Some weeks later~~~~~~
Ishanvi's POV
I got the hold of Rudransh's pillow and spread my right arms on that side and put the pillow on that arms and tried to sleep but again I felt something wet on my palm. It tickled, making me smile, well it was Leo. I slowly opened my eyes adjusting to the apricity. The golden rays coming from the windows directly slapped my face really hard, making me groan.
I don't like this at all. I sat up straight and threw that pillow in the other side of the room. I looked at Leo sitting there on the side of the bed and saw Leo looking at me with attentiveness.
"Aavi ja!!" I pat towards the other side of the bed and Leo climbed upon the bed. I took the remote of the curtains from the bedside and closed the curtain again and slept to get my beauty sleep.
[Come!!]

I pulled my blanket upon myself as I felt something pulling it. Was it................................................................ the conjuring ghost?(Sorry, don't mind your author) I sat up straight... just to clench my fist and take a deep breath to calm myself as the urge to kick this dear hubby of mine out of the room as it was getting way too impossible to control. Right now.
I know being a doctor myself, we give others advice to have vitamin D but at last I'm a human too. And all this was surely done by this dear hubby of mine. Idiot. Luccha! Goshhh he just loves to irritate me in the morning. I moved my hand to grab the remote of the curtains. But it just wasn't present there.
[Clever!]
"Noooo..put it back Anvi. It's time for you to wake up. Put. It. Back. Anvi!" Rudransh spoke the last sentence in a stern tone when I was going to reach it.
"Aaa... Naiiiiiii" I let out a groan when I saw him smiling at me with his dimples being showcased at full. I gave him a done look. (I really don't think you need translation for naiiiii. Byeee!)
"I'm going to sleep back!!" I did the brush-off hand thing and was about to sleep back when I was pulled back into something hard. And it was my dear idiotic hubby pulling me in his arms, attached to his chest. I gasp sharply and circle my arms around his neck.
"I wanted to sleepppp!!" I said lazily, in a desperate need of sleep and placed my head on his chest while glaring at him. I took back my arms and folded them in the front.
"I apologise my lady for this very cruel interruption of mine but later you would have regretted waking up late. You have surgery, you remember miss neurologist!" He reminded as I widened my eyes.
"Oh duck! I forgot!" He placed me right in front of the bathroom doorstep. Just as I was to close the door, I opened it and kissed his right cheeky while mumbling a thanks. He stood there rooted and then looked at me in a way a child looked at his mother when not getting his favourite liking thing.

In the hospital,
"It is a succes, congrats!!" A cry tore through the room's tense atmosphere and it was the baby's. I held it in my arms just for it to hold my last finger in its small baby hand. It was hardly covering my finger. It is a she. It is hella blissful. I handed over the baby to the nurse and passed her an instruction to get it stabilized a little.
[This much information only because your author ain't a medical student!]
I took out my hat and rubber blue hand gloves as I gave a high five to the one beside me and congratulated my team for our straight 6 hours hardwork. I washed my hands in the washroom basin in the OT. The cold water touched my hand, making me shiver a little at the cool liquid touching my hand.
I walked out of the OT and saw the baby's family sitting there on the metal seats. As soon as they saw me, the father came and asked me if the baby was fine.
"She is healthy, but just need to a little more care about the baby. The nurse will lead you to my office and I'll explain to you the necessary precautions." I calmly said while the father nodded but then the old lady who stood there beside him interrupted me,
"She?" She asked with a tense expression covering her face.
"Yes, mam. It a girl!" I said and a tear struck down her face and a smile showing her 32 teeth was spread across her face. The father hugged her
"It's a girl!!"And both of them shared a comfort while hugging each other.
"How's the mother?" The old lady quickly asked.
"She's fine too. She'll soon be shifted in her room." I gave her a smile and said.
I walked towards my cabin, passing through the long corridors of the hospital. These pale blue coloured walls are some of the most horrifying places with so many unsaid, unwilling goodbyes bid. How ironic to have people cry out of happiness and agony at the same time, at the same place. The place where some cry out of agony whereas some out of happiness, how bad would the opposite feel for those who cry in pain, and how would those feel when the ones in pain feel for the happy ones. Mahadev just protect them.
I pushed out all those thoughts aside as I entered my cabin, I sank and snuggled into my chair due to the heavy weight of the responsibility. I closed my eyes for a few good minutes and released a sigh. Well this was a difficult one. I sat there for a while and cracked my back muscles followed by my finger knuckles.
Soon a knock was heard and it was the baby's father. I told him to take the seat and explained the necessity of how she and the mother should be taken taken care of since the baby was a little too weak.

