Chapter 24 Zachary Kisses Lillian
Zachary was lost for a moment, then quickly calmed down.
Amidst Beatriceâs cries, he made up his mind. Since he and Lillian were separated, it was best to cut it off completely and treat Beatrice wholeheartedly. He should also tolerate Beatriceâs shortcomings of crying easily.
His jaw tightened, and he reached out to touch her head, patiently coaxing her. âWhy do you keep crying?â
âIâm afraid!â Beatrice cried like a frightened little animal.
âThe police called me again and said I was suspected of murdering Lillian. I was so scared.â
A pile of watermelons had just injured Zachary, and his head was still dizzy. At this moment, he still managed to sit up and comfort Beatrice.
âIt doesnât matter. That is all Lillianâs fault. If the police call from now on, just let me answer the phone.â
Sure enough, Beatrice stopped crying and looked at Zachary with tears in her eyes. âYou must believe me. I really didnât hurt Ms. Wilson.â
Zachary was exhausted physically and mentally, but he still hugged Beatrice to comfort her. âWell, I believe you. Itâs all Lillian who is setting you up.â
Even so, Lillianâs face still appeared before Zacharyâs eyes.
Lillian always took care of him silently. She was stubborn and forbearing. No matter what
grievance she suffered, when she faced his questioning gaze, she always hid the emotions in her eyes and smiled brightly at him.
Zachary always disliked Lillianâs pretentiousness in the past and thought she must have an ulterior motive.
But at this moment, he felt a little nostalgic.
The door to the ward was pushed open, and Ben walked in with many people.
âMs. Young, some criminals confessed that you ordered them to harm Ms. Wilson.â
Beatrice frowned and looked at Zachary nervously.
Zacharyâs eyes were deep. âDonât be afraid. I will accompany you to take notes.â
Then he looked at Ben with a strong aura. Even though he was lying on the hospital bed, he still felt faintly oppressive.
âCan Beatrice be arrested with just a few words from those gangsters? Is it because I donât understand the law, or do you not?â
He endured the discomfort and accompanied Beatrice to take notes. Beatrice seemed to be greatly frightened and fainted several times. After finishing the notes, Zachary forcibly took Beatrice to the hospital.
Just after Beatrice was settled, Zachary walked out and heard the voices of Lillian and Ashton.
I told you, Iâm fine. Why do you have to bring me to the hospital?â Lillian seemed a little impatient.
Zachary looked over in the direction of the voice.
Ashton grabbed Lillianâs arm and persuaded her with a gentle voice, âItâs better to take a CT scan.

You fought those gangsters. It would be bad if you got hidden injuries.â
âOkay,â Lillian was reluctant and compromised with Ashton.
She lay in the machine and finished taking the CT scan. Ashton, who was originally guarding the door, went to the fire escape to answer the phone, and the nurse was nowhere to be found.
Lillian put on her shoes and was about to push the door open and go out.
An arm suddenly stretched in and pushed her directly back into the room.
Lillian was caught off guard, stumbled back a few steps, and sat on the hospital bed.
âWho dares to do this to me?â
As soon as she raised her head, she was stunned. It was Zachary, with bloodâred eyes, who walked in with rage.
Lillian frowned, a little confused. âWhy are you so crazy again?â
âIsnât this what you want? You are playing hard to get, lingering, targeting Beatrice repeatedly. Isnât it just to get me again? Then I will do as you wish!â
After saying that, Zachary ran towards her like a furious beast, rushed over, pressed her down on the hospital bed, and kissed her hard.
âHmph! Lunaticâ¦â
Zacharyâs fierce and manic kiss seemed to devour her. Lillian tried to wave her hands and struggled fiercely, but Zachary held her down tightly.
