Chapter 288 Get Into the Car
Hendry was acting like a spoiled child. Kaylah failed to prevent it.
She couldnât help but shake her head and feel disgusted.
âHendry, what are you thinking about? You think I have time to care about your relationship with
Alondra?â
Despite what she said, Kaylah couldnât help but look at Hendryâs wound.
It was shallow. But it had been almost a week, and it still hadnât healed. Kaylah thought, whatâs wrong
with Hendry? Why would it take so long for a small wound to heal?
Hendry noticed that Kaylah was peeping at him. He couldnât help but smile.
Kaylah was a great person, but she was stubborn.
Kaylah was obviously very worried, but her words were filled with indifference. If Hendry wasnât sharp e
nough, he would have been hurt by her coldness.
âYou are too busy to care about it. It doesnât matter. I can tell you,â said Hendry.
Kaylah paused for a while. Then she asked, âWhy should I know about your matter?â
Before Hendry retorted, Kaylah reminded him of their relationship.
âI have divorced you. We are strangers. Will you care about the love life of a stranger that you pass on t
he street?â
Hendry was speechless.
He thought, why are you so heartless? You were concerned about my injury just now, but in the blink of
an eye, I became a stranger.
Kaylah waved at Hendry impatiently, as if she was shooing away a fly.
âDo you have anything else to say? If thereâs nothing else, Iâll go now!â
As Kaylah spoke, she wanted to push Hendryâs hand away and slip away.
However, Hendry did not let go of her.
âWait. I still want to ask you a question.â
Kaylah frowned. âLet go of me first!â
âNo,â Hendry said. âIf I let go, you will run away.â
Kaylah took a deep breath âyou osult =
Well,â Hendry said. âYou can see me as a woman then.â
Kaylah was so angry that she laughed. To pester her, Hendry even changed his gender.
âEnough. Cut the crap. What exactly do you want to say?â
After hearing that, Kaylah finally understood. She wouldnât be able to leave before Hendry finished
what he wanted to say. So, Kaylah stopped struggling.
She thought, the earlier he finishes asking questions, the sooner I can go.
Hendry could tell Kaylahâs impatience. He was annoyed.
Hendry asked, âI want to ask you. Why did you come to Kayson Hotel at midnight?â
âWhat else can you do at a hotel? I want to get a room to sleep in.â
Hendry frowned. âThen why did you get out of the hotel?â
Kaylah rolled her eyes. She provoked Hendry deliberately. âAryan is working overtime and canât make it
Hendryâs face darkened in a second.
âYou said that youâve got a room with Aryan at the hotel?â
âAny problems?â Kaylah didnât deny it. âIt has nothing to do with you, does it? Can you let go of me
now?â
Hendry grabbed Kaylahâs arm and wanted to ask her something else. At this moment, he heard two
honks.
Hendry looked up and saw a black Bentley in front of him. The window was rolled down slowly, revealing
âKaylah, get into the car.â
Zion only said that and didnât even glance at Hendry.
Obviously, Zion hated seeing Hendry.
Kaylah immediately shook off Hendryâs hand and ran towards Zionâs car without looking back.
Hendry watched as Kaylah got into the car and sat next to Zion. Somehow, he became angry.
