Aarvi was still sitting there, her eyes filled with fear and tears.
D... Darshil..... Please come soon. Aarvi whispered while tears flowing
He will not come until I want him to reach here. Raghav said
He will kill you once he will find you out. Aarvi said and Raghav looked at her in a serious and dark expression.
He walked close to snatched her duppata and threw it away.
Keep your mouth shut, or I won't take a second to break your beautiful face, do you get that? Raghav said in anger.
Aarvi was really scared, crying and praying to send Darshil as soon as possible.
1 hour passed and Darshil couldn't see any sign for Aarvi. Now he reached back to his office. Darshil's mind raced, as he reached his office, his heart pounding with a mixture of fear and anger.
He barked orders to his men, his voice sharp and commanding.
Gather everyone, I want eyes on every corner of this city. Use our informants, allies, everyone. I want Aarvi found right now. Darshil commanded
His men scattered, each knew the severity of this mission. Darshil then turned to Shiv.
Contact our tech team. I want every surveillance footage from every area where she was last seen again. Hack into whatever systems you need to. Darshil said
Shiv nodded and sprinted of to carry his orders.
Darshil then made a call to his trusted very old friend, who was the head of country's every underground information broker, Daksh Vardhan.
Hello Daksh, it's Darshil. I need your help. Darshil said
Hey Darshil, anything serious? Daksh asked
Much more than serious. My wife, Aarvi is kidnapped by Raghav's gang, I need your network activated. Find out where is Aarvi, I don't care what it costs. Darshil said
Consider it done. Daksh replied, his voice calm and confident.
Within an hour, Darshil's sprawling office buzzed with activities. His tech team poured over footage, analyzing every frame for clues. His soldiers swept through the city, questioning everyone who might have seen something. Daksh's network of informants spread out, their ears to the ground for any whispers of Aarvi's whereabouts.
Darshil was watching the CCTVs again again making sure, he doesn't miss anything. He paced the floor of command centre, his eyes never missing the screen.
As he saw Raghav, he cursed under his breath, frustration gnawing at him.
Shiv approached him, and saw Darshil's condition, his yearning, concern and fear for Aarvi.
Darshil, we will find her. We have the best people working on it. Shiv said
I should have protected her better. Darshil muttered, his fist clenching.
After an hour of no substantial lead, Darshil's phone buzzed and he answered it immediately. It was Daksh.
Darshil, Raghav wants to trade your wife for your territories in the east. Keep your best menat the territories also. And I have got the current location of Raghav's gang, where he has kept Aarvi. I am sending you the location, it's a warehouse on the outskirts of the city. Daksh said.
Darshil's grip on his phone tightened.
Send me everything you have on Raghav's current location and operations. We are going on it. Darshil said
With renewed determination, Darshil gathered his top lieutenants and mapped out a plan. They would strike fast and hard, using every resources of their disposal. He made another call, this time to a corrupt police chief, he had in his pocket.
Chief, I need a favour. Block off the area around the old warehouse area at the outskirts of city. No one in or out, except my men. Block all the public transports right away. Darshil said
The chief hesitated at first moment but then agreed, knowing better than to cross Darshil.
As night falls, Darshil's convoy moved towards the warehouse district. A fleet of black SUVs filled with heavy armed men.
They reached the perimeter, where the police had set up the blockade.
Darshil's men moved with precision surrounding the building. He signaled for the assault to begin.
Darshil stepped in, his presence commanding respect and fear.
They moved in formation, breaching the warehouse with millitary precision.
Inside, Darshil's team engaged with Raghav's guards, their efficiency honed by years of brutal experience. The gunfire was deafening, the fight intense, but Darshil's men were relentless.
Darshil couldn't shake the thought of Aarvi being alone and afraid. He swore to himself that he will save her, no matter the cost.
Darshil himself led the charge, his gun steady in his hand, his focus is unbreakable. He navigated through the chaos, his mind on Aarvi. As he made his way through the corridors, his eyes were searching Aarvi.
Finally, he reached the room where Aarvi was being held. He paused outside the door, taking a deep breath to steady himself. Then, he burst in, his eyes immediately locking onto Aarviâs terrified face.
Let her go, Raghav. This is between you and me. Darshil said, his eyes filled with rage.
Oh, itâs always been between us. But now, I have the upper hand. Raghav said
With a swift motion, Raghav pulled out a gun, aiming it at Aarvi. Darshilâs heart pounded, but he remained outwardly calm. Aarviâs eyes widened in terror as she saw the gun. She couldnât breathe, her heart hammering in her chest. She looked at Darshil, pleading silently for him to do something, anything.
You think a gun scares me? You think threatening her will save you? Darshil asked
Itâs not about fear, Darshil. Itâs about power. And right now, I have it. Raghav said
D.... Darshil. Aarvi said while she felt breathless for some moments.
