My life was full of tides and chaos,

But because of you I've learned how to be strong.

I was blinded by rose-coloured glasses,

But because of you I'm starting to see more clearly now.

I used to think love can only be romantic,

But because of you I know something far beautiful now.

My sky was covered by the clouds of self-hate and sadness,

But because of you I've learned to appreciate myself a little more.

Because of you, I don't cry from sadness as often.

Because of you, I feel a little more loved.

Because of you, I started to look up a little bit more.

Because of you, I've learned what unconditional love can be.
