Chapter 6: 𝐼𝑉

"Close your mouth brat , you'll catch a fly". He winked at her.

With that Jason grabbed Lily's hand and dragged her outside the cafeteria. 'Well there goes my lunch' Lily thought.

"You know I can walk by myself ? Why the heck are you dragging me behind you?" Lily complained.

"I'm not dragging you, you just have short legs and can't keep up"

"I'm not short you're the buffoon giant here"

"Buffoon giant , really?"

"Yes really, I'm one hundred seventy centimeters and that's considered average "

"Yeah yeah whatever helps you sleep at night "

Lily's stomach chose the perfect time to grumble and Lily was horrified by how loud the sound was. Since she was late in the morning, she didn't have time to eat breakfast.

Jason couldn't keep a straight face and his lips twitched with amusement as he tried to stop himself from laughing out loud.

Lily's cheeks reddened in embarrassment "Don't you dare and laugh" She raised her finger at him threateningly.

Jason raised his hands in defense "What would you like to eat miss attitude?"

"Aren't you so sweet defending me and now offering to feed me?"

"Don't push your luck. I just don't want to be eaten by that monster" he said, referring to her stomach.

"Shut- "

Before Lily had the chance to finish it Jason placed his hand on her mouth shushing her. "Now, now what did I say about telling me to shut up, bratty?"

Lily glared at him and licked his palm, but that didn't faze Jason, he already saw that coming . But what he didn't predict was her somehow biting on a small part of the inside of his hand.

"What the fuck?"

"That's what you get for closing my mouth you... donkey"

"You should find better offending words, little dog" Jason said while wiping his hand on his pants.

"Whatever"

"Let's feed you maybe you're mood will change and you'll stop being a brat"

"Haha funny" Lily mocked.

"Are you on your-"

"Don't you dare finish that sentence"

"Jeez alright chill"

Jason sat in front of Lily and watched as she was too focused on her food. They were now sat in the school garden under the shadow of an Oak tree.

"How come you're at my school a week after I met you? Are you stalking me?"

"The world doesn't revolve around you , spoiled boy. It's a school for everyone , not your school"

"Well technically it is my school and it's not for everyone"

"Oh yes sorry I forgot it's only for rich snobby kids. And what do you mean by it's your school? Last time I checked this school belongs to the kings"

"Well you're not wrong about that- oh wait you're one of the scholarship students aren't you?"

"Aren't you so smart?"

"How rude , I broke a guy's nose for you and you're being mean"

"No one told you to interfere, Hercules. But thank you either way"

"Don't worry about it , I'd do it again. I wanted a reason to punch that motherfucker anyways"

"Won't you get in trouble for that though?"

"Not really, maybe a lecture from my dad , but other than that I'm good "

"Wow, rich people's life is easy"

"Not really , our school is strict about the rules. But of course not on me, perks of owning the school " he winked.

"Wait, are you for real? Like you're really one of the kings?"

"For a girl with a scholarship you're surely slow"

"Hey , I thought you were joking. Wow Jason King is my friend?"

"I know right ? You should be honored"

"I'm so honored, your highness" Lily bowed.

"Good servant" Jason patted her hair and she swatted it away.

"It's the first day of school and I'm already done with it , good thing you're here to entertain me"

"I'm not your clown"

"No, you're my dog"

"Donkey" Lily childly replied .

"I bet you're one of those good girl with great marks that has never skipped a class and finish her homework the second she's home"

"I do not finish them directly, I eat first"

"See, I knew it ,such a good girl"

"Fine let's make a deal then"

"Oh really? I'm listening"

"You help me make this year special and unforgettable"

"What do I get in return?"

"You can order me to finish ten bets and if I don't fulfill any of them ,you can decide what my punishment will be"

"Interesting , but are you sure you want to do this? This is a big step for a good girl"

"I'm hundred percent sure"

"Well there's no going back anymore, you did this to yourself"

"Deal?" Lilt offered her hand to shake his.

"Deal" Jason said , shaking her hand in return.

"I should head to my class now" Lily said.

"Alright this is going to be your first bet, skip the rest of your classes and come with me"

"Where to?"

"No questions , so you accept your dare or what?"

"What if parents find out?"

"Don't worry about that , leave it to me I'll deal with it"

"Okay, let's go Mr. Bad boy"

"Remember,you got yourself into this shit"

"I'm already regretting it"

Jason chuckled at that and led her to his car.

"Have you ever tried skinny dipping ?" Jason asked as they left the school grounds.

"No!" Lily exclaimed " Don't tell me this is your dare?"

"Chill I was just joking"

Lily exhaled and tried to calm down.

"What's your biggest fear?"

"I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours"

"I fucking hate snakes since I was a kid, had a bad experience with them"

"Tell me about it"

"Never"

"Oh come on! Pretty please "

"No "Jason said unbothered.

"Ugh, fun killer"

"Your turn"

"I'm scared of heights"

Jason had an evil smirk on his face and Lily regretted telling him.

"Why do I feel like I shouldn't have told you this"

"Well you really shouldn't"

"That's comforting to know" Lily said sarcastically.

Twenty minutes Later the car came to a halt on too of a mountain.

"Are you planning on killing me?"

"Maybe. Come on drama queen let's go" Jason said exiting the car. They walked a bit further and stopped next to a wide opening that overlooked the city . The view was breathtaking.

"Hey man" Jason greeted a guy and started talking to him while Lily kept her distance and stared at the view instead.

"Come on let's get you ready"

"Get me ready for what"

"That" Jason pointed at a parachute flying somewhere above the city.

"No way in hell I'm riding that!" Lily shook her head.

"You can't say no ,remember?"

"I'll take the punishment, thanks"

"Oh come on don't be a coward "

"Coward? I just told you I have a phobia from heights"

"We shouldn't let our fear control us"

Lily looked back at the flying parachute before sighing and licking her lips . She was trying to make up her mind and mastering all the courage she had she accepted.

" Fine I'll do it".

"You'll thank me later, you'll see"

The guy explained the safety procedures and what they should do. Lily was to go first, of course with a coche, and Jason will go after.

The second Lily flew in the air she screamed on top of her lungs as her heart dropped " Jason I hate you!"

"You did it !" Jason cheered for her and she smiled softly at that despite her racing heart.

Lily would've never seen herself doing such a thing , not even in a million years, but she had to admit that it was such an amazing feeling. Flying above the whole city , the fresh air caressing her face , feeling a new sense of freedom was something everyone needed to try.

"I can't believe you made me do that" Lily told Jason the moment he landed.

"You're welcome, Fiore"

"It's a miracle I didn't puke all the food you fed me while up there"

"Imagine it landing on someone's head , that would be epic"

"That's no funny" Lily absolutely hates the feeling of almost choking while puking.

"But it is"

"Weirdo"

"Look who's talking"

"Whatever, can we go get ice cream to celebrate this amazing achievement of mine?"

"You just said you're going to puke?"

"No, I said I WAS going to puke"

"I still hope you puked"

"Can we stop talking about puking and just get an ice cream. Also what's your favorite flavor?"

"I'm not a big fan of ice cream, but when I do eat ice cream it's when my sister forces me to eat with her and it's always vanilla ice cream"

"Aww aren't you such a cute teddy bear?" Lily teased.

"Shut up"

"Never. I'm going to start calling you Jasey bear"

"Don't you dare."

"Okay... Jasey bear" Lily pushed his head lightly ,running away before he could catch her and kill her.

The sounds of their laughter filled the place as Jason caught Lily and tickled her till she couldn't breathe anymore.

A peaceful heartwarming moment to savor.
