Chapter 115 Let Him In
She forgot that she was still wearing cute pajamas.
These cotton pajamas were prepared by Roger for her on which the cartoon pattern was printed. It was
childish but very comfortable to wear.
Kaylah thought that since she lived alone now
and no one saw what she was wearing, she kept these pajamas.
However, she did not expect that Hendry would see it as soon as she dressed it today.
It was really annoying.
Kaylah wanted to close the door and change her clothes again, but Hendry was still leaning against the
door, unwilling to give in.
Kaylah had no choice but to let him in.
She opened the door and said with a dark face, âThen wait for me.â
After that, she turned around and walked
towards the bedroom. Then she slammed the door shut and locked it from the inside.
The corners of Hendryâs lips curled up slightly as he showed a faint smile.
After closing the door, Hendry began to look around the apartment.
There was a shoe rack in the vestibule, on which were all Kaylahâs shoes with no menâs slippers or sho
es.
Seeing this, Hendry unconsciously heaved a sigh of relief.
It seemed that Aryan had never been to this place.
Or rather, he had not had the time to come over.
With some speculation in his heart, Hendry looked around Kaylahâs living room again.
All the decorations here were designed by Kaylah. The flowers and plants
were carefully arranged. There were also many dolls and cute
pillows. The house was mostly decorated with bright colors, making the whole space neat and comforta
ble, and also very warm and romantic.
If he could live in this apartment, maybe he would feel very comfortable.
Hendry decided to take back his previous evaluation of the apartment. If Kaylah could invite him to live
with her, he would be willing even if there was a twoâhour drive from here to his company.
Hendry sat down on the sofa and saw that there was a pile of messy white papers on the coffee table o
n which a lot of messy patterns were drawn. Thus, he wanted to help tidy
them up.
With a slight OCD, he couldnât stand it being so messy.
However, before he could reach the pile of papers, Kaylahâs roar came from the side.
âDonât touch them!â
Hendryâs body stiffened as he turned to look at Kaylah, only to see that she had already changed her p
ajamas. She pounced over with a serious expression and quickly put away the designs that were upsid
e down on the coffee table.
What a joke. If Hendry saw these designs, wouldnât Leilaâs identity be exposed? thought
Kaylah.
Therefore, Kaylah couldnât let Hendry see these designs. She hid the designs like she was hiding a trea
sure. She even looked at Hendry with a particularly vigilant gaze.
Hendryâs face darkened under her gaze. âI didnât want to peek. I just wanted to help you
tidy up.â
âMr. Lowery, youâre warmâhearted,â Kaylah said sarcastically.
She turned back and threw him a bottle of mineral water.
âThere is nothing else to drink at home. Just make do with the mineral water.â
Hendry pursed his lips and did not say a word. In the past, when he was at home, Kaylah cared about h
Every time he got off work, he could drink the good coffee that Kaylah carefully made.
In the past, although he did not say it out, every time he drank what Kaylah made for him, his mood wou
But now, Kaylah wanted to deal with him with mineral water.
He placed the mineral water on the coffee table and turned to look at Kaylah.
Kaylah also sat down on the sofa. However, she did not choose to sit with him. Instead, she sat on a sin
In his impression, Kaylah in the Loweryâs home had never shown such a satisfied expression, nor had s
As he thought about it, Hendry only felt that he owed her much. Then he felt guilty.
âTell me, what exactly do you want to talk to me about?â
