Darshil carries Aarvi into the bedroom and gently sets her down on the bed. He pulls a chair over and sits down beside her. He looks at her with a gentle and caring look. He reaches out and touches her leg, checking the severity of her injury.
It's not that severe..... it will be fine soon. You don't have to worry. Aarvi said
Darshil shakes his head
It's more than just a minor injury. I can see that it's really hurting you. You're in pain and I can't just leave you here like this. I'm going to take care of you. Darshil said and Aarvi was staring at him.
Darshil notices the way she was looking at him but he can also see that she was in pain. He feels a rush if emotions, a rush if affection abd desire as he see the way she was gazing at him.
I am not going to let you stay in pain. Just trust me. I'll go get some ice for your ankle. It'll help with the swelling and the pain. Darshil said and then he stands up and walks out of the room. He comes back a few minutes later with a bag of ice wrapped in a towel. He places the ice on her ankle and holds it in place. He looks at her with a caring look.
You don't need to do this for me. Aarvi said
I want to do this for you. I don't want to see you in pain. I want to make sure you're okay. Darshil said
Why are you doing all this? What do you want to prove by showing such care and effort? Aarvi asked
Darshil looks at her with a serious look I'm doing this because I care about you. I want to make sure you're safe and fine. I want to take care of you and make sure you're comfortable. I'm not trying to prove anything. I'm just fulfilling my duty. Darshil said and then touch her ankle to check the swelling.
Don't touch my feet..... it's not good. Aarvi said
Darshil touches her feet with a teasing look.
I'm not going to stop touching your feet. In fact, I'm going to touch them even more. You're not getting away from me that easily. Darshil said
Why do you always do opposite of what I say? My mom says that husbands should not touch their wives feet. Aarvi said
Well, I'm not like other husbands. I'm a different kind of man. I'm not going to let anyone else touch your feet except me. And I'm going to touch them as much as I want. Darshil said and Aarvi glared at him which makes him smile with a teasing look.
What's wrong? Can't handle the fact that I'm going to touch your feet? I guess I'll just have to keep doing it then. You can't stop me. Darshil said and his hand was still on her feet
Don't do it.....it's a signify the insult of husband. Aarvi said
Maybe it is. But I don't care. I'm going to keep touching your feet. And you can't do anything about it. I'm going to enjoy every second of it. Darshil said
You are so stubborn. Aarvi said
I am a little stubborn. But you know what they say, opposites attract. And I think that's why we get along so well. I'm stubborn and you're feisty. I think we make a great pair. Darshil said and Aarvi looked at him in disbelief
You are so weird too. Aarvi said
"Jaisa bhi hu, tumhara hu" Darshil said looking into her eyes.
Don't look at me. Aarvi said
Why not? Can't handle the way I'm looking at you? I'm just admiring how beautiful you are, Hazel. You're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. Darshil said
Haha...... stop it now. Aarvi said in frustration
Darshil smiles softly and leans in close to her.
Make me stop. You're the one who's so irresistible. How could I not look at you? How could I not admire your beauty? Darshil said and looked at the ankle. He reaches out and gently takes her foot in his hands. He starts massaging it gently, trying to ease the pain but Aarvi flinches in pain for a moment.
Darshil stops massaging her foot and looks at her with a concerned look.
Does that hurt? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. I just wanted to try and make the pain go away. Darshil said
It's okay..... Aarvi said
Darshil smiles softly and continues massaging her foot. He moves his hands in gentle circular motions, trying to relax the muscles and ease the pain. He keeps looking at her with a caring look in his eyes. Aarvi didn't stopped him this time, she closed her eyes and rested her head against the headboard and closed her eyes.
Darshil notices that she seem to be relaxing and her breathing has slowed down. He continues massaging her foot, trying to provide as much relief as possible. He keeps looking at her with a soft and caring look, making sure he can make all her pain go away. Aarvi was feeling much relieved abd eventually she fell asleep.
Darshil notices that she has fallen asleep and he smiles softly. He keeps massaging her foot for a little while longer, just to make sure she is comfortable.
Sleep well, Hazel. Darshil said with a smile and kissed on her feet softly.
Next morning, Aarvi woke up at 7 am, as she opened her eyes, she saw that the couch was empty. She sat up quickly only to find Darshil sleeping in front of her still sitting on the chair. His head was resting on her foot, his breathing was slow and steady. He looked peaceful and content as he slept. She can tell that he had been awake all night, taking care of her. Her eyes widen in surprise. Aarvi slowly shifted my leg aside and looked at him with a bit of affection.
