Episode 131
Side Story 1. Summer Vacation (4)
âIs the bed broken?â
I didnât fully understand Claytonâs words until about three seconds later.
Clink.
When I fully understood the meaning, I heard the glass breaking.
âWha, what?â
Cassius, whose face turned red, asked Clayton with a look as if he was talking about something crazy.
The glass he had just held in his hand fell to the floor and shattered.
âYou donât have to tell me, but I know everything!â
I shouted out loud when I saw Clayton pouring out his words.
âClayton, wait, I think youâre misunderstanding something, butâ¦â¦.â
âHow can I not know that when I heard such a loud thump in the Duke and His Majestyâs bedroom?â
Clayton talking with excitement without even listening to me, made me lose my mind.
âWe shouldnât have played like that yesterdayâ¦â¦.â
The source of the trouble was that I couldnât control my excitement at the thought of making fun of Cassius.
It was a little noisy, but I only ran and rolled a few times on the bed, but I didnât know I would get misunderstood.
âNo, I didnât mean to, but Iâm sure I played soundly than anyone else?â.â
I rolled my eyes slightly and gave Cassius a ridiculous look.
âExcuse me. I just told you the truth.â
âIt only seems to me that youâre making excuses.â
He shook his head and gave strength to his voice as if he was frustrated.
âWho was the one who overworked my body last night in a very violent movement?â
With that word, Cassiusâs pathetic face, which had been maintained through acting, collapsed in a heartbeat.
âOh, wait, Yerine, thatâs a littleâ¦â¦.â
âTo the extent of breaking the bed, to the point where the ceiling of the first floor feels like itâs going to break. Who did that?â
âWait, donât keep pushing me with the word âviolentâ! I feel like Iâve become a bad guy for no reason!â
Cassius stepped back with two hands and two feet, but it was not me to quit here.
I approached the man, who was slowly backing away and shouted in a confident voice.
âThatâs weird, it was definitely Cassius who pushed me out of my mind last night.â
âStop, pleaseâ¦â¦.â
He looked at me with his eyes as if his soul were broken and begged me with his hands facing each other.
Only then did I step back and smile satisfactorily.
âWhat can we do? Now everyone thinks Cassius really did something wrong to me.â
âYes, it is.â
âSo shouldnât you pretend to be carrying me around in front of others at least?â
âOkay, youâre asking me to carry you on my back in exchange for making you overwork last night?â
âYes, if itâs the king of the country then it would be the best ride ever.â
âOkay, I can carry you on my back.â
âNo, donât carry me on your back but hold me up instead. I canât see the flowers well if you carry me on your back.â
Cassius looked slightly surprised when I said so.
âYou didnât say that kind of embarrassing thing back in the day. Youâve changed, Yerine.â
âWho made me change?â
âAre you saying itâs because of me again?â
Cassius said, drooping his eyebrows as if it was unfair.
âNo, so who else do I learn that from beside Cassius? Thereâs no one who says that to me other than Cassius.â
âIâm fine today. Iâm not ashamed at all.â
âReally?â
Cassius held his face close and asked persistently.
âIâm really going to stay like this until the afternoon.â
âSureâ¦.â
âEven if you ask me to drop you off, I will never drop you off, and I will walk to the hallway where all the users are gathered.â
âWait, thatâs a bitâ¦â¦.â
I tried to break away from Cassiusâ grip, but it didnât work.
It was difficult to remove that stone-like arm without magic.
âWhy? You said itâs okay today, Yerine.â
When I saw his face, I thought I had lost.
âIf you donât like it, I canât help it. I have to use another method.â
Looking down at me, who was shy away from talking, Cassius opened his mouth.
âNo, I donât want to hear that.â
âReally? Then I should speak louder.â
Cassius, who lightly retorted my words, said with his playful gold eyes.
âIf you donât want to walk around in front of others like that, itâs hard to walk in the garden, isnât it?â
âWhat the hell do you want to talk about?â
Cassius grinned at my question.
âItâs impossible to go out because Clayton said both the Dukeâs legs shouldnât touch the ground all day.â
âThen should I stay indoors all the time?â
Cassius nodded with a big smile as if he had the right answer.
âYes, so letâs stay in bed all day.â
âHey, that would be so boring, how can I do that?â
I could hear Cassius laughing above my head.
When I looked up at Cassius, he whispered in my ear, bending his golden eyes softly like a crescent moon.
âYou donât remember last night, do you?â
The moment I heard it, my body froze.
âI can make you feel intense all day long without being bored.â
Immediately, the whole face was engulfed in the hot heat, and I screamed, hitting Cassiusâs chest with all my strength.
âArgh! Are you crazy, really?â
Cassius, however, remained undaunted and steadfast.
Rather, he smiled so relaxedly that I was even angrier.
âYouâre into playing around, arenât you? Crazy, seriously!â
âWell, if you donât like it, I canât help it. As Clayton said, Iâll walk around the villa like this all day.â
âLet go of me! Ohâ¦â¦really!â
After that, Cassius didnât really let me go for about an hour.
Until I used water magic and splashed it on him.

âThank you for coming. Iâll show you the way.â
A woman dressed in a neat green dress stood at the front door of the villa, which was secretly hidden in the forest.
âThank you.â
The womanâs voice toward Chester was as warm as the sun.
Like the climate in the south.
âNo, this is nothing.â
Chester replied, glancing at the red hair waving in the wind.
Then he opened the door and took the noblewoman into the villa, and once again bowed his head at her.
âWelcome, Duke Jacqueline.â
The sky blue eyes of the woman who stepped into the villa looking for her friend in the voice sparkled like a star.
