Myla had worked hard here for a few years. After Hana finally left the company, Myla had a chance. But Judith came back from the branch company and became the director. Myla refused to accept the truth.
Judith quickly browsed through all the topics in her mind. She turned off the computer and walked out of the office without looking at Myla.
Myla was flustered and she followed behind Judith.
âMs. Whiteâ¦â Judith turned around and looked at Myla coldly. She knew that Myla had done it on purpose. Judith sneered and said seriously, âMyla, remember, you are not working for me. You are working for the Taylor Group. âItâs your job. Before I got off work yesterday, I told you to prepare the information for this meeting. But you said you had forgotten about it. Donât forget that you get paid by the Taylor Group.â After Judith finished speaking, she walked towards the elevator. She stood very straight.
Myla stood in place, looking at Judithâs back at a loss. What Judith said was right. Myla knew she had made a very stupid mistake. Standing opposite them, Edwin had seen everything. Alaina followed Judith.
But Ann and Sherly didnât move. Edwin retracted his gaze and glanced at Ann and Sherly. âYour boss has gone to the meeting room. Itâs your first day at work. Do you want to be late?â âJudith is just a director. Itâs not a big deal.â Sherly couldnât stand Judithâs indifferent and arrogant look. After Judith left, Sherly spoke without thinking. When Edwin heard this, he frowned slightly and mocked, âJudith is the design director. I have to rely on her new products to keep my job. So, if you want to quit,â Edwin painted at the elevator, âtake the elevator and get lost immediately. The sight of you makes me sick.â âMr. Young, youâ¦â Sherly looked at Edwin and felt a strong sense of humiliation. Damn Edwin, why was he so stubborn? Sherly was confident about herself. She was pretty, sexy, and rich. She was much better than Judith! But why did Edwin dislike her? Every time Sherly met Edwin, she would receive humiliation Ann did not say anything. She turned around and walked to the elevator.
She could not stir up trouble now.
Edwin walked towards Myla. Frank was not here. Now Edwin was in charge. âWhatâs going on? Youâre Ms. Whiteâs assistant. She went to the meeting. Why are you standing here?â Edwin said in a cold voice.
He narrowed his eyes and looked serious.
âIâ¦â Myla wanted to say something but hesitated. She looked up at Edwin with grievance and defended herself, âEdwin, I didnât prepare the meeting information that Ms. White wanted. She said it very vaguely yesterday, and I didnât understand what she meant ⦠Soâ¦â
