VAL'S POV
"Sei sicura di voler uscire, principessa?" My dad asked over the call.
Right now, it was in the afternoon, and I was in my room readying myself for the party.
T:Are you sure you want to go out, princess?
"Sì papà , è solo una festa, non mi verrà fatto alcun male, lo giuro. Non preoccuparti, okay, " I said.
T:Yes, dad, it's just a party, I won't get hurt, I swear. Don't worry, okay
"Ok, porta con te due guardie," he said.
T:Ok, take two guards with you
"Papà , è una festa, non posso avere guardie che mi seguono, probabilmente spaventerebbe tutti. Non voglio sembrare fuori posto, per favore capisci, per favore"
T:Dad, it's a party, I can't have guards following me. It would probably scare everyone. I don't want to look out of place. Please understand, please
"Ci sarà anche quel ragazzo, Emilio?"he asked.
T:There will also be that boy, Emilio?
"Sì, probabilmente," I said.
T:Yes, probably.
"Okay, allora puoi andartene senza le guardie, ma assicurati di rimanere nel campo visivo di Emilio," he said.
T:Okay, so you can leave without the guards, but make sure you stay in Emilio's line of sight.

T:Just do what I tell you, then I'll be sure you're safe.
"Ok papà , ciao, ti voglio bene," I said, then dropped the call.
T:Ok dad, bye, I love you
I checked the time on my phone and it was 530pm. I wonder why Eve is late, she is was supposed to pick me up at 5 pm.
I took my purse and went downstairs.
"Oh, I didn't know that you were going to the party too." Hayley, who was already downstairs and looked like she was about to leave, said.
"Well, as you can see, I am going," I said
"Yeah, please don't ruin my day, huh, that will be so good if you could do that," she said, then opened the front door and left.

"Where is Charlotte?" I asked Marian
"She went out a few hours ago," she said
Yeah, right, that's Charlotte for you.
After an hour of standing inside the leaving room, the door bell rang.
It's probably Eve, so I went to open the door.
"Look who decided to show up. Do you even know what time it is? It's 630pm, you were supposed to pick me up at 5pm. "
"I'm sorry, okay? I was occupied with something, " she said
"What was it?" I asked her.
"That doesn't matter anymore. Let's go, party, babe." she pulled towards her car.
We got inside and set off to Melissa's house, where the party was held.

3RD POV
The party was already in full swing when Val and Eve arrived. They pushed open the heavy wooden doors of the grand hall, revealing a sea of people laughing, chatting, and swaying to the music. No heads turned as they stepped inside, their arrival blending seamlessly into the rhythm of the evening. Some were making out, others were smoking and stuff.
Val adjusted her crimson dress and looked at Eve, her dark-haired best friend, who wore a simple yet striking sky-blue dress. "Looks lively," Val remarked, scanning the room.
"Perfect vibe," Eve replied with a grin. "Let's grab a drink first."
The two made their way to the bar. Eve ordered a mojito, while Val opted for a classic cosmopolitan. They clinked their glasses and took a sip, letting the music wash over them. The bartender smiled at their casual charm as they exchanged light banter.
"Shall we?" Eve said, motioning toward the dance floor.
They wove through the crowd, finding a spot amidst the lively dancers. The beat was infectious, and soon, they were moving with ease, their bodies in sync with the music. Val twirled playfully, her golden curls catching the dim lights, while Eve's sharp, deliberate movements turned dancing into an art form.
"You've still got those moves!" Eve teased, watching Val break into a carefree laugh.
"You're not so bad yourself," Val shot back, spinning to face her.
The night unfolded naturally. They joined a group at a nearby table, where they played card games and exchanged stories, their laughter adding to the hum of the room. They weren't the loudest or most extravagant guests, but their presence was warm and magnetic.
At one point, Eve disappeared briefly, returning with two glasses of champagne. "To us," she toasted, "and to nights like this."
Val smiled and raised her glass. "To many more."
"Oh, look at that young man staring at me." Eve smirked. "I'm coming, alright?" she said, asking Val for permission.
"Yeah, sure, wait, is that the boy you are going to?" Val asked, looking at Lucian, who was staring at her friend.
"Yes, you know him?" Eve asked.
"Kind of, okay, you may go," she said.
After Eve left, Adrian came to sit next to Val.
"Hey," he said.
"Hi," Val said.
"You look... stunning," he said. He can't believe that he actually falls for her at first sight. I mean, it's been a long time since he has ever dated anyone. He loves her now, and he wants to make her his girlfriend. Of course, Val didn't know what Adrian was thinking.
"Thank you,"
"You're welcome. So wanna dance together?" Adrian asked as he stood up and put her hand forward for Val.
"Um... I'm sorry, but I can't. I want to go look for someone, " Val said.
"Who? You mean that girl you came with?" he asked.
"No, I mean Emilio, you know him, right?" he looked at her shocked.
"You mean Emilio as in my friend?" he asked, trying to be sure.
"Yeah, you probably know where he is. Could you tell me?"
"You know him? How long have you known him? Are you the girl he went out with on a date a few days ago?" he was shocked.
"Yes, so will you tell me where he is?"
'This can't be, I love her, she has to be my girlfriend, I'm sorry Emilio, I'm about to do something crazy right now,' Adrian thought
"Okay, wait here for a minute, right now I don't know where he is, so I will ask someone for you. Just stay here." he said and left.
"Britney, hey," Adrian said to a girl who was chatting with her friends.
When the girls around Britney saw Adrian, they began to blush shyly.
"Oh my God, he is so handsome," one of the girls said.
"Can I have a word with you for a second?" Adrian said and looked at the girls who were with Britney. Britney got the hint and told the girls to leave them alone for a while.
Britney is the girl who has a crush on Emilio, the one who is in the same music class as Adrian and Val. Her family is quite reputable and respected. Her parents are business people just like Adrian and Jayden's parents, that's why they know her a lot.
"Okay, what do you want, Adrian?" Britney asked him.
"You love Emilio, right?" he asked
"Of course, I'm pretty sure everyone in our school knows that. Why are you saying that?"
"Look, right now Emilio is in the third room upstairs. He was with Jayden when I left, but I bet right now Jayden has left, so he is all alone," he said.
"So?" Britney said
"I know this might sound crazy but I want you to go upstairs and seduce him with all your might," Adrian said.
"Your offer sounds tempting, Rian, but I love myself alive. You know how Emilio is," she said.
"He won't do anything to you," Adrian said, but he knew he was lying.
"You're not even sure yourself. Why do you even want to do this anyway? He is your friend, "
"Yes, he is my friend, that's why I want him to relax a little bit. He is always stressed," he lied again
"But if you don't want to, it's okay, I will just find a new girl," he said and was about to leave.
"Wait. I will do it, " Britney said.
"Good, here is what you're going to do..." he told her his plan, and Britney agreed.
"Don't lock the door, go now," he said, then left back to where Val was.
"You know where he is now?" Val asked him
"Yep, I know where he is. Let's go, shall we?" he gave her a smile, and Val nodded,
Adrian led her upstairs to the room where Emilio was.
'I'm really sorry, Emilio,' he thought
