she smiled once she noticed the girls at the outside kitchen island with the glass cups filled with champagne

"hello" joy said shyly while waving at the girls who noticed her coming near her

"oh my gosh hiii I'm leah" one of the girls said introducing their selves

"what's your name?" one girl with brownkskin said

"I'm joy" joy said

"wait where are you from?" one of the other girls with blonde hair said

"I'm from california" joy said

"wait what part" one of the thick lighter skin girls said

"Los Angeles?" the brownskinned girl spoke guessing

"oh alrighttt" leah said excitedly

"yes" joy chuckled

"your is so cute" one of the girls with the blonde hair said

"thank you what's your guys is names?" Joy said as they started walking towards the kitchen island

"I'm jana"

"my name is kaylor"

"you already know my name I'm leah!"

"hannah"

"wait am i the last girl?" joy said making all the girls shrug their shoulders

"i think so" jana said

the girls all stood there at the kitchen island while they poured champagne in their glass cups

joy sat on one of the stools drinking out of the cup she held in her hand

"so what's your type joy?" hannah said

"like honestly I really don't have a type if I think your a good person then I'm willing to give that typa person a chance" joy explained while the girls nodded their heads

"do you get attached fast?" jana said making joy nod her head slowly

"mhm I get attached easily I think I'm like a easy person I don't know how to explain it" joy said then scoffed then covering her face with her hands making the other girls look at her in aw

"I can just tell your a sensitive shy person" kaylor said

"oh my gosh yes" joy said

"it's okay cause I am too" leah said while she pointed at herself

"no cause seriously i cannot believe we're gonna be sleeping with boys tonight" jana said making all the other girls agree

"it's gonna seem so weird" joy said

"no it's not don't say that it's gonna be so cute hopefully we get good looking boys tho" hannah said

"oh my gosh yes i love me a handsome looking boy that's actually nice too cause I don't like no mean person that's a complete turn off" joy said

"what's everybody's zodiac sign" leah said

"I'm a leo im a triple leo my whole big three is all leo" leah said

"I'm a sagittarius" jana smiled making joy nod her head immediately

"wait can you elaborate cause everyone hates pisces and I never dealt with a pisces before" leah said

the girls continued to have a conversation getting to know eachother until they heard a voice

"hey ladies!" they heard snapping their heads seeing the female host with blonde hair in a gold dress

the girls screamed excitedly and stood up running towards the host

"oh my gosh you guys look unbelievably unreal" ariana the host said as she hugged each of them

"ariana is nice to meet you" kaylor said

"you are so bad ass" leah said

"i need to get a glass of champagne and catch up to you guys" ariana said as she started walking towards the kitchen

the girls followed behind her while they talked about how gorgeous she was

they finally walked towards the kitchen island while ariana popped the lid off the champagne

"you guys are absolutely stunning!" ariana said making the girls cheer

she started pouring some more champagne into the girls cups

"alright ladies let's cheer to love island twenty twenty four!" ariana said as they raised their glasses

the girls cheered then drunk out their cups slowly putting it down

"oh my gosh i cannot wait to learn every single thing about all of you" ariana said

the girls smiled and clapped their hands excitedly while the host started to speak

they decided to go to the fire pit to have a conversation with the host sitting right next to eachother while they sparked up their conversation

"I got some very very hot guys coming for you" ariana said

"thank you!" leah said

"oh my gosh yes" joy said

"first things first are we all here looking for love or a good time?" ariana said

"I'm definitely looking for love I'm tired of being alone cause everytime I find someone I'm either too sweet for them or boring" joy said

"yeah I kinda just wanna skipped the boyfriend part and then go straight to marriage if that's possible" jana said

"just skip to the end" ariana said

"damn calm down girl" hannah said

"I'm single because every man I find tries to settle me down like I can't have a guy that just wants to keep in the house I'm a crazy partier I just need a guy who's my biggest cheerleader" kaylor said

"obviously ima know what I like when they come in but I'm trying to get away from the fuck boys I just wanna meet a fine man that's not a fuck boy" hannah said

"mhm" all the girls said agreeing with her

"It's like I get in trouble with that because nothing ever comes out of it but like if I just look at you then that's what I like" hannah said then chuckled

"there's gonna be someone for everyone" ariana said

"yes we definitely love that" joy chuckled nervously

"This is gonna be amazing and I'm so excited to get to know all of you not just tonight but throughout this entire summer being on this journey with you thank you so much for letting me be apart of it!" ariana said nicely

"aww" joy said

"it's gonna be so fun and I got y'all's back" ariana said

"thank you so much and I know and I know girl" kaylor said

"we got your back too don't worry" joy said making all the girls agree

"call us" jana said

"okay girls is time to get ready for what will hopefully be unforgettable summer of love" ariana said

the girls all started to cheer nervously but mostly joy who was nervous off her ass

"last question from me.. are you guys ready to meet the boys?" ariana said

"bring em out!!" hannah yelled excitedly

"bring all the boys out" joy said

"well here they come" ariana said waving her hand at hall

the girls screamed and cheer excitedly waiting for the boys to reveal themselves

"oh my goshhh" kaylor said nervously

the five boys finally walked right towards the fire pit which made the girls face soften

"hey guys!" jana said

"hey how are y'all doing" one of the boys in a green suit said waving his hand

the girls and the boys both cheered excitedly while the boys walked towards the kitchen island picking up a glass of champagne

