Coming out of the hospital, Kaylah and Aryan went to the ZiKay Group together.

Aryan was in a bad state. He stared at the necklace in his hand and did not speak.

Kaylah knew that he missed his mother. She did not persuade him and let him immerse himself in his t

houghts. He would come around slowly.

She waited until Aryan became better before she said, “I need to prepare for the Pearson family’s dinne

r party in two days. Can I invite you to go with me?”

Aryan was stunned.

Kaylah did not care whether he agreed or not. Even if he did not want to, he had to agree. She directly

pressed the elevator button and went to Design Department.

“It’s settled. Come to my place for dinner later.”

After work, Kaylah took Aryan to her small apartment to eat because of the matter

about the hospital.

She cooked. There was one more person in the cozy small house, which made it livelier.

Besides, Aryan was talkative, so they kept talking.

They chatted while eating. Suddenly, the doorbell rang.

“Who came here to disturb us while we are eating?”

Aryan complained as he went to open the door.

When the door was opened, the two people were surprised.

Hendry looked at Aryan, who was wearing casual clothes. Hendry’s face immediately

darkened. “Why are you here?”

Aryan frowned. “I haven’t asked you yet. What are you doing here?”

Hendry clenched his fists and looked inside. He could only see a vague figure.

Aryan immediately stepped forward to block Hendry’s vision and asked coldly, “Mr. Lowery, what’s the

matter?”

“I’m looking for Kaylah.” Hendry wanted to rush inside.

Aryan stopped him. When the two men’s shoulders collided, they both used force, yet there was no cha

nge in their expressions.

“She doesn’t want to see you now.”

After saying that, Aryan wanted to close the door directly, but Hendry quickly pressed

the door.

“I’m looking for her. It has nothing to do with you.”

Aryan’s tone was exasperated. The atmosphere between Kaylah and him was clearly harmonious. Ho
