Celestia
"Tia." I could feel someone gently shaking me awake. "It's time to wake up, my love."
"Hmmm." I groaned, trying to keep ahold of the nice dream I was having.
"If you don't get up soon..." The voice trails off for a moment before the sensation of hot air tickled against my ear. "I'll have to find another way to wake you."
"Only if I get a kiss." I turned my face towards the owner of the voice with a smile while keeping my eyes closed.
"Hmm. I thought you would take me up on my offer." The voice muses as lips came against mine, nibbling my bottom lip. "Though this isn't too bad."
"Mhm." I open my eyes to see a smiling Alaric leaning over me. "Unfortunately, I'm too busy today."
"You can do it tomorrow." Alaric says slyly, caressing the side of my face.
"We don't have a lot of time left Alaric." I patted him on the face and slid my feet over the side of the bed. "I want it done so I don't have to worry about it later."
My feet touch the soft fur carpet as I carefully stood up, groaning a little as my lower back started to ache. Alaric quickly supported me as I walked to the bathroom; I could feel his concerned eyes on me.
I am pregnant- very pregnant.
To be honest, I wasn't surprised when I have found out that I was pregnant a few months ago since nighttime Alaric was-is very sensual and passionate doubled with the fact that there isn't a lot of birth control here.
I had terrible morning sickness during my first trimester and half way into my second- Alaric being there through each step.
He's massaged my feet and legs whenever I was tired, bring my favorite food including anything I was craving to me any time, walked with me though the gardens, everything a husband should do- he's done.
I've even caught him reading a few pregnancy books in the library.
But Alaric has also been very overprotective of me, getting worse the closer I came to my due date and now that I'm two days pass the due date: he's been having the doctor checking on me every three hours.
It took a lot of convincing for him to allow me to decorate the child's room that hasn't made a lot of progress since he keeps making up excuses to come check up on me.
::::::::::
"Alaric." I glare up at him from behind the door, starting to close it. "If you open this door without permission one more time- you'll be sleeping on the couch. I'll send someone if I need you."
"Okay..." Alaric give me big puppy-dog eyes and I could almost see those darn ears on top of his head.
I quickly shut the door so that I wouldn't be affected and sighed.
"How are you feeling Master?" Quinn says as she observed me. She and Valerie were here to help me since I wasn't able to lift much right now.
"Fine." I sighed again as I went to sit down on a couch. "I'll feel better once I'm holding this kid in my arms." I caressed my abdomen with a smile before looking at her.
"What color do you want the walls?" Valerie gets right down to business.
"Green walls would be nice... And could we paint a forest scene on that wall there? If we put the crib in it's center, it would look really nice."
"What color should the crib be?"
"White."
Valerie continued writing down everything I said as the afternoon sun poured sunlight through the large windows and I started to get hungry.
'Knock, knock!'
We paused to look at the door as it opens, a tray of food lingering at the doorway and a sheepish Alaric behind it.
I raised an eyebrow in his direction, but I could now smell the food- so I had no choice but to allow him in. I chuckled as I waved him in, his face lighting up at my invitation.
Quinn and Valerie took the opportunity to leave the room as he pushed the tray near me and set a few plates down on the table next to the couch before kneeling in front of me.
"What will it be my lady?" He asks with a grin. "Sandwiches or desert?"
"Touch choice." I couldn't help but laugh. "But I'll go with sandwiches first."
Alaric hands me one which was quickly consumed before offering another. I ended up eating three more sandwiches before switching to desert.
I try to sit up a little, feeling uncomfortable in my current position as Alaric reaches over to grab pillows and put them underneath me.
"Where you able to get some work done?" I ask as I balanced a small plate on top of my stomach.
"Of course." Alaric grins. "Comfortable?"
"Almost." I could feel my lips starting to curl. "I seem to be missing my favorite pillow."
"Your wish is my command."
Alaric helps me sit up once more and slides behind me, allowing me to sit back against him as I started to eat my desert.
:::::::::::
It's day five since my due date passed and I could tell that Alaric was getting nervous.
I could barely get him to leave my side for more than a minute before he glued himself back besides me. It didn't matter how many times the doctor said that everything was fine; he didn't seem to believe it.
I was walking with Quinn in the garden, feeling Alaric's eyes on me through the window when my water broke.
"Oh!" I bent over a little in surprise as Quinn held onto my arm.
'Crash!!'
I look up to see Alaric jumping through a window with a panicked look in his eyes as he rushed over to me.
"What's wrong!?! What happened!?!" He grabs onto my arm.
"My water broke." I managed to say until I was scooped into Alaric's arms and rushed back inside.
"Get the doctor!" He orders, rushing up to our room.
"Alaric, I'm fine!" I tried protesting which fell on deaf ears.
