The next morning, sunlight filters through the ornate windows of their suite, casting a warm glow over the room. Aarvi is already up, preparing for the day. She was wearing a grey organza saree with full sleeve blouse as she stood in front of the mirror. She carefully drapes it and looks at herself in the mirror, adjusting her jewelry and applying a subtle touch of makeup.

As she finishes, the door to the washroom opens, and Darshil steps out, adjusting his tie. He's dressed in a sharp, formal suit, ready for the day's business meetings. He pauses mid-step, his eyes locking onto Aarvi. For a moment, he's taken aback by her beauty, feeling the same intense attraction he felt when he first saw her.

Hazel, you look stunning. Darshil said

Thankyou. Aarvi said

Saree today? Darshil asked

Yes, I saw Rajmata wearing saree so I thought, I should also wear. Aarvi said while she was picks up a thin gold chain and starts look it carefully, as it was entangled.

He walks up to her and looked at it.

What are you doing? Darshil asked

Just fixing this chain..... Aarvi said focusing on the chain

Give it to me, I'll do it for you. Darshil said

No..... I can do it myself. Aarvi said

Darshil smiles and takes the chain from her gently.

I know you can, but let me do it. Darshil said and try to fix the chain.

I've told you many times, don't interfere in my matters. Aarvi said

And I've told you many times Hazel, I don't care. I can 'interfere' as much as I like, especially when you're struggling this much just to untangle a necklace. Darshil said.

He then grabs her shoulder and turned her towards the mirror. He wrapped the chain around her neck, a smirk on his face as he placed the necklace onto her, his fingers gently brushing through her hair as he pulled it out of the way. He stood towering behind her as he watched her reflection in the mirror, an almost possessive look in his eyes.

Aarvi also looks at his reflection in the mirror.

Looks good Hazel. Suits you perfectly, just like everything else I've given you. Darshil said

Aarvi's gaze was still fixed on him.

Shall we go now? Aarvi asked

Yes..... Rakshit and his family must be waiting. Darshil said

They head downstairs, ready for breakfast. The dining hall is already bustling with activity. Rakshit and his family are seated at the long table, engaging in light conversation. The table is laden with an array of traditional Rajasthani breakfast dishes.

Good morning, Darshil, Aarvi. I hope you slept well. Rakshit said

Good morning, Rakshit. Yes, we did. Thank you. Darshil said

Good morning, everyone. Aarvi said with a smile

They take their seats, and servants quickly serve them a variety of dishes - poha, kachoris, and fresh fruits.

I hope you enjoy our traditional breakfast, Aarvi. It's a small taste of Rajasthan's culinary delights. Rajmata said kindly

It looks wonderful, Rajmata. Thank you. Aarvi said with a polite smile

As they start eating, the conversation turns to lighter topics. Rakshit shares stories from his travels and experiences as the king, making everyone laugh with his wit.

After the breakfast, Darshil and Aarvi were in the courtyard when they hear the sound of a car pulling up outside.

Darshil, Aarvi, you're about to get a surprise. Rakshit said walking towards them.

Before Darshil can respond, a tall, charismatic man strides into the courtyard. His face lights up with excitement as he sees Darshil and Rakshit.

Daksh, you old rascal! It's about time you showed up. Darshil said with a huge smile.

The two men embrace warmly, their camaraderie evident. Aarvi watches with a smile, feeling the infectious energy of the reunion.

Daksh, you never could resist an invitation to a good time, could you? Rakshit said with a smile

And miss out on a chance to see you two after all these years? Not a chance. Daksh said grinning

Aarvi stands up, and Darshil gestures toward her.

Daksh, meet Aarvi, my wife. Darshil said

Daksh's expression softens as he turns to Aarvi, bowing slightly in a playful, exaggerated manner.

The pleasure is all mine, Aarvi. It's a wonder how Darshil managed to convince such a lovely lady to marry him! Daksh said

Aarvi laughs, appreciating his lightheartedness.

Thank you, Daksh. It's great to meet you. Aarvi said with a smile

The morning continues with laughter and stories, the three college friends reminiscing about their days at Harvard. Aarvi and Anshika listens, enjoying the banter and feeling more at ease as she sees a different side of Darshil-one that is more relaxed and joyful.

