"Where is Ayaan's room?" The servant was shocked to see her in that condition and guided her to his room.

"This is the room." He pointed to the door and left for his work.

Roshini knocked on the door but found it unlocked. She twisted the knob and opened the door without any noise. Nightmares wasn't new for her but this time it didn't feel like a nightmare.

She saw that Ayaan was sleeping with Amal on him. Ignoring the sleeping duo, her eyes travelled to every corner of the room to find her luggage.

She opened the door to the closet and found a pair of heavy bags. It didn't take much time to guess that, they were hers.

Opening the zip, she searched for her kit and found it. Taking a green pill and she sighed in relief. Her anxiety with nightmares never died.

"Till today, my definition for nightmares is that accident. Then what about the moments I saw? Was that me? Then who is she?" Roshini mumbled to herself leaning against the wall.

After the anxiety kicked out, she took her medications and closed the door only to see that the man who was husband was awake.

He was looking at her being stunned. His eyes were travelling all around her while he was rooted in the place.

Walking like a snail, she apologized, "I'm sorry."

But still he didn't seem to listen to her. Her words didn't baffle him.

Does he have the habit of sleep walking?

Roshu! Shut your stupid thoughts!

She flicked her fingers and he jerked though his gaze didn't shift from her.

And for Ayaan, it was completely overwhelming. He rubbed his eyes, pinched himself twice to see if it's her or anyone else. Was he dreaming or being an illusionist like before?

When she flicked, he jerked trying to believe that it's real. She was her, in front of him. And why was acting like she doesn't know about him!

"What happened?" She asked blinking her eyes which red and puffy.

"You cried?" Both were caged in the abyss of emotions and refused to look away from each other. He wanted to know her indifferent behaviour towards him. She wanted to know how he read her like an open book.

He was busy mourning his death during his wedding. Of course, the day he married someone else other than his love, his wife he vowed that it would be his death.

He held her hand though she quick to get it out of his hold. She was scared of the moments and being alone with him didn't help her. He was hurt when she pulled away from his touch.

"What happened?" He repeated her question to her. Did anyone threaten her? Why was she behaving like this?

Roshini was confused with his words. He was behaving like he know from years but in the fact he was just her one day old husband.

"Roshini, look at me." He whispered when she looked down. It was foreign to take her name for him. She was always his love, his Rosh! From being a girl to his woman.

She didn't look at him but turned her way. The moments of being alone with him were digging the pressure inside her. She was internally shivering with his words.

But he held her hand again, enough of her being innocent, he wanted answers now.

"Why are you avoiding me?" His words were as cold as his eyes. The grip on her wrist was much to her limit, his rough hold was bruising her.

A painful hiss left from her vocals when his grip was beyond her limit to bear. His grip loosened but not his hold.

"Leave me." She screamed in pain and anxiety.

"How did you think that I will leave you that easy!" His words clogged her mind. She heard the same words in her dream also.

She couldn't reply or listen to what he was saying as everything was black in her view. And then she blacked out.

Ayaan was taken aback with the sudden changes. He found her only to lose?

"Rosh," He called her name, tapping on her cheeks but her response was void.

Placing her on the bed, he sprinkled water on her face but she didn't show any sign of waking up. She met him again, only to scare him to death?

He yelled her name in fear and frustration. When she showed no sign of consciousness, he walked down to his parents room.

"Amma, Nanna, open the door." He knocked on the door audible enough to the whole family.

Kaushalya opened the door followed by Vasudev. Both were perplexed to Ayaan like that. He was scared, worried, frightened.

Scared of what happened to her,

Worried about her,

Frightened to see a day like this.

Getting her but losing as well.

"Ayaan, what happened?" Kaushalya asked.

"Amma, Rosh, she," His words were cut off by his emotions. The elder couple was astounded to see him like that. The man who was managing everything with a smile was now being an inferior complex.

"Rosh? Roshini?" Vasudev asked and Ayaan nodded quickly. They moved up and was about to go to her room when he shuttered again.

"My room." He ran to his room followed by them.

"Dev, call to the doctor." Kaushalya told him though he was already dialling to the doctor.

"Amma, look she is not waking up." Ayaan sat beside Roshini and was continuously tapping on her cheeks and she showed no sign of consciousness. Her body was cold and red.

Amazed by her son and his behaviour, Kaushalya told him rub her legs and she was rubbing her palms.

Amal took the wrong moment to wake up and cry. Ayaan looked at him, he guessed that Amal was not so quick to realise that his father was not with him.

"Amal, shhh. Don't cry. Dadda is with you. Now, Mumma also came, don't cry."

Kaushalya was stunned with the new found information. What was he saying? Was it because she was his wife now? Or was it?

After few minutes, the doctor came and asked them to got out so that she can check her.

"I will be here." Ayaan was adamant. The doctor looked at Kaushalya and she drag her son with her so that the doctor can do her work.

"Amma, why did you do that?"

"Shut up. What happened to you?" Kaushalya took the sobbing Amal from him though the little brat was adamant like his dadda.

Ayaan closed his eyes with Amal trying bury himself in his father's neck. Holding him tight, he remembered her trembling form, something was definitely off with his wife.

The doctor allowed them in, Ayaan was quick to bombard her with his questions.

"Her health is not fine. Neither her mental health nor her physical health. It's like she's going through a trauma. I want to know her past health reports. Only then I can tell her condition." The doctor told them.

Ayaan remembered the medical kit and passed it to the doctor. She examined the medicines and was kind of relieved.

"I'm sure that it's amnesia. But I'm not exactly sure what type it is. It might be a dissociative amnesia or traumatic amnesia or worse both." The doctor told making the trip gasp in horror.

Dismayed Ayaan held his wife's hand. He wasn't ready to lose her, not again. It took 11 months for the fate to unite them again, now he will fight.

"We don't know much about her health conditions Doctor. I will ask her parents and inform you tomorrow." Kaushalya replied and thanked the doctor for coming in time.

"Doctor, when she will wake up?"

"It may take a few hours. I gave her a sedative as her condition was completely defining her lack of sleep." The doctor replied and handed the prescription to Kaushalya.

Vasudev walked with doctor till down and thanked her again.

"Ayaan, Who is Roshini?" Kaushalya asked him. Her tone was stern and so was her posture. She never saw her son this vulnerable.

"My wife." His answer was simple and complex at the same time.

"Which wife?" She looked away when his eyes held the hurt regarding her question.

"My only wife."

It was a fresh day for Ayaan. Mathew was already straining his body in the gym and he was busy looking at the stats.

"Ayaan, there is someone asking for you." Mathew yelled and Ayaan sighed and got up.

"You can't live a minute without disturbing me." Mathew chuckled and stuck out his tongue.

"Stop chatting with my sister, she is spoiling you." Ayaan seethed.

"I will complain to the head office."

"Babu, you don't forget that you're staying with me. In the end, it's me." Ayaan whispered in a devilish tone and Mathew frowned.

The landline interrupted his quick punch to his friend and he answered it.

"Ayaan sir, there is someone asking you." The watch man cross checked the information.

"Okay, I'm coming." Ayaan walked down. He preferred walking over anything.

What happened to Roshini? And ig you all can presume who is she now!

One. I don't much about Amnesia, I just goggled the information and wrote it only after I'm sure that the conditions match with my plot. If not, you can ignore it or correct me.

There will be some glimpses of the past from now and some confrontations.
