KRIKIKIKIKIKEEEEEEEE!!!

The massive ten meter tall spider emitted a weird and creepy sound before attacking them wildly with its massive front feet!

SLASH! SLASH!

“SUMMON THE MAMMOTHS!” Brock roared as he barely dodged a powerful attack from the spider! Being the largest of the group, the spider focused on attacking him first.

“I can’t! The skill is still on cooldown! They’ll be ready in’¦ five minutes!” Elliot shouted as he darted close to the spider and roared!

GRAHH! Primal Roar! The spider merely froze for a split second before smashing its body down on Elliot!

Elliot’s incredible 6th sense and instincts allowed him to escape the attack with the smallest of margins.

“FIVE MINUTES? THIS BATTLE WILL BE OVER IN ONE MINUTE!” Brock roared as he threw his large frame at the spider’s front leg.

CRACK!!

Brock’s weight managed to break its front leg!

“Huh? Why is it so weak?” Brock asked in surprise. He didn’t expect such a huge and solid looking leg would break so easily!

KRIKIKIKIKIKEEEEEE!!!!

The spider shrieked in pain and glared at Brock with its many disgusting eyes. Brock looked at its seriously ugly face and roared in defiance!

SPRAY!!

A jet of white silk shot out from the giant spider’s rear which had bent 180 degrees to face forward, and hit the roaring Brock straight on his body!

Brock was flung slightly backwards by the force of the silk jet and he was immediately covered with the sticky spider silk!

“I CAN’T MOVE!” Brock bellowed in Elliot’s mind.

“Hang in there, we’ll get you out once we kill this freak!” Elliot shouted as he leapt at the spider’s other front leg in his Black Bear Warrior form which, although was not yet as big as Brock, was Elliot’s largest and heaviest beast form.

However, the spider had learnt its lesson, and immediately moved to avoid Elliot’s attack.

Slash! Winter had managed to flank the spider and leap attacked from the side! She landed on top of the spider and began to slash at it wildly!

Rex had followed Winter’s lead and she too managed to land on top of the spider!

“Ellie can’t reach! Ellie can’t attack!” Ellie cried out sadly as it ran around the spider, looking for a place she could sink her teeth on! She tried to attack the spider’s legs, but the spider was moving too fast for her.

“Ellie, attack the exposed front leg which I broke just now! Your poison could kill it!” Brock told her mentally.

“Yes! Ellie attack broken leg! Ellie attack now!” Ellie charged directly and eagerly across the battlefield and towards the spider’s broken front leg.

Because it was broken, the spider didn’t have much use for it, so it was merely dangling there. Ellie immediately pounced and sank her venomous teeth into it!

KRIKIKIK’¦

The spider suddenly froze. And then it collapsed with a loud BOOM!

[Ellie has gained 5 levels and reached level 45 for killing a level 101 Elite Giant Mutated Brood Mother.]

[Rex has gained 2 levels and reached level 42 for killing a level 101 Elite Giant Mutated Brood Mother.]

[Brock has gained 1 level and reached level 78 for killing a level 101 Elite Giant Mutated Brood Mother.]

“Huh? It’s dead already?” Elliot muttered in slight surprise. “It sure is a glass cannon. Powerful attack but ridiculously weak defenses. Ellie, well done! You did very well this time!”

“Ellie did well! Presents?” Ellie glanced at Elliot slyly.

“Presents!” Elliot was happy to oblige. “But later alright?”

“Presents!” Ellie squealed happily.

“Err, yes yes. Glass cannon. Presents of Ellie. Good! Now, will someone free me from this web please!” Brock said loudly within their shared mindspace.

“Ellie help gramps! Grrrr’¦ Grrrrr’¦ Can’t. Ellie no strong.” Ellie shook her head sadly and sat next to Brock’s body which was fully covered in silk from head to toe.

“Winter? Little Master? A little help here?”

“Injured my paw attacking the spider just now. Have to clean it up first.” Winter replied coolly with a wide, teethy smile as she leapt down from the top of the dead spider and landed nimbly on her fully healthy paws.

“Little Master? Rex?”

REX! SLASH! SLASH! NO REX! Rex frowned and sat next to Ellie after slashing at the silk half heartedly.

Elliot grinned at the poor Black Bear Lord being bullied by his teammates and finally moved to help him.

Slash! A single powerful slash from his Black Bear Warrior split the silk cocoon in half and immediately freed Brock.

“Ahhh freedom! Damn that stupid stinking silk! It smelled really bad!” Brock jumped up and immediately complained. “It smelled so bad that I probably can’t get it out of my system for a full week!”

“Whiner.” Winter chuckled as she sat down on her haunches and waited patiently for Elliot’s next command.

“It’s really smelly! I am not lying! Here little Master, you smell it!” Brock shoved his body towards Elliot to allow him to smell the silk.

“Enough! Enough! Stay away from me!” Elliot shouted as he pushed Brock away with all his might. “I can smell it from here! In fact’¦”

Elliot stopped for a moment and then transformed into his Primal Feline Warrior form.

He lifted his nose and sniffed the air.

“In fact, I can smell more of that silk’¦ in that direction! Come on! We might be able to rescue her victims before they die!” Elliot shouted and immediately dashed deeper into the forest.

He followed the scent of the stinky silk and very soon reached a big cave.

“This must be its lair.” Elliot said to himself and quickly entered it.

A wave of stinky silk smell immediately rushed at him, nearly causing him to gag. “The Primal Feline Warrior’s weakness is definitely smell attack.” Elliot muttered as he tried to breath as little as possible.

Very soon, he reached a large cavern in the interior of the cave and saw many cocoons hanging from the ceiling.

It was a creepy and horrible sight.

All of the cocoons were human sized, and they were all motionless.

Except for one, which was shaking this way and that way violently.

A survivor!