Darshilâs eyes flicked to Aarvi, her conditions, bruises and tears made his blood boiled now. In a blur of motion, Darshil lunged at Raghav, knocking the gun from his hand. They grappled, a brutal fight ensuing. Darshilâs fury gave him strength, and he quickly overpowered Raghav, pinning him to the ground.
You made a fatal mistake, Raghav. How dare you touch my wife? You underestimated me and my love for her. Now I am going to tear you up into pieces. Darshil said
Raghav, bloodied and beaten, nodded weakly. Shiv and Darshil's men quickly subdued the remaining enemies, and the warehouse fell silent once more.
Darshil beats him hard, taking out all his frustration and anger on him making him loose his senses and consciousness. Raghav was almost dead when Darshil takes out his gun.
Darshil looked at Aarvi for a moment who was even more terrified with those fights and blood. He dragged Raghav out of that room.
I would have forgiven you if you would have kept it between us. But now, it's time for your punishment, for looking at my women. I'll make sure you won't be able to walk on your own two feets for the rest if your life. Darshil said and shoots Raghav on both his hands and legs.
Darshil quickly runs back to Aarvi and untied her and she stood up. Then he covered her with his blazer but he was still furious.
Aarvi and Darshil were staring at each other. The only difference is that his eyes are red with anger and her eyes are red with pain and tears. He couldn't bear to see this condition of her but her tears made his expression soft. He wanted to pull her into a hug and never let her go but he can't.
Darshil took a step closer to Aarvi and was about to say something but, Aarvi hugged him tightly.
Darshil was taken aback because this was the first time they were so close. His heartbeat pickup suddenly. He was trying to figure out what happened because Aarvi's one hug, made his mind blank.
Aarvi was crying while hugging. He pulled her even more close and embraced her tightly. There is a 6-inch height gap between them, which is why Darshil held her from the waist, and Aarvi's foot were no longer on the floor. She was flying through the air because Darshil held her tightly in his embrace and she buried her head on his shoulder.
Aarvi's crying turned into hiccups. She continued to cry for more 2 minutes, so he bagan rubbing her back.
Hazel, your are safe. Don't cry, it's alright. Darshil whispered softly in her ears but she didn't stopped and cried bitterly and after another 2 minutes, she was sobbing heavily. Darshil closed his eyes as he felt her pain and sobs, his eyes got wet (for the first time in years).
Please Hazel, calm down, I can't see you this way. Please for me. Darshil whispered as he continued to rub his back and caressed her hair.
P-Please d-don't l-leave m-me a-alone. Aarvi said breathlessly as she sobs heavily
I won't, I promise..... I will never leave you alone Hazel. Please calm down. Please don't cry, I can't bear to see you crying. Darshil said softly and with concern.
He tried to console her but she didn't stop, and Aarvi fainted in his embrace.
Darshil was scared and Aarvi swung in his arms, unconscious.
He could not see her condition, so he took her in his arms and carried her out of the ruins. When he noticed Shiv standing close to his car, he approached him briskly and mentioned him to open the door.
Shiv was also taken aback by Aarvi's condition but he do not say anything and opened the back seat door.
Darshil settled in the back seat of car with Aarvi in his arms and Shiv started driving.
How did she fell unconscious? Shiv asked
I don't know, she was extremely terrified. I failed to protect her. Darshil said looking at Aarvi
Don't worry, she will be alright soon. Shiv said.
Then they went to the hospital and admitted Aarvi.
The doctor was checking Aarvi and Darshil and Shiv were waiting in the hall. Darshil informed everyone at home about Aarvi and they were relieved by the thaught that Aarvi is safe.
After a while, the doctor returned to Darshil.
There is no need to be concerned, she simply fainted because shock, fear and suffocation. I saw some bruises on her face and arms, so I have treated that too.
She is fine now, if you want you can take her back. Doctor said
But Doctor, why is she still unconscious if she is fine? Darshil questioned
Don't worry Mr. Rajvanshi, you wife is fine now. She is unconscious because we have injected her, she will regain consciousness within 2 hours. That's why I told you, you can take her back home if you want. Doctor said
Alright Doctor, Thankyou so much. We are heading home with her. Darshil said
After that, he took Aarvi in his arms and they left hospital.
After 30 minutes, they reached the mansion where Nandini ji and Poorva were present.
Seeing Aarvi in Darshil's arm, both of them were tensed.
What happened to her? Is she okay? Nandini ji asked
Yes dadi, she just need rest. Let me take her to bedroom. Darshil said and walked in the room and settled her on the bed and covered her with blanket.
It was 1 a.m. when Aarvi regained consciousness.
Darshil..... Darshil..... She mumbles in fear and her eyes were still closed. Darshil looked at her and sat beside her.
Hazel..... I am right here. Darshil said and held her hand tightly.
She opened her eyes and looked at him and quickly sits up. Then she looked around and was relieved to find herself in her room.
