Bella had just woken up when she overheard Dominic and am talking, and she distinctly heard Dominic call her stupid.
Her head was still a lele dizzy, and her eyelids belt bewy, but her mind was clear, and her bearing was sharp. The familiar smell of disinfectant filled the air. She was in the hospital and had been saved.
She breathed a sigh of relief, and tan noticed immediately. âOh, your reawake. Come on, let me take a lookâ

Ian struggled to stifle his laughter. âYou heard what we said, right? itâs the truth. Come on, tell us, how did you manage to lock yourself in there? if Dominic hadnât come home and noticed you were missing, or if heâd stayed late at work and returned later, youâd be dead.â

After her IV drip was finished, they left the hospital. It was mest midnight, and Bella felt weak. Her legs trembled, and she was sweating.

You shouldnât drink anything cold,â she said. âIâll make you some tea. I was so scared yealerday. When Mr. Atiller found you, you were drenched in sweat, and your face was so pale.â
Bella could imagine the scene. âAnd then what happened?â she asked casually.
Sylvia described in vividly. âMr. Miller thought you were dead. His hand trembled when he touchedý And when he rushed out with you in his arms, he moved as fast as the wind.â

As soon as she finished speaking, Dominic appeared at the kitchen door, âI was afraid sheâd die in my house, and Iâd have to leaveâ