Remember the time Rakshit got lost in the middle of New York after a party? We had to search half the city for him! Daksh said

And who was it that led the search party? You, Daksh, with a terrible sense of direction. We almost ended up in New Jersey! Rakshit said

Darshil laughs off.

So, what's the plan for today? How about we show Aarvi and Daksh the real Jaipur? Rakshit asked leaning back on his chair

Absolutely! I haven't been to Jaipur in years. Let's explore! Daksh said in excitement.

Sounds like a plan. Hazel, are you up for it? Darshil asked

Definitely. I'd love to see more of the city. Aarvi said

The group sets out for the day, their spirits high. They start their journey in a fleet of luxurious cars, but soon decide to switch to a more traditional mode of transport-a decorated elephant that Rakshit arranged for them. Aarvi is initially nervous but soon finds herself enjoying the ride, especially with Anshika and Darshil, her apprehension replaced by excitement.

Their first stop is the Amber Fort, an imposing structure that looms majestically over the city. As they walk through the fort's vast courtyards and beautifully decorated chambers, Daksh amd Anshika takes on the role of the unofficial tour guide, narrating exaggerated stories of ancient battles and royal escapades, making everyone laugh.

And here, my friends, is where the King supposedly fought off an entire army single-handedly! Or at least, that's what the tour guides want you to believe. Daksh said while grinning

You haven't changed at all, Daksh. Still full of tall tales. Rakshit said

At least he's making it interesting. Darshil said with a smirk

Aarvi, captivated by the fort's beauty and the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, occasionally sneaks glances at Darshil, noticing how he seems lighter, more at ease in the company of his old friends.

Next, they visit the Hawa Mahal, the famous Palace of Winds. The intricate facade fascinates Aarvi, and she marvels at the countless tiny windows that allowed the royal ladies to observe the city without being seen.

It's so beautiful. Imagine what it must have been like to live here. Aarvi said completely awed by the beauty.

Indeed. The architecture is designed to let the breeze flow through, keeping the palace cool even in the scorching summer. Anshika said

But I bet the queens were more interested in the gossip they could overhear from up here. Daksh said teasingly

They all share a laugh, enjoying the lighthearted atmosphere.

We should visit the local markets after this. Aarvi, you'll love the jewelry and textiles here. Jaipur's bazaars are world-famous! Anshika said

Yes let's go. Aarvi said

Aarvi is drawn to the colorful textiles, the glittering jewelry, and the intricate handicrafts. She and Anshika, bond over picking out bangles and trying on traditional Rajasthani dupattas.

Aarvi, you have to try this one. It's stunning! Anshika said in excitement

You're right! It's beautiful. Aarvi said

Darshil watches with a smile as Aarvi haggles playfully with a shopkeeper, her eyes shining with excitement.

She's fitting in quite well, isn't she? Darshil said to Rakshit and Daksh

She's got a good heart, Darshil. It's nice to see you two enjoying yourselves. Rakshit said

Darshil, you're going to need a second suitcase just for Aarvi's shopping! Daksh said

As long as she's happy, Daksh. Anything to keep her smiling. Darshil said, fixing his gaze on Aarvi

The day culminates in a visit to Jal Mahal, the Water Palace. As the sun sets, the palace appears to float on the tranquil waters of Man Sagar Lake. The group takes a boat ride around the palace, the golden hues of the sunset reflecting off the water, creating a magical ambiance.

Shall we go back to palace? We have a party going to start in 2 hours. Rakshit said

Party? Daksh asked

Yeah, it's a welcome party for my dear friends and his beautiful wife. Let's go now. Rakshit said

The group returns to the palace, feeling the satisfying tiredness that comes from a day well spent. They each head to their suites to freshen up for the evening's party.

Today was amazing. I didn't expect to have so much fun. Aarvi said

I'm glad, Aarvi. You looked so happy. I loved seeing you enjoy yourself. Darshil said

The grand ballroom of the palace has been transformed into an elegant setting for the western-themed welcome party. The room is bathed in soft, golden light from crystal chandeliers, and the polished marble floor gleams underfoot. Long tables draped in rich fabrics line the walls, covered in gourmet delicacies and sparkling drinks. The air is filled with the gentle hum of conversation, the clinking of glasses, and the soft strains of live jazz music playing in the background.

