RILEY

“Holy shit! That was so much fun,” I exclaimed, bouncing up and down with glee as we exited the game booth.

We’d just played a shooting game and won a cuddly little panda.

“It’s all yours,” Tristan said, his laughter echoing mine. He pulled me closer and planted a kiss on my temple.

“I’m having a blast,” I confessed, skipping ahead of him, my mind racing with what to do next.

~I’m behaving like a kid.~

I glanced back at Tristan. He was watching me, a soft smile on his face, his hands tucked in his pockets.

“Sorry for being so hyper,” I apologized, my cheeks heating up. I hid my face behind my hair.

“Are you kidding? I love it. Seeing you so happy and carefree is the best part of my day.” He cupped my face and kissed me, his lips warm against mine.

“I just… my dad took me to a carnival once, and I’ve always wanted to go back. But then he got busy with work, and I grew up…”

I realized I was rambling and stopped, looking at him. He was watching me, his gaze intense.

“Anyway, thanks for bringing me here,” I said, smiling at him. He stroked my cheek gently.

“We can come here anytime you want, babe,” he promised, his eyes locked on mine.

I felt myself getting lost in his beautiful green eyes.

“That’s really sweet of you.”

“I’m always sweet, babycakes,” he replied with a cocky grin, making me roll my eyes.

“Okay, let’s go grab some food,” I suggested, tugging on his arm, but he held back.

“Are you hungry?” he asked.

“Not really, but there are so many food stalls,” I said, glancing over his shoulder, then spinning around.

I felt so happy and carefree, just like he’d said. It was an amazing feeling. I loved being this way with him.

“Let’s hit the Ferris wheel first, then we can eat. I don’t want you puking on me,” he teased, earning a playful punch on his arm from me.

“I’m not scared of heights, jerk,” I grumbled.

He kissed my cheek. “We’ll see if you still feel that way after the ride.” He winked and led me by the hand.

“What do you mean?” I asked, puzzled by his comment, but he ignored me as we headed toward the towering Ferris wheel.

“Welcome back, Mr. Harris.” The old man at the ticket booth greeted him with a wide smile.

“Do you know him?” I asked, tugging on his sleeve. He looked down at me and winked.

“You’ll find out soon. Give me your stuff.” Tristan held out his hand, and I handed him my phone, purse, and our fluffy panda prize.

I looked around and realized we were the only ones in line for the next ride.

~That’s odd.~

“Tristan, what’s happening? Where is everyone else?” I asked, my eyebrows furrowing in confusion. He leaned down and whispered in my ear.

His lips brushed against my earlobe, sending a shiver down my spine.

“I reserved the entire Ferris wheel, just for us, for the next hour. The main event of our date is up there, babycakes.”

My eyes widened in shock and awe.

~Holy shit!~

I couldn’t believe it. He’d reserved the entire Ferris wheel for us?

~Is he for real?~

My heart swelled at the thought of the effort he’d put into this date; it almost brought tears to my eyes.

“Tristan, this is... I can’t believe you did this for me. It’s too much,” I murmured, avoiding his gaze, afraid I might start crying.

“I’d do anything for you, and only you, Riley, because you’re mine and you’re fucking worth it.” He smiled at me.

I blinked back tears and hugged him tightly. He seemed surprised, but quickly wrapped his arms around me and held me close.

I breathed in his familiar musky scent, and it felt like home. I felt so safe and content in his arms, I never wanted to let go.

That’s when I realized I was falling hard for him, and the best part was, I wasn’t scared anymore.

“Thank you so much,” I mumbled into his chest. He sighed softly and kissed my hair.

“There’s more. Come on.” He pulled back and took my hand. We settled into one of the seats and buckled up.

“Ready?” he asked, double-checking my seatbelt. I smiled at his thoughtful gesture and nodded, already buzzing with excitement.

The ride started, and I squealed as we began to ascend. Tristan chuckled beside me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders and pulling me close.

A cool breeze swept over us as we climbed higher. The entire city spread out below us; everything looked so small.

The people on the ground were like ants. I squealed again, kicking my legs as the ride picked up speed.

“Oh my God, this is so beautiful,” I exclaimed, my heart soaring.

“Yes, it is,” he murmured, and I turned to find him watching me.

I didn’t know if it was the adrenaline or him, but my stomach was fluttering and my heart was pounding.

I traced my fingers along Tristan’s jaw and leaned in to kiss him.

He kissed me back, his lips moving gently against mine, and I melted into his arms.

The ride continued for a few more moments, then abruptly stopped when we were at the very top of the Ferris wheel.

“Oh my God, are we stuck? Shit!” I pulled away, panic setting in. “Oh God! This is like one of those Final Destination movies.”

