DEAD WINTER will feature 25 stories. 20 are penned by The CRYPTIC's members and our special guest star authors. The remaining five entries have been selected from submissions.
DEAD WINTER went live on January 1st. Stories will be released one per day, the entire month of January. We are meeting the New Year with tremendous cheer!
The stories found in DEAD WINTER do not focus on the lovely, the strong, the brave - the heroes, in other words. Instead, the tales in the pages to follow show us how the dark ones celebrate the end of another year.
The theme of DEAD WINTER is "A villain's holiday."
