Chapter 382 Heartless
Coming out of the police station, Aryan grabbed Kaylahâs hand.
âWait here for me. I have something to say to Alondra.â
Kaylah nodded. She looked back at the dejected Alondra. Then she glanced at Hendry, who was
standing beside Alondra. She sneered and stood a little further away.
After Aryan confirmed that Kaylah could not hear them, the smile on his face disappeared.
âAlondra, I hope what happened today can teach you a lesson. Donât touch anything or anyone that
doesnât belong to you.â
Aryan glanced at Hendry pointedly.
Hendry was a little embarrassed. He nodded at Aryan and walked towards Kaylah.
While Aryan was talking to Alondra, Hendry walked to Kaylah.
âKaylah, thank you.â
Kaylah heard Hendryâs voice and turned to look at him.
âAre you apologizing for Alondra?â
Hendry was silent for a moment.
There was a mocking smile on Kaylahâs lips. âMr. Lowery, donât get me wrong. Although you can speak
on Alondraâs behalf, I didnât do it for
your sake.â
âWhyâ¦â
âI did it for Aryanâs take. I donât want him to have a sister whoâs in prison. Otherwise, others will laugh at
him, right?â
Hendryâs face darkened.
âDo you care so much about Aryan?â
âYes, I do care about him.â Kaylah looked Hendry up and down and said, âYou knew it long ago.
Thereâs no need to keep asking.â
Hendry pursed his lips and his heart **a beat.
Before Hendry could continue, Aryan taught Alondra a lesson and hurried to Kaylahâs side.
âKaylah, Iâm done.â
As Aryan came over, Kaylahâs expression immediately changed.
Kaylah smiled at Aryan and reached out to hold his arm. She said sweetly, âLetâs go.â
Aryan was slightly startled. He could hear his heart pound.
Aryan nodded blankly. âOkay, letâs go.â
Aryan and Kaylah walked away hand in hand in front of Hendry.
Hendry watched helplessly as Kaylah got into Aryanâs car and the two left intimately.
Hendry raised his hand and pressed it against his chest. He felt uneasy.
Alondra walked over from behind..
âHendry, thank you for helping me deal with this matter.â
Hendry put his hand down and glanced coldly at Alondra.
âYouâre welcome,â Hendry said. âI didnât do this for you.â
Alondra was stunned.
âYouâre lucky that Kaylah is willing to let you go this time. Donât forget the conditions we agreed on.
After you make an apology statement, I will immediately have someone send you abroad.â
After saying this, Hendry turned around and was about to leave.
Alondra was very sad and shouted, âHendry!â
Hendry turned around and looked at Alondra.
Tears welled up in Alondraâs eyes as she asked in a choked voice, âI did all this for you. Arenât you
touched?â
âFor me? Is it for me or yourself? Do you need me to make it clear?â Hendry sneered.
Alondra stopped choking.
âI donât need you to do these things that go against moral standards and conscience for me. Donât think
you did a good job. I am not as good as you think. Youâre totally wrong if you think I will be touched by
these things.â
Alondra looked at Hendry in disbelief. âEven if you donât like me, you canât say such heartless things to
me.â
âI am a heartless person.â
