The meeting

The weeks roll by smoothly and the end of the school year is just five days away. we’re all a little antsy that Argon made such a bold move and hasn’t been seen since. The council and numerous packs are still searching for him to have him arrested for his crime on himself and for being involved with rogues. Hoping he’s finished his obsession and not making a new plan we try to carry on as normal with our lives. I still have someone with me everywhere I go and pack warriors guarding the school for my safety. My meeting with the council is later today, I’m not as nervous as I thought I would be in all honesty. I think I’m finally ready the months of hard work and training all coming down to the council’s word today.

I woke up in a Reign sandwich, the twins cancelled training today so we could wake up together. The bedroom door bursts open, “Boys, get up and go make coffee. Time for the girls.” Jas says as she comes bursting in my room at the school. The twins jump up shocked and lay back down as they see their mother.

“Mum, get.out.now.” Aries says through gritted teeth clearly annoyed that Jas has woken him up.

“Mum, what the hell? The meeting isn’t until later we were going to come to the pack house at twelve.” Ajax whines to her.

“Jas, you could have brought coffee.” I say in my groggy voice and she snickers.

“OK you whining bunch, the nearly former Luna will go and fetch you all coffee from a school canteen and possibly get mobbed by children.” She says faking worry and laughing.

“Is Bear with you?” Aries asks.

“Yes son.”

“Well then you’ll be fine noone will see you past that big fucker.” Aries laughs.

“Aries Reign you mind your manners.” Jas says as she turns and struts out of the room to fetch the coffee.

Aries turns me to face him and pecks me on the nose, “how about a real good morning my love?” He smirks his blue eyes dancing excitedly around my face taking me in. I wriggle and laugh at my playful Alpha. “Oh no Alpha, today is a big day. I need to get ready, eat and study! No funny business.” I chastise playfully.

“Hmm what if I want that good morning too?” Ajax asks

“No, you two behave! Your mum will be back any minute and I need to get some clothes on.” I say giggling at how loving and silly they are.

I arrive at the council building mid afternoon and make my way in one of my handsome mates on either side of me, they both look sexy in their slate grey suits with white shirts and black ties, their dark brown hair bouncing on top as they stride confidently through the long bright hallway to the main desk. Jas matched me with the Alpha’s I a slate grey suit skirt and white long sleeve ruffle blouse with black short heeled shoes. Jas herself followed behind with Rach and Bear the current and future Beta stuck to comfort and fighting ready and Jas donned a stunning navy blue fitted knee length dress and navy heels, her blonde hair framing her face. Luna always looks perfect, her image alone demanding respect.

With my game face on I report to the desk as everyone takes seats apart from Ajax and Aries, they stay right beside me.

“Cierra Cardle of High Moon Pack here for a face to face with the council.” I say confidently to the older lady behind the desk, she looks at me over her glasses for a moment, flicking her greying black hair out of her face she says “Miss Cardle, take a seat and I shall let the elders council know you have arrived.” Lilli, her name reads on her badge it suits her really well actually. Lilli, the receptionist or whatever she is, leaves her desk and heads to a door off to the side of the waiting room, knocks, pops her head in and then strolls back to her desk without a word.

“Cierra Cardle, come through, you may bring your entourage along, for now.” A tall dark haired man with dark hair and piercing green eyes bellowed from the door the receptionist had just been to.