Alaric gently set me down on the bed. "Everything is okay. Your fine."
"Alaric, you need to calm down." I grabbed onto his hand and patted it, not allowing him to leave me. "Deep breaths."
I could hear a loud clatter outside as the doctor was suddenly shoved into the room, looking disheveled.
"Please allow me to examine her majesty." She says after a cough, setting her bag besides the bed.
"Alaric." I sighed as he glared down at the doctor, his eyes promising retribution if something went wrong.
"So your water broke?"
"Yes."
"Are you feeling any pain, discomfort?"
"No."
"There isn't anything I can do at the moment, but you should soon start having contractions."
"How soon?" Alaric interrupts.
"If she hasn't had any contractions, we may need to induce it."
"Hmm." I groaned as dull pain started to grow in my lower back and stomach.
"But it looks like we won't need to worry about that." The doctor quickly walks over to the door, speaking with someone on the other side before returning. "Your majesty, I will have to ask you to leave the room."
"No." Alaric clenched onto my hand.
"It's okay." I smiled back. "I'll be okay. Go."
Alaric reluctantly leaves, watching me until the door closes.

Alaric
Celestia's screams could be heard through out the entire manor as night fell. It took every bit of my willpower to not barge into the room to be with her.
"I should of made sure that she didn't get pregnant." I muttered darkly, not noticing that my words were causing the people waiting with me to flinch.
"It's not so bad." Barrett says attempting to be comforting. "Soon you'll have a child that looks like your beloved Celestia."
"What is the point of having a child if Tia is not there?" I glared at Barrett who quickly puts up his hands.
"If Celestia heard that." Blair interrupts with a huff. "She would be very upset."
I looked up to see a maid leaving the room with towels soaked in blood and liquid.
"How is she?" I stand up.
"The baby is coming!" She swiftly bows before scurrying away, leaving the door cracked.
I looked through the door and saw what was almost a battlefield. People rushing about as Tia laid on the bed and the doctor between her legs.
Tia's heart-wrenching scream echoed in my head as I stared at her pale face. Her eyes meet mine and she reached out for me.
I immediately came in, rushing to her side and held onto her hand, feeling unusual strength in them.
"Alaric!..." Tears spilled out from her eyes as she cried out my name.
"I'm here." I kissed her hand as I sat next to her. "I'm here Tia. It's okay."
"Your Majesty?" The doctor notices me here but doesn't say a word. "I need you to get her to push. The baby is coming."
"Tia, you need to push."
"I can't Alaric!!" Tia shakes her head, clenching her teeth and only allowing a groan to pass through them.
"I'm right here." I could feel magic starting swirl around the room, Tia being unable to control it in her pain. "Focus on me."
"She needs to take deep breaths!! The doctor's voice slowly reaches me as I used my aura to calm the magic around us.
"Follow my breathing Tia." I maintain eye contact as I started to take deep breaths, smiling as she started to follow. "Good, good. Just like that."
"Now push! I can see it's head!"
"You can do it Tia." I smiled at her as she clenched my hand tightly.
Tia starts to push, staring at me the entire time as I said words of encouragement the entire time until she suddenly sighs with relief as the baby came out.
"It's a boy!" The doctor says happily before handing the baby to get cleaned off. "Congratulations! You have a healthy baby boy-" She suddenly pauses. "There's two!"
"What?" Tia and I both ask confused.
"Your Majesty, you need to push!! Quickly!!"
"You did this!!" Tia glares up at me for a moment before starting to push. "This is your fault!!"
"You can blame me all you want later." I couldn't help but start to chuckle.
"Almost there!!!! One last push!!!" The doctor yells.
"AHHHH!!!!!!!" Tia shouts as she pushes the baby into the waiting arms of the doctor.
"Good! Very good!" The doctor says as she hands off the second baby and checked to make sure there were no other babies. "You can now rest, your Majesty!"
"W-what's the second one?" Tia asks breathless as I was handed our first child.
"Another boy!" The doctor smiles as she hands the second boy to Tia.
"Their so beautiful!" Tia starts to cry a little causing the boys to start crying. "Shh, shh." She murmured to them, instantly comforting the children.
"Good job Tia." I kissed her forehead as I tapped one of the small hands that waved out at me from the blanket.
"I can tell they will be a handful." She chuckled as her head rests against me. "They look just like you Alaric."
"I hope that they at least have your eyes."
"Your majesty." The doctor gestures to me. "Her majesty needs to get some rest."
"Of course." I take both of the boys into my arms as Tia smiles at me. "Get some rest Tia. You deserve it."
I stride towards the door, it opening as I drew close and felt a smile grow on my face as I looked at all of our friends and family standing in the next room.
"Everyone: I want you to meet our two boys- Ash and Cole!