Guests are dressed in their finest western attire - men in tailored suits and women in glamorous evening gowns. The atmosphere is one of sophistication and celebration, with an air of anticipation as everyone waits for the evening to unfold.

Darshil stands near the entrance, looking impeccable in a black tuxedo, chatting with Rakshit and Daksh as they sip their drinks. They're all in good spirits, reminiscing about their college days, but Darshil's attention is divided. He keeps glancing towards the staircase, waiting for Aarvi to make her entrance.

You seem a little distracted, Darshil. Expecting someone? Daksh asked in a teasing tone

Just waiting for Aarvi. Darshil said

She will come with Anshika. I'm sure she'll make an entrance worth waiting for. Rakshit said

As if on cue, Aarvi appears at the top of the grand staircase. She's wearing a stunning black dress that clings to her figure in all the right places, the fabric shimmering subtly with each step she takes. The dress is elegant yet daring, with a deep neckline and a thigh-high slit that adds a touch of drama. Her long brown hair is styled in soft waves that cascade over her shoulders, and she wears a pair of sparkling earrings that catch the light as she moves.

As Aarvi descends the staircase, she notices the room growing quieter, with many eyes turning towards her. But her gaze is fixed on Darshil, whose eyes are locked on her with an intensity she's never seen before. His heart skips a beat, the breath catching in his throat as he takes in her beauty.

Breath..... Darshil.... Breath. Darshil murmured to himself fixing his gaze on Aarvi.

Rakshit and Daksh exchange amused glances as they notice Darshil's reaction.

If you keep staring like that, you'll scare her away. Daksh whispers in Darshil's ears.

Or maybe she'll realize just how much she's gotten under your skin. Rakshit said

Darshil doesn't respond, his focus entirely on Aarvi as she reaches the bottom of the staircase. She smiles at him, a little shy but pleased by the effect she's having on him.

Is this okay? Anshika has chosen this dress for me. Aarvi asked him

You've done more than that, Hazel. You've taken my breath away. Darshil said

Aarvi's cheeks flush slightly at his words, but she feels a warmth spread through her. Darshil's sincerity is clear, and for the first time, she feels a genuine connection between them.

As the evening progresses, the music shifts to a more lively tempo, and the dance floor comes alive with couples swaying to the rhythm. A professional salsa band takes the stage, and the lead singer invites everyone to join in for a salsa dance.

Alright, everyone, it's time to heat things up! Who's up for some salsa? Rakshit asked

Count me in! But first, let's see Darshil and Aarvi show us how it's done. Daksh said

Darshil, emboldened by the evening's mood, extends his hand to Aarvi with a smile.

Shall we? Darshil asked

Aarvi hesitates for just a moment, then takes his hand, letting him lead her onto the dance floor. The music picks up, a lively salsa rhythm that pulses through the room. Darshil places one hand on Aarvi's waist and the other holds her hand as they begin to move to the music.

They fall into step together, moving in perfect harmony.

Aarvi looks straight into his eyes.

He smirked as he twirled her and pulled her close again, his gaze locked on her eyes, as they wandered over her beautiful face, almost as if he was trying to burn the image of her being in his arms in his memory forever. He continued to sway to the music, one hand still on her hip, the other on your lower back, his body still pressed up against hers.

As he pulled her close, their eyes locked, and faces just few centimeters away.

Aarvi felt a strange rush of emotion at this closeness and closed her eyes for a moment.

He watched as she closed her eyes, his smirk slowly transforming into a smile as he continued to sway with her. He slowly bent his head down, slowly bringing his lips right up next to her ear, leaning in so closely that his breath was tickling her skin.

Hazel, open your eyes and look at me... Darshil said softly

Aarvi opened her eyes and looked at his eyes.

Darshil leaned in more, his face millimeters away from hers, his lips almost touching hers as

Hazel, your eyes are so beautiful...Darshil spoke in a quiet, seductive voice

Darshil smirks and pulls her even more close. His arms wrapped around her, holding her against his body, as he continued to hold her almost possessively, as if marking her as his, as if letting every single guy who was looking at her know that she belonged to him.

As they spin and twirl, the energy between them becomes electric, and for those few moments, the rest of the world fades away. The guests cheer and clap as Darshil lifts Aarvi into a graceful spin, and they finish the dance with a flourish.

That was incredible! You two make a great team. Daksh clapped and said

Agreed. You've set the bar high for the rest of us.