Are you okay? Do you need something? Is it hurting anywhere? Darshil askes
She looks into his eyes and was still scared but she noticed his eyes were moist. There was a two minutes silence all around and they both were staring into each other's eyes. Her eyes were teary and his eyes were still red and moist.
You were.....crying? Aarvi asked
Darshil continued to look at her for more few seconds and then wiped her tears with another hands thumb.
I am sorry, I failed to protect you. Darshil said in a soft and concerned tone
Aarvi felt her heart melting at this words and look of Darshil.
She knew him to be rude and ruthless the look she was seeing on his face was surprising for her. His eyes, his words, his expressions were making her even more scared.
A-Are.... you o-okay? Aarvi asked
Now, I am okay. Your condition, the thought of losing you drove me crazy. I'll take more care of you from now onwards. I won't let this happen again. Darshil said
Aarvi couldn't take her eyes off his soft look and was constantly staring into his eyes and her heart skipped a beat for the first time.
Thankyou for saving me. Aarvi said fixing her gaze into his eyes.
Darshil leaned a bit more close to her.
"Maine khud ko bachaya hai" Darshil said looking into her eyes. Their eyes were locked into each others.
I.... Aarvi utters but Darshil puts his index finger on her lips softly.
Shhhh...... Don't say anything. You need rest, you lie down and try to sleep. Darshil said and then makes Aarvi lays her down and covered her with a blanket. He then sat on the couch and was watching her sleep. After some time, both of them fell asleep.
Next morning, Aarvi woke up at 8 am. As she opened her eyes, she felt someone beside her. She looked beside her only to find that Ruhi was looking at her with innocence. She sits up and saw that Poorva and Nandini ji were sitting on the couch and Darshil was nowhere in the room.
Chachi, you look like an angel while you were asleep. You know I missed you last night. Where were you? Ruhi said
Aarvi hugged her softly.
I missed you too bachha. Aarvi said
Aarvi, how are you beta? Nandini ji asked
I am fine dadi, don't worry. Aarvi said
We were really worried about you, especially bhai, thank god you are safe now. Poorva said and Aarvi smiled
Let's forget it now, it was just a nightmare for me and I don't want to recall it anymore. Aarvi said
Aarvi is right, we will not think and talk about it anymore. Aarvi is safe and is here with us...... that is enough. Nandini ji said
Darshil arrived there and looked at Aarvi.
Is everything alright? Darshil asked
Aarvi nods.
Aarvi, get freshen up quickly, we are waiting for you for breakfast. Nandini ji said
Okay dadi. Aarvi said
I will also wait for you chachi. Ruhi said with a smile and then she leaves the room with Poorva and Nandini ji and Aarvi walks to the washroom.
Darshil was sitting at the couch and was using his laptop.
Aarvi emerges from the washroom after 20 minutes and stood infront of the mirror and did her morning stuffs.
As Darshil saw her sindoor and mangalsutra, he smiles softly.
She is ruining my tough guy personality. Darshil mumbles in a very low voice and Aarvi looked at him.
Did you say something? Aarvi asked
No.... Yes.... Darshil said
What? Aarvi asked
Shall we go downstairs? Everyone must be waiting for us. Darshil said
Aarvi nodded and then both of them walks downstairs. Aarvi took her seat beside Darshil on the breakfast table.
Breakfast was a tense affair, as it often was. Darshil's grandmother and sister tried to keep the conversation light, but there was an underlying tension that was hard to ignore.
But then Ruhi's words and laughter made the conversation happy and alive.
Well Darshil, have you talked to the event manager? Nandini ji asked
Yes dadi, he will be here tomorrow at 10 and the decorations will be done according to you. Darshil said
What even? Aarvi asked
Chachi, its my birthday tomorrow. Ruhi said with a smile and Aarvi's face also lits up and she smiles.
Wow, I am so excited for my Ruhi for tomorrow. Aarvi said with a smile and as Darshil looked at Aarvi's happy face, his dull eyes shines.
Chachu, do you remember, I want chocolate cake only. Ruhi said
Yes my little princess, your chocolate cake is final. Darshil said.
After the breakfast, Darshil rose up from the table, his eyes still on Aarvi.
I have to go to office for a little while, I will be back soon. Stay safe. Darshil said and he headed for the office.
Aarvi was sitting in her room, reading a book but suddenly, a glimpse of Darshil ran into her mind. She started thinking about him and closed the book.
She recalled everything happened yesterday, she was thinking why she hugged him, why was she uttering his name.
Why am I doing this to me? Why was I so sure that Darshil will come to save me? How can I trust him, after what all he did to me. Aarvi said to herself and was roaming in the room lost in her thaughts.
She was recalling everything he did to her on the wedding day, his force, his obsession.
He saved me once but what about all those times when he made me feel my life as a hell? This forced marriage, forced relationship with him, it all makes me feel suffocated. I cannot let melt for him, this can never happen. He took away everything from me, I can never forgive him. Darshil Rajvanshi, I just hate you and you will never be able to remove this hatred. Aarvi said
