Chapter 118 “Yes, Sir got up early and left for the company,” Amy answered.

Mikayla quickly called Jerome.

She thought he might not answer, but after a few rings, his cold voice came through.

“What’s the matter?” Jerome asked.

Mikayla walked to a quiet place away from Amy and asked in a hushed voice, “Have you signed the divorce agreement? Can we go for certification this morning?”

Jerome replied indifferently, “I’m busy.”

“If you don’t have time for certification, at least get the divorce agreement signed, okay?” Mikayla pressed anxiously. “Where are you now? I’ll come over to you.”

“I’m in my office,” Jerome replied.

After that, he hung up the phone.

Mikayla walked to the dining table.

Amy was no longer there, so she probably didn’t overheard their conversation.

Although Amy wasn’t the one who leaked the news of her getting a divorce to Wanda last time, it was better to keep it a secret from everyone.

After having breakfast, Mikayla drove to Miller Group.

She arrived at Jerome’s office.

When she was about to knock on the door, she recognized two familiar faces inside–her uncle, Stephen, and her aunt, Matilda.

Could it be that Jerome called them over to stop her from getting a divorce?

When they heard her knocking, Stephen and Matilda both turned to look at her. “Kay, are you here to see Jerome?”
