Chapter 333: Chapter 333

Defying Fate: The Unstoppable EileenWords: 6080

Crash!

The phone that had been connecting incessantly for days finally met its end.

Eileen violently hung up the call, her cheeks flaming with a mix of anger and shock as she stared at Paulina.

Paulina, arms akimbo and even fiercer than Eileen, shot back, "You made me do it!"

Eileen was speechless.

She felt a migraine coming on.

Then, the phone rang again—Egbert was on the line.

Eileen's head felt like it was about to explode. She hung up without a second thought!

Paulina, nosy as ever, leaned in with curiosity sparkling in her eyes. "How long have you two been an item? You haven’t done anything at all? What's up, you got some religious convictions? Don't believe in premarital sex?"

Eileen was livid!

She stood up abruptly and declared, "I can't even deal with you right now!"

Without another word, she stormed out of the dressing room.

Outside, a crowd had gathered.

As Eileen emerged, they bombarded her with questions about Paulina's outburst.

In no mood for chitchat, Eileen frowned and muttered, "I don't know," before trying to leave.

But Chester, anxious and impatient, grabbed Eileen's hand, blurting out, "Miss... AHHHHH!"

A scream tore through the silence!

The huddled crowd scattered, their faces painted with horror as they stared at Chester, who was now pinned under Eileen's iron grip, his arm twisted and his body under her boot.

The world stood still.

Carrol, who had been pulled by the assistant director to personally appease Paulina—since the afternoon's shoot must go on—witnessed Eileen execute a textbook judo throw on Chester. Then, standing on his back, she kicked at his shoulder and seethed, "Did I say you could touch me?!"

Carrol nearly choked on his breath.

Trembling, he clutched his assistant director's arm and stuttered, "I-I-I always said, women are trouble! Especially this one! Paired with Paulina's temper tantrums, these two are going to be the death of me!"

Paulina, hearing Chester's shriek, peeked out only to find Eileen, her face twisted with fury, punching Chester into submission.

After a moment's shock, she promptly slammed the door shut and locked it from inside.

She knew Eileen had gone from a sweet, lovestruck girl to a ferocious tank, likely due to the messy conversation with Egbert earlier. Damn, she'd almost forgotten this girl knew how to fight, was trained in combat, and dared to face off with international terrorists.

Once the initial shock subsided, the onlookers realized Chester might actually get hurt and rushed to pull Eileen away.

Eileen wasn't really trying to kill Chester. Having vented her wrath, she regained her composure.

Shaking off the crowd, she took a step back and glared a warning, "Keep your paws to yourself. Next time you touch me, you won’t have any!"

With that, she dusted off her clothes and walked away.

The crew then rushed to help Chester up.

But the moment they touched him, Chester howled in pain, "Ah... no, no... I can't move my hand... Don't touch me!"

Everyone froze again.

Carrol hurried over and, upon seeing Chester's state, barked, "What are you waiting for? Where's the on-set medic?"

Minutes later, the medic arrived and examined Chester, only to report, "Doesn't seem serious, no bruises. Are you sure you can't move?"

Chester's face darkened with rage. He snapped, "Of course I can't move, or I wouldn't be lying here! What's wrong with my hand? Is it broken?!"

The medic checked again and confirmed, "No breaks, no wounds. Honestly, this wouldn't even show up on an injury report."

The bystanders murmured, having witnessed Eileen's attack, but the medic maintained, "Then she didn't hit him that hard."

Eventually, Chester was taken to the hospital for a thorough check-up, which turned up nothing.

The attending doctor, tired of Chester's complaints, bluntly told him, "It's all in your head. Stay still for ten minutes, and you'll be fine."

Chester was livid, but the doctor had had enough and stormed off.

Later, Eileen heard how Chester had made a scene at the hospital, demanding test after test.

Carrol called her in and asked point-blank, "Why on earth did you hit him?"

Eileen replied with a deadpan expression, "Check the hallway cameras."

Carrol prodded, "He just grabbed you, right?"

Eileen raised an eyebrow and retorted, "Isn't that reason enough for him to be dead ten times over?"

Carrol was speechless.

Fine, you're a queen!

Defeated, Carrol finally joked, "Are you just trying me make me die before I finish my movie?”

Eileen remained silent, her point made.

Carrol looked around cautiously, then leaned in and whispered, “And seriously, how did you manage to hit him without leaving a mark? The hospital couldn’t find any injuries. He doesn’t seem to be faking it either. Now he’s refusing to be discharged, called his agent to come over, saying he wants to transfer to another hospital for more tests.”

Eileen paused at his words, then suddenly asked, “If he doesn’t return to the set, does that count as absenteeism? Can we fire him and get a new lead actor?”

“I ought to fire you first!”

Carrol snapped back, his temper flaring, “Whose fault is it he can’t work? And you have the nerve to ask!”

Eileen fell silent again.

Carrol pressed, “Why can’t they find anything wrong?”

Defying Fate: The Unstoppable Eileen Chapter 332 Eileen scoffed, “If they could have found something, then what good would my mentor be, all that training for nothing.”

Carrol paused, “Your mentor?”

Eileen waved her hand dismissively, “Whatever, it’s just one of those things.”

Carrol was left speechless.

Finally, Carrol didn’t want to say another word. He gestured dismissively, signaling Eileen to get lost.

Then he turned on his heel and dialed Egbert to vent his frustrations!

After recounting the debacle with Chester, Carrol bellowed at Egbert, “Can’t you do something about her? Or better yet, come and take her away yourself!”

There was silence on the other end of the phone. After a moment, Egbert replied, “Alright, I’ll catch the 10:30 flight, I’ll be there as soon as possible.”