"they look all gorgeous" kaylor said

"hey boys" ariana said as they boys walked towards them with their drinks

the boys started introducing eachother as they shook all their girls hands

"hi im joy" joy said nervously to the boy in green that came towards her reaching for her hand

the boy was literally so beautiful to her the suit he wore revealed some of his body parts like his arms that had tattoos

his hair was in twists and you can just tell he had long hair

"kordell" the boy said introducing his self while he shook her head

he smiled once he heard the girl is thick soft accent then walked towards the couch where the boys were sitting

the girls all sat on the other side of the couch while the boys all sat beside them on the other side aswell along with ariana

"alright ladies I'm excited to introduce you to the boys" ariana said making the girls nod their heads

"here's coye.." ariana said making the darkskin male that was sitting beside her in a black suit smile at the girls

"hi coye" jana said

"hellooo" the other girls dragged out

"aaron" ariana said

"hi girls" aaron said with his thick uk accent

"hey aaron" kaylor said

"hi aaronnnn" the other girls dragged out

"we got kordell" ariana said

"how y'all doing" kordell smiled making sure to look at joy

"hey" joy said while she waved

"wassup kordell" the other girls said

"this is Kendall" ariana said

"hey kendall" the girls all said at once

"ladies" kendall chuckled

"and rob" ariana said introducing the last boy

"hello robbbbb" the girls continued to drag out making the boys burst into laughter

the boys started introducing their selves while the girls listened until they were finally finished

"well everyone this is it the journey of finding love has begun let's raise our glasses to a amazing summer" ariana said

everyone stood up excitedly and walked towards the middle raising their glass cups in the air and cheering

they heard big noises coming from the sky and it was revealed to be fireworks once they looked up

after playing a card game getting to know eachother it was finally time to couple up

leah went with rob on the heart shape wood they were stepping on, and kaylor went with aaron

and kendall stood there by himself on the heart shape wood and so did kordell

joy was still right next to ariana eyeing the guys while jana and hannah went on a heart with coye

but then coye picked jana and now hannah and joy were sitting at a couch together

"kordell is there anyone you have your eyes on?" ariana said once she noticed the male standing there by his self

"yeah and I still have my eyes on the person too" kordell said

"alright we're gonna come right back to you" ariana chuckled moving to kendall

ariana spoked to kendall who let her know he was gonna bring his personality out

after she was done speaking to everyone she told both hannah and joy to step up right next to her

joy stood there nervously with a smile ok her face while kordell and her locked eyes

"okay kordell will start with you you can now choose one of these two gorgeous girls to couple up with" ariana said

"I don't really have to think for real I already wanted this girl once I walked inside and seen her I already knew there was a spark there so joy" kordell said

joy raised her eyes and smiled widely then started walking towards the heart shape grabbing onto kordell's hand while he helped her step onto it since she was wearing heels

"hi" joy huffed while she stood next to him swallowing the lump in her mouth

hannah went with kendall and ariana let them know they were all coupled up for now until there will be a surprise coming soon

after ariana left it was finally time for the couples to explore the villa

kordell decided to take joy upstairs to the balcony so they can talk and try to get to know each other

joy slowly sat down on one of the chairs while kordell sat on the other one infront of her

"I can take your heels off for you?" kordell said

"of course" joy smiled

kordell slowly took her heels off for her setting them on the ground

"that cute ass voice you have where you from?" kordell said making joy blush and throw her head back

"I'm from cali" joy said

"oh shit that's dope as shit" kordell said

"yes born and raised" joy said with a smile on her face while kordell held her hand

"your cool as fuck" kordell said

"aw thank you where were you born and raised" joy smiled

"I'm from texas" kordell said

"I been there twice I love it" joy said

"no you ain't you trolling" kordell chuckled

"no the hell im not" joy said making kordell burst into laughter at how she said it

"no the hell im nawt" kordell mocked which made joy cover her mouth giggling

"is not funny" joy chuckled while he continued to laugh his ass off

"you right im sorry" kordell said while he continued to laugh

after kordell and joy talked it off it was finally time for them to go to bed

joy was now in the ladies makeup room taking her makeup off along with the other girls

"joy how did you and kordell's conversation go" hannah said

"it went great his cool and actually matches energy i like him" joy said as she wiped a wet towel on her face

"awww that's so sweet" leah said

"no seriously no boy never made me blush like he does" joy said making all the girls look at him in aw

"that's so cute" hannah chuckled

"Im so excited to sleep in bed with aaron" kaylor said

joy chuckled at kaylor cause the girl talked about aaron nonstop ever since they coupled up

after joy successfully took her makeup off and got in her pink pajama shorts and white tank top

she walked inside the bedroom that held all the shared beds for everyone

each girl got in bed with their partner and laid closely to them

joy smiled at jana and coye who's bed was right next to her's and kordell's

joy started whispering to jana who whispered back while their boys were too busy tryna go into a deep slumber

"girl my nose hurts" jana said

"it's summer it's too hot don't tell me your sick" joy chuckled

"I don't know what it is" jana chuckled

the two girls laughed loudly which made the other boys in the room trying to go to sleep smack their teeth

"sorry!" joy chuckled once she heard everyone

after joy and jana were done finally talking joy turned around facing kordell who wrapped his arms around her

joy gladly wrapped her arms around him aswell which made both of them go into a deep slumber
