Chapter 280 The Answer
After Kaylah finished her breakfast, she also knew what had happened.
She had been in a bad mood since she came back last night. Zion worried that she might be picked up,
so he asked someone to figure out what had happened and found out that Kaylah and Andy went out
together.
After thinking for a long time, Zion sent a message to ask Andy what had happened.
Andy told Zion everything that had happened yesterday.
Hearing this, Zion was shocked. Someone dared to hurt Kaylah.
He immediately sent someone to investigate the whereabouts of the two kidnappers.
Zion had connections. He found those kidnappers before the police could.
He went out and came back with Aryan. He also found out the truth of the whole thing. The two
kidnappers were half dead and sent to the police station.
As for Alondra, she was Aryanâs younger sister in name, so Zion asked Aryan to deal with this.
Although he had dealt with the two kidnappers, Zion still couldnât fall asleep. He had been waiting the
whole night to get even with Kaylah. However, he didnât expect that she would sleep the whole
morning.
It seemed that they were too cautious and made a fuss.
Kaylah took a sip of tea and couldnât help but complain, âIt was you who made a fuss.â
Zion couldnât help but glare at her.
Kaylah shrank her neck and said to Aryan, âWhy are you still making a fuss with Zion here?â
Aryan was lost for words.
âYou have been absent from work for a day for no reason. Are you still off work today?â
Aryan was speechless.
He almost forgot that he had to work.
Aryan had mixed feelings of exasperation and amusement. âIâm just worried about you.â
âDonât worry about me. Iâm happy and safe after divorcing that jerk. You should worry more about
yourself,â said Kaylah.
Aryan knew that this was Kaylahâs way to remind him of their relationship. For a moment, he felt sad
and helpless.
âWell, since youâre fine, I should leave.â Aryan finished his coffee and got up to leave.
Other than the business of the ZiKay Group, he had to make some time to go back to the Galvan
family.
It would be his fault if he didnât inform Edward what Alondra had done.
Kaylah waved at him and said, âWell, enjoy your work.â
Kaylahâs heartless actions made Aryan angry, though he was emotionally stable.
He could not help but rub her hair hard to vent his frustration and then left with satisfaction.
Kaylahâs face turned black. She tidied up her disordered hair and wondered if she had treated Aryan
too well to make him act so impudently!
She was the president of the ZiKay Group. Being treated as a child made her lose face.
Zion could not help but laugh when he saw this.
âDo you really have no feelings for Aryan?â
Although he knew the answer, Zion could not help but ask.
He felt that no man in the world was worthy of Kaylah. But he was worried that Kaylah would die alone.
Aryan had a good background, though he seemed to be a p*ayboy.
If Kaylah could accept him, so did Zion.
Kaylah shook her head decisively. âHe is a family member to me.â
Hearing this, Zion had mixed feelings. In the end, he nodded.
âGot it.â
It wasnât because Kaylah had someone in her heart that she couldnât accept anyone
else.
