan.

She was thankful Mateo came when he did because had he came even ten minutes later, it would be a different situation. "Are you going to check to see what he's doing?"

Sofia shook her head, "that'll look like I'm up to something. You're my company, so I'm not going to stress him."

The girls sat in the living room fake watching TV as they waited for Mateo to be on his way, but after twenty minutes pasted the guy in the car let it be known he wouldn't be waiting much longer. "I'll be back." Sofia stated as she decided to go upstairs.

As she walked in the room Mateo was throwing stuff in a bag as he finished putting on a shirt, he looked like he was going to the gym and she was sure he was. "Going to work out?" She questioned as she crossed her arms. He nodded without looking up at her as he threw another pair of shorts in his bag before zipping it up and throwing it over his shoulder.

"Leaving so soon?" She pouted. He looked over at her, something told him she's was off but he wasn't about to get into right now. "Yeah, going to the gym and I'm going to try to catch the batting cage before it closes." He looked at his phone as he was checking the time. "And don't be just having strangers in my shit. Anything go missing or get messed up you coming up with a way to replace it."

Sofia waved him off, "she's not like that." Mateo walked out the room as he closed the door, ignoring what she said. He jogged down the stairs as she followed. "Leaving?" Kate asked with a small smile. He nodded, "yeah."

"Well have a good one and nice meeting you." She smiled again. "Same to you!" He responded as his eyes stayed on her for a second, realizing he knew her face from somewhere but couldn't put his finger on it.

He walked out as the nerves in Sofia picked up realizing her plan was really about to happen. Sofia had hit a low point and Kate had reached out to her on Instagram about doing a video for a whole lot of money.

But the kicker was that Kate was a porn star. Sofia was skeptical but Kate and others told her she could do it and rained down the positives on it and one person even reminding her she had did something similar before for a far less price. But that didn't make her feel good. However, she needed money and she knew Mateo wasn't coming around to be back with her at this point, and realizing that X was no help with it she hadn't been communicating with him that much. She knew she could make a good living off of it, but she wanted all control.

Kate stood up as a knock came through on the door, she knew it was the person who would be setting up to record. "It's open." She yelled out as he walked in with a bag and camera equipment in his hand. "This could be titled 'two hot chicks fuck at Mateo Santos' or something like that! Using his name will definitely help." Kate smiled. "It was a great idea for you to say to do it here."

Sofia had only said to do it here just in case she chickened out which she now realized wasn't so smart. But the strong part of her also chose to do it here because she knew throwing Mateo's name on it would bring in even more revenue.

Sofia gave a small smile as it was clear her nerves were getting the best of her. "Here, relax." Kate started as she handed her a pill, "take this. It'll make you feel better." Just as she placed one pill in Sofia's hand, she put another one on her tongue as she quickly swallowed it and smiled at Sofia.

Sofia nodded as her thoughts took over, she had left this crazy ass lifestyle in the past. Was she really about to stoop this low again?

Jessica moved around the store pushing a shopping cart as she now looked at vegetables deciding which ones she needed. She grabbed a bag, picking up some tomatoes as she felt them to make sure they were ripe enough. She put them in the bag and in the basket before moving on to the next.

"Look who it is!" Jessica turned around coming face to face with Xavier. She rolled her eyes as she continued to pick up vegetables. "Now why you being rude?" He smiled.

Jessica looked over at him. "What do you want?"

"Damn, a nigga can't speak?" Jessica rolled her eyes. "Speak for what Xavier? You don't like me, that's been clear from day one."

He stood there for a moment as he just took Jessica in, he licked his lips. "You know who you remind me of?" He questioned deciding to be honest with her. He was trying to turn over a new leaf, starting at this very moment. Seeing her reminded him of how much he missed his relationship with Mateo.

She stopped picking out vegetables as she put her attention on him, waiting for him to say some stupid ass, smart ass shit. "My ex." Jessica scrunched up her eyebrows not getting where he was going.

"You look just like her and she did me dirty as fuck." Jessica laughed, "oh so what you're saying is you hate me because I look like your ex? Real mature Xavier, but I'm not her. Grow up."

"Close enough, there's no way you don't know Jazmin." He let out. Jessica's eyes widened, realizing he was talking about her sister. "Jazmin who?" She questioned instead, there were a thousand Jazmin's in the world.

He laughed. "Your sister." Jessica was taken aback. "Didn't know you two were a thing, she never mentioned you." She purposely threw out to throw a jab at his ego.

"I'm sure she didn't, she was a trash ass female that I put my all into." He stated with seriousness. "She's never been the settling down type." Jessica let out. "I'm sure she told you that from jump. That was your fault if you thought you could change that." Jessica might not have talked to her sister as much as she should have, but she still knew how she moved and from their last conversation that hadn't changed.

And that much was true, Jazmin has made it clear she wasn't looking for anything serious when they met, and she figured a guy in the NFL probably wasn't either. However, Xavier fell for her he didn't plan on it but he did and Jazmin fed into it, just to up and dip on him.

"You probably just like her and my boy don't deserve that."

Jessica turned back towards her basket as she started pushing it to get out of someone's way. "I'm nothing like her actually. Our looks may be similar but that's about it. So if that's the reason you've acted like a bitch towards me and been on some bullshit with Mateo in regards to me, you're pathetic." She started to move from the vegetables altogether. "And at what point did you realize I was her sister?" She was curious to know.

"A picture on your instagram. The three of y'all.  But that shit isn't relevant. I -"

"You're right, none of it is." Jessica interrupted before he could continue. "I'm not my sister, and you're childish as fuck. Glad you decided to come clean on your reason for being so shitty however. Get over whatever the fuck Jazmin did to you and move on. I'm sure you've done girls far worst."

He grabbed her arm as she started walking away. "I'm not finished." She snatched her arm out of his grasp. "But I am, and don't put your fucking hands on me."

"Jessica I'm trying to fucking apologize." He stood beside her with his hood on and some dark sunglasses. Always trying not to be seen. She took a second to gather herself as she stood there. "For what? All of a sudden you want to apologize?" She let out after an awkward moment of silence.

"Cause I've been dead wrong."

"And you just not realizing that?" He shook his head, no. "I've been taking out the anger I have towards your sister on you. A part of me thought you might talk to her and mention it."

"And then what? You thought she was going to hit you up if I did say something? Like you aren't making any sense."

X shrugged his shoulders as he let out a sigh, "I don't know Jessica. I'm sorry for the way I've treated you and judged you based off of how things went with your sister." He crossed his arms as he looked at her.

"If you didn't run into me in here would this have even came out?" She questioned, she didn't know if this was sincere or not.

X sighed, "Jessica, I don't know. I just know I owe you an apology."

This all just felt like it came out of nowhere. She didn't know if she trusted it just yet, but she would definitely be hitting up Jazmin for her to spill the tea on her and Xavier and what went down.