Darshil and Aarvi return to the table, slightly breathless but exhilarated from the dance. The rest of the evening continues with more dancing, laughter, and light-hearted conversation. Aarvi finds herself relaxing more and more, enjoying the company of Rakshit, Anshika, and Daksh. She even joins Anshika in a playful debate about fashion, while Darshil listens with a smile, content to see Aarvi so engaged and happy.

So, Aarvi, what do you think? Could you see Darshil in something a little more colorful? Anshika asked

I think he'd look great in anything, but I wouldn't mind seeing him step out of his comfort zone. Aarvi said

Darshil raises an eyebrow.

I'll consider it, but only if you pick it out. Darshil said

As the party begins to wind down, Darshil and Aarvi step out onto the balcony to get some fresh air. The night is cool and calm, the city lights of Jaipur twinkling in the distance.

Aarvi and Darshil walks back to their room. Darshil closed the door behind him and instantly backed her against the wall. He continued to hold her against the wall and smirked as he looked down at her, his gaze slowly roaming over her body in form-fitting black dress.

Have I ever mentioned how sexy you look in that black dress, Hazel...? Darshil said

S.... So what? Aarvi asked

Darshil smirked and chuckled at her response, continuing to look over her body. He brought a hand up to caress her face, his eyes still roving over her body.

You don't know how hard it was to not just take you right then and there in the party. Darshil said

What do you mean? Aarvi asked

Darshil let out a scoff. He brought his other hand up, now cupping both sides of her face, his eyes still looking at her hungrily.

You have no idea how many of my friends were eyeing you...I almost got in a fight with a couple of them...the dumbasses couldn't keep their eyes off of my wife.... Darshil said

Aarvi was completely lost in his eyes, she tried hard to look away but she couldn't look away.

Aren't you tired? Aarvi asked

Not after looking you. Darshil said

I need to change now. Aarvi said and walked in the washroom.

Aarvi has changed into a simple nightgown, a stark contrast to the elegant black dress she wore earlier. She looks at herself in the mirror, brushing her hair absentmindedly, her thoughts still lingering on the evening's events. Her heart is racing, not from the dance or the laughter, but from the way Darshil had looked at her all night - with a mixture of admiration and something deeper that she couldn't quite place.

Darshil, dressed in a pair of casual pajamas, is sitting on the bed, lost in thought. The evening had been perfect, almost too perfect, and now the reality of being alone with Aarvi in the quiet of the night is setting in. He watches her as she moves about the room, his gaze soft and contemplative.

Aarvi finally sets down the brush and walks over to the bed, hesitating for a moment before sitting down beside him. The bed dips slightly under her weight, and she can feel the warmth of Darshil's body close to hers.

Are you tired? Darshil asked

Not really. Just... thinking. Aarvi said

Darshil turns slightly to face her, his eyes searching hers. There's a vulnerability in her expression that he hasn't seen before, and it makes his heart ache with a mixture of desire and protectiveness.

About what? Darshil asked

About tonight... and us. Aarvi said softly

She steals a glance at Darshil, who is sitting quietly beside her, his eyes focused on her. There's something in his gaze that makes her pulse quicken. It's as if all the walls he usually keeps up have melted away, leaving only the raw, unfiltered emotion that he rarely shows.

Darshil reaches out, his hand brushing against hers, a simple gesture that sends a shiver down her spine.

Aarvi's breath catches in her throat as she looked into his eyes.

She shifts slightly, turning to face him more fully. As she does, their knees brush against each other, sending a small jolt of electricity through her.

Aarvi notices how Darshil's gaze lingers on her face, tracing the curve of her cheek, the arch of her brow, and finally settling on her lips. She swallows, her breath hitching slightly as she realizes the intensity of his focus. There's something magnetic about the way he's looking at her, something that makes it impossible for her to look away.

Hazel..... Darshil whispers

His voice sends a shiver down her spine. Aarvi feels herself drawn to him, unable to fight the pull. She can see the desire in his eyes, can feel it in the way his body subtly leans towards hers. It's like there's a force between them, pushing them together, erasing the space that has always existed.

And then, almost without thinking, Aarvi closes the distance between them. Her eyes flutter shut as her lips brush against his in a soft, tentative kiss, a soft kiss.
