“I was speaking up for you! How can you blame me instead? Since you like that stupid bumpkin so

much, why did you divorce her! You didn’t even touch her because you never liked her!”

A slap stopped Cecilia, and she covered her face with her hand.

“You hit me? You hit me for that bitch!”

“Enough, Cecilia! Have you bullied Kaylah like this all the time? Every time you came to me and

pretended that she hurt you. You just tried to make me misunderstand her, right?”

Cecilia had always been mean and willful. She might have been afraid of Hendry before, but now she

was furious, and she cared about nothing anymore.

“Yes! So what? Do you regret it now? Then go and chase her back! Let’s see if she will talk to you

again!”

The two were at loggerheads, and neither of them was going to give in.

Alondra felt uneasy as she stood aside and watched them argue. It had been a long time since she had

seen Hendry get so angry.

Most importantly, Hendry seemed to have gotten mad at Cecilia because of Kaylah.

Alondra frowned and felt a little worried.

She thought that as long as Kaylah and Hendry divorced, Kaylah would no longer be a problem

Alondra said softly, trying to persuade them. But her words were hinting that Kaylah was already an

outsider.

Hendry turned to look at Alondra and left the ward without saying anything.

Alondra wanted to stop him, but she was stopped by Cecilia.

“Let him go! He got pissed by his client and came to vent his anger at me! Who knows? Fucking

psycho!”

Alondra frowned. She glanced at Cecilia unhappily, but in the end, she didn’t say anything.

Forget it. Hendry is still angry now. Maybe he will calm down tomorrow. I can try to explain it to him

then.

Alondra hoped that Hendry wouldn’t get mad at her because of Cecilia’s stupidity.

guessed.

Cecilia was immediately convinced by Alondra and instantly stood up.

“No wonder Hendry got so angry today! It must be that bitch!”

Cecilia sneered. “A woman like her who is vain and greedy won’t be able to live without Hendry’s