I took up the intercom on the desk and called my assistant after the little meet with the baby's father. I opened my hair, making them fall back on my back, well they've grown a lot now, and ran a hand through it. She knocked on the door and entered upon hearing my permission.
"Good evening, ma'am." She spoke in a calm tone while bowing a little in front of me. I gestured to her to take the seat in front. I frowned at the time clause that she used, evening but well being inside the OT for straight hours, you just don't know how much time you have spent there. But it was worth it. Both the baby and mother were safe and sound.
"Do I have anything up after the check ups?" I yawned at the end of the sentence and rested my head in my palms on the table.
"No ma'am. Nothing is there, but your regular round." She looked at the tab in her hand then denied.
"You can leave. You should probably just go home, it's your leaving time." I told her after looking at my watch and passed her a smile as she gave me one.

I was sitting in the back seat while checking some files on my phone when it showed a message from Manthan. Just as I was about to read the message, Manthan called me.
"There's a meeting that you have to attend and maybe a party too, agar tane aav hoy toj. I've texted you the location and information about it, you have to do nothing but bas time par aav'je. It will start in forty minutes, exact." He asserted the sentence in one breath, seems like he's running somewhere.
[There's a meeting that you have to attend and maybe a party too, only if you want to attend. I've texted you the location and information about it, you have to do nothing but only you have to be there on time. It will start in forty minutes, exact.]
"Why the hell are panting!? Chill for a second." I told him.
"Jho taro bairo chhe, maro nathi! Tane cho'di dese pan Mari gh*n fadi nak'he. Jammen aakash no farak chhe. Bye, I'm running late." He cut the call without even hearingy response. Gando chok'ro.
[Silly boy]
[See, he's your husband, not mine. He will spare you but not me. There's a huge difference. Bye, I'm running late.]
And just as I put my phone down, I got a incoming call from Arjun. I picked it up, just for me to get cut off in between.
"Hello, bhabhi apne pati ko sambha'lo. Sab'ko pagal kar raha hai yeh, gadha. Kab'ka order diye ja raha hai woh bhi subhe se, hellooo bol kyu nahi rahe-"
[Hello, bhabhi just handle your husband. He's making everyone go mad, idiot. He's been passing orders to everyone that too since morning, hellooo why aren't you speaking anything-]
"Wait for a second Arjun. Take a deep breath-" I answered him.
"Howww!???" He spoke in an annoyed tone, the one showing desperation and nocalmness.
"Just wait, tell me what happened?"
"*Sigh* as you know, there's this meeting occuring right.*I hum* Yeah, very good. So your this workaholic husband has been ordering everyone since the morning with some of them fired, you know.... No just call him and calm him down. The entire building has been kept on its feet."
"Just wait Arjun, I'll be there in 5 minutes and till then try to just not disturb him." I cut the call and told the driver uncle to drive fast. It was a drive of only 10 mins and I reached the company.
I walked towards the private elevator while the employees passed me smiles and bowed a little in respect or should I say authority I have over this place. Gossh I smirked at the thought and come on why not, my hubby my place. While lost in my own thoughts, I had already reached the floor. As i stepped outside the elevator, the guards at the side took up myself sides and the receptionist stood in her place, just to sit again as I gestured her as.
"Is he in the office!?" I asked him, the receptionist. Yes, him. Because why have bitter bees around when you can have sweet bees. Simple as that. He nodded and I gave him a curt nod. I walked towards his office room and just as I was about to open the door, the door opened and I was pulled inside with a force.
I placed my hand on the first surface that I could've reached for, for support. I was met with the familiar scent yet a tight, emotion exchanging hug. I circled my arms around him and placed my chin on his head as he had his head in my neck. He snuggled more into my embrace, leaving no space for the air to pass through. I massaged his hair and nape a little to release his stress a bit.
"Can we move to the couch?" And just as I quoth it, I felt myself being lifted up and gasp softly. Soon in no time, I was on the side of the couch with him lying completely on it with his head on my lap. He soon turned his face towards my stomach and circled his arms there. I laid my head fully back on the neck rest of it.

A little later we were woken up by the annoying ring of his phone. It was Arjun calling. I tapped on his shoulder to wake him up just for him to groan in annoyance and turn his face to the other side. I leaned forward and picked up the phone.
"Hello.." I said lazily while yawning a little.
"Hello, bhabhi!!" He addressed me.
"Ha bolo!"
"Rudransh kidhar hai? Usko jaldi se phone do na! Urgent hai!!" He said in urgency and I again tapped on his shoulder to wake him up.
[Where is Rudransh? Give the phone to him quickly! It is urgent!!]
Once.
"Rudransh.." no response.
Twice.
"Rudraa!!" This time too no response.
Thrice.
"Rudransh!!" Aeeyyy enough. I called and pulled his hair with a little force. Gossh where is his light sleeper self. He opened his eyes and straighten himself while comfortably sitting beside me and immediately put the phone on his ear, being extremely attentive.
I leaned back and placed my head on his shoulder and decided to take a little nap while he was talking to Arjun, the rest of the world can tell leva jaay! No problem can even think to linger around me when he is with me. Kai'aj chinta vaat nathi! And with that I closed my eyes......
[Go to hell!]
[Nothing to worry!]