I looked down to see the old man at the ticket booth engrossed in his phone.

“Relax, Adams. It’s all part of the plan.” He was laughing so hard he was clutching his stomach.

I shot him a glare. “Tristan, it’s not funny.” I gave his arm a smack as he kept laughing at my earlier panic.

“You’re so damn adorable,” he managed to say between fits of laughter.

He gestured towards the darkening sky, and I realized it was nearing nine o’clock. “Okay, get ready. One…two…”

~Time sure does fly when I’m with him.~

“What am I supposed to be looking for?” I asked, crossing my arms over my chest with a pout.

“And…three!” he finished.

But nothing happened. I looked at him, puzzled, and he let out a string of curses.

“Shit! Just a sec, babe.” He glanced down at the old man, who gave him a thumbs up.

Suddenly, the sky was ablaze with fireworks.

Gasps and cheers erupted from the crowd below as the fireworks continued to explode, one after the other.

I grinned, covering my mouth in surprise. I turned to Tristan, who was watching my reaction.

I flung my arms around his neck, not caring about the danger of our high perch.

“You’re amazing. This is perfect, Tristan.” I kissed him deeply, and he kissed me back, brushing my hair away from my face.

It was incredibly romantic, watching the fireworks and the night sky with him by my side.

~Please, let this be real.~

Our kiss deepened, and he slipped his tongue into my mouth, letting out a soft groan as I ran my fingers through his hair.

“God, I thought I could hold back, but I can’t,” he murmured against my lips.

I smiled at his words.

“Do you trust me?” he asked, his voice low and husky, his gaze locked on mine. I nodded without a moment’s hesitation.

Tristan’s hands moved to my thigh, and I gasped at his touch. He swallowed hard and slowly traced his fingers up my thighs.

My whole body was aflame; I could feel myself growing wetter with each passing second.

“Are you sure you want me to keep going?” he asked again.

I blushed, knowing what was about to happen. This was my first time being this intimate with a guy, and it was perfect.

I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

“As long as no one can see us up here, I’m sure,” I replied. Tristan smirked, moving his hands further up my thighs; I bit my lip to suppress a moan.

“Spread your legs,” he whispered in my ear. I did as he instructed.

I closed my eyes and tightened my grip on his arms as his fingers neared my core.

~Oh God! This is really happening.~

He continued to kiss my neck gently as he rubbed my clit through my panties. I squeezed my thighs together.

“Fuck, you’re so wet. Just how I like it,” he murmured against my skin, pushing my panties aside. I couldn’t help but let out a soft moan.

“Jesus, you have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do this,” he continued to rub my clit slowly, and I arched my back in pleasure.

~God, it feels so good.~

“Do you like it?” he asked, quickening his pace; I nodded in response. He slid a finger inside me, and I could feel the pressure building in my stomach.

“Fuck, you’re so tight, babe.”

I moaned loudly, unable to control myself as he continued to finger me relentlessly. I was panting heavily.

He captured my lips with his, continuing to stroke my clit with his thumb.

“Ahh…Tr-Tristan…” I moaned, unable to form a coherent sentence.

“Come for me, baby,” he moaned against my neck.

I felt my entire body shake as I came all over his hands. My mind went blank for a moment, and I let out a deep breath before opening my eyes to look at him.

He gave me a wide smile, then licked his fingers clean.

~Oh my God! That was my first orgasm.~

~And it was absolutely incredible!~

I covered my face in embarrassment, and he chuckled at my reaction.

“That was fucking hot, Adams. You taste just like I imagined you would.” He flashed me a sexy smirk, and I could feel my cheeks burning.

“Umm... I've never done that before.”

“I know. I’m so glad I was your first, and that I could make you come.” He grinned proudly, and I smacked him.

“You’re so dirty, Tristan.”

“I can’t help it, babe.” He laughed and kissed my cheek gently. “That was beautiful. Thank you for trusting me.”

“Well, I enjoyed it too,” I admitted shyly.

He shook his head with a small smile. “Of course you did.”

We felt the ride start moving again, and I quickly adjusted my dress and hair.

“Phew! That was a first for me too,” Tristan said. “On top of the Ferris wheel. And I have to say, it was the best one yet.”

He unbuckled his seatbelt, and I couldn’t help but wonder how many girls he had been with. I felt a pang of jealousy and tried to push it out of my mind.

The ride finally ended, and we headed to the counter to collect my things.

“How was the ride, Mr. Harris?” The old man smiled at us as he handed over my things.

“It was great. Especially the climax of the ride. That was fucking amazing,” he replied, glancing at me and raising his eyebrows.

My eyes widened at his words.

“Tristan!” I hissed at him, but he just laughed at my reaction.

~Well, he’s not wrong.~

~The climax was fucking amazing.~