Darshi's face was relaxed and his breathing was even. His eyes were closed and he looked completely at peace. The sunlight hitting his face made him look like an angel. Aarvi couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and comfort as she watched him sleep. She notice how handsome he was, even when he was asleep. She also noticed the way his hair fell over his face, making him look even more attractive. She was staring at him and she gently touched his hair.
Darshil's eyes slowly start to open as she touch his hair. Aarvi quickly takes her hand back. He looks up at her and smiles softly. He sits up and stretches, rubbing his eyes.
What are you doing here? Aarvi asked
I was just making sure you were okay. I was worried about your ankle and I wanted to make sure it wasn't hurting too much. Darshil said
So you stayed up here all night? Aarvi asked
Darshil nods
I couldn't sleep. I was too worried about you. I wanted to make sure you were comfortable and that your ankle wasn't hurting too much. So I stayed up all night and watched over you. Darshil said
But you were tired too.... You should have slept properly. Aarvi said
No, I'm fine. I'm more worried about you than myself. I want to make sure you're okay. I can sleep later. Right now, my only concern is you Hazel. Darshil said
I am fine now, please take some rest. Aarvi said
I don't think I can leave you alone. I'm worried that you might need something. What if your ankle starts hurting again? What if you need me? Darshil said.
Then, I will call you. But now my ankle is perfect, the ice and massage has helped it. Aarvi said
Are you sure? You're not just saying that to make me feel better? I want you to be completely honest with me. Darshil said
Yes I am sure..... I am going to take a shower. You can sleep on the bed. My ankle isn't hurting at all. Aarvi said
Okay. Darshil said with a smile
Then Aarvi get out if the bed and walked to the washroom and Darshil lays on the bed and fell asleep.
After an hour, Aarvi walked out of the changing room and stood infront of the mirror, flicking her hair with a towel. Water droplets from the tip of her hair
accidentally fall on Darshil's face, causing him to wakeup. Shocked, his breadth catches. He subtly shifts the duvet and watches her discreetly. She is wearing a purple colour anarkali suit. She applies moisturizer, kajal and lip balm. She then combs her hair and ties it with a small cluture.
Darshil notices she isn't wearing her mangalsutra and sindoor, which makes him sad. Aarvi wears her earrings and bangles and then her gaze shifted to the mangalsutra which she took and wear quickly. After that she applies sindoor and leave the room. Seeing her with a symbol of marriage, Darshil smiles and sit up.
Aarvi walk downstairs, directly to the kitchen.
Aarvi, you are here? Are you okay? Nandini ji asked.
Yes dadi.... But why do you ask? Aarvi said
Last night, I saw Darshil taking ice bag for you. He told me that you sprained your leg. Is it better now? Nandini ji asked
Yes..... It's much better. Thanks to Darshil.... Aarvi said with a smile thinking about him but as she looked back at Nandini ji, she blinks her eyes multiple times and clears her throat. Nandini ji smiled
Darshil is really loving and caring for his closed ones. If he loves anyone, he couldn't bear even a single scratch of that person. He is just aggressive and that's why, people can't see his heart of gold but I am glad that you saw it. I just want you to love him so much that he forget all his bad memories. Nandini ji said
Bad memories? Aarvi asked
Yes beta.... 5 years ago...... Nandini ji said and thaught for a moment
Dadi..... Darshil interrupted in the middle of the conversation and both of them looked at him.
Darshil.... Nandini ji said
I need to talk to you. Darshil said
You can go dadi, I will take care here. Aarvi said and Nandini ji left with Darshil to her room.
Darshil.... You didn't tell Aarvi about anything? Nandini ji asked
No and it will be better if you also don't talk about this. Darshil said
But why Darshil? She has a right to know everything about you. And she will come to know about the accident when will talk about Ruhi. Nandini ji said
You can tell her about Ruhi but not anything else. Darshil said
But why? It was nothing to be hidden. Nandini ji asked
Because..... I don't want her to see with the eye of pity like you all do. I want pure and happy love from her, not a pity or sympathetic love. Please dadi..... Darshil said and Nandini ji nodded
She then walked out of the room to the kitchen.
Is everything alright dadi? Aarvi asked
Yes beta.... Let's put breakfast on the table. Nandini ji said and Aarvi nodded
After sometime, they all gathered at the breakfast table and ate together.
Darshil was ready in his formal wear to go to office. He went to his room to take his files where Aarvi was also present.
Are you okay? Darshil asked
Why do you keep on asking this question again and again? Aarvi asked and Darshil smiled
Because I want to make sure that my Hazel is fine or not. Darshil said
I can take care of myself. Aarvi said
But you don't need to when I am there for you. Darshil said
You should not expect ne to love you due to these silly sweet words. Aarvi said and Darshil stares at her for a moment
Hazel, you are my wife. Atleast give a chance to this marriage and me. Please think about it. Darshil said
I don't need to..... I don't consider you as my husband. Aarvi said
Darshil walks towards her.
Really??? Then why this mangalsutra and sindoor? Nothing can change whether you consider it or not. Then why don't you give up? Darshil asked
Aarvi stared into his eyes.

