Chapter 217 Unite by Marriage
Zionâs expression was gloomy as he heard Kaylahâs words.
âAre you sure itâs only two days?â
Maybe his sister would be tricked again after two days!
Kaylah was dissatisfied with her brotherâs words. She patted her chest and said, âZion, what are you sa
ying? Do you think I am that stupid?â
She had been tricked once. How could she be tricked again?
However, Zion reached out and poked Kaylahâs forehead. âI think you are that stupid.â
Zion thought, she was tricked, yet she still didnât know. She even thought he was saving her. Kaylah wa
snât angry though she was scolded by Zion. She looked at him with a smile,
âZion, donât worry. I definitely wonât be tricked again. If you donât trust me, let Roger go with me. Then b
ring me back after two days.â
Zion let out a long sigh. Forget it, what could he do?
Kaylah went to Hendry herself and then got tricked. Zion couldnât do anything
âYou better stay alert!â
Zion wasnât in the mood to say more and walked away with heavy steps.
Only then did Kaylah realize that Zion didnât seem to be in a good mood today.
She immediately went to ask Roger. Then Roger told Kaylah what happened to Zion today.
âMr. Delgado went to the Sherwoodâs place today.â
Of course, he didnât go there for no reason. He used the excuse that he came to talk about some busin
ess issues. However, when Zion arrived there, he found that the Bailey family wanted to unite with the
Sherwood family by marriage.
The two families seemed to be happy when they sat there to talk. It seemed that the marriage had bee
n decided.
Kaylah immediately frowned after hearing this.
âThe Sherwood family and the Bailey family are going to unite by marriage? What does Andy think.
then?â
Roger shook his head. âIâm not sure either. I asked Mr. Delgado to ask Ms. Sherwood. He refused. Alas
â¦â
Roger worried about Zion and Kaylah a lot.
Kaylah knew that Zion cared about his face, so he didnât want to ask Andy. And that was why he felt un
happy.
If the person Zion met just now wasnât she, maybe Zion wouldnât say anything, not to mention ask thos
e questions.
Zion had been like this since childhood. When he met something he couldnât solve, he would hide by hi
mself and figure out solutions slowly. He never asked for help or discussed it with others.
Kaylah was very distressed about her brother. After returning to his room, she called Andy.
Andy quickly picked up the phone, and her voice was a little excited.
âKaylah!â
Kaylahâs heart skipped a beat. She vaguely heard the voice of a man on the other side. It was very
gentle.
âAndy, where are you now?â
âWhere am I? I am in the cinema.â
Kaylah was surprised. âHow can you speak so loudly since you are in a cinema?â
âItâs okay. We booked the whole hall.â
Okay, that sounded fine.
Wait⦠But Kaylah was sharp enough to find a key problem. She asked, âWe? Who is with you?â
Andy fell silent. Kaylah couldnât help but feel anxious.
Maybe her brother was really going to lose Andy this time.
âWith who? My subordinates.â Andy finally spoke, her tone still as carefree as ever.
âEh?â Kaylah was stunned.
âItâs my companyâs anniversary. I brought them out for some fun. I booked the whole cinema today. Andy
Kaylah was speechless.
It sounded weird. Andy owned a listed company, yet the way she brought her subordinates to have
fun was so common.