You are too stubborn to deal with. Okay take care if yours till I will be back. Darshil said with a smile and walked out of the room and Aarvi sat on the bed in anger.

It was evening time when Aarvi got a call from Siya.

How are you doing? Siya asked
I am good, how is everyone at home? Aarvi asked
Everyone is fine, I want to meet you Aarvi. Siya said

Aarvi, Ruhi is the daughter my elder brother Rishav. But, Rishav bhai and bhabhi died in a car accident 5 years ago. From then onwards, Ruhi stays with us. Darshil bhai took all the responsibilities of Ruhi and always treated her like his own daughter. I and dadi were worried about Ruhi so much and wanted Darshil bhai to marry so that Ruhi can get the love of a mother too. And finally, we got you. We really love you Aarvi, I hope you will also start loving us soon. Poorva said and Aarvi was lost in some thoughts for a moment and her eyes were wet.

Then Ruhi and Aarvi went to her room and Aarvi gets her dressed in a casual outfit. After that, she makes Ruhi have the lunch and plays and talk with her.
Nandini ji was watching all this and she felt so happy and overwhelming with Aarvi's love.
Atlast, Ruhi got her mother. Nandini ji said and Poorva hugged her. They both were watching Aarvi and Ruhi playing happily together.
After sometime Siya arrives 'Rajvanshi House'. As soon as Aarvi saw her, she ran to hug her.

Me too. Come, let's sit. Aarvi said and they both walks inside.

Siya said with a smile and handed the bag of book to Aarvi and then she left.
Dadi.... Ignore everything. Let's go to the kitchen, we need to prepare for the dinner. Aarvi said

At the same time, Darshil arrived with Shiv from the office.

I would have killed him. Darshil said and Shiv looked at him suspiciously
Then why did you do this? Nandini ji asked
I already said..... I loved her, I didn't wanted to lose her. I would have died without her dadi. I know, the method I chose to make her mine was wrong, but my love and intentions for her were always pure. Darshil said
Aarvi looked at him, feeling both sad and angry for him.
I won't forgive you until Aarvi forgives you. Aarvi beta, I am really sorry from Darshil's side. Please forgive us. Nandini ji said as tears rolled down her cheeks
Aarvi approaches her and wipes her tears
No dadi, don't do it. It's not your fault and..... I have already forgiven Darshil, so you also forgive him. Aarvi said and Nandini ji hugged her
