FIFTEEN

Paige knocked on Robin's door and was quickly pulled in by Robin. The blonde was out of breath from running all the way to her dorm, her hair was going all sorts of ways, which caused Robin to laugh out loud.

"Do not laugh at me, birdie!" Paige exclaimed with a pout as she smoothed out her hair, "I didn't want you to open email without me!"

Robin laughed, pulling her girl in for a hug, "Baby, I wouldn't have opened the email without you."

They hugged for a moment, soaking in one another. Paige could feel how fast Robin's heart was beating as the nervousness overcame her. This was the moment she was waiting for and now that it was here, fear was the most present emotion. Opening this email meant the beginning of a new journey for Robin. She'd prayed continuously for this moment her entire life, and the contents of this email would reveal whether or not her dreams would come true.

"Breathe, baby," Paige said, rubbing her hands up and down her back. The sole reason the blonde had wanted to be there was to be Robin's confidant. She'd known how important this was to her girlfriend, and she was desperate to support in any way she could.

The blonde already knew that her girlfriend would be admitted into the medical program. She'd watched how Robin had always dedicated most of her time to her studies. Throughout her time being at UCONN, her GPA had never fallen under 3.9. She took her studies seriously, which inspired Paige a lot.

"Let's call your mom?" Paige said, pulling away from Robin, who nodded. She quickly facetimed her mother and called Harley out of her room.

Surrounded by the people that she loved, Robin felt some of her anxiety disappear. Of course, her heart still continued to beat against her chest and her palms were drenched with sweat, but she knew that her support system was there through anything.

"You got this, Button!" Sandra spoke through the phone, a big smile across her face as she watched her daughter pull out her laptop. Robin opened her email, and hovered over the email that was sent by University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Her nerves were everywhere. Harley placed her hand on Robin's shoulder, giving it a light squeeze while Paige sat next to her, her hand on her thigh. It took her a while to press the email, but she finally did.

Ms. Robin Ali,

We are delighted to inform you that the Committee of Admissions has voted to offer you a place in the first-year class of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Health Sciences and Athletic Training M.D Program entering in Fall 2025!

This year over 1,500 candidates applied for this position and you have been one of the thirty that have been selected. With so many talented and highly qualified candidates, the Committee of Admissions had the very difficult task of selecting the individuals, like you, with the most outstanding intellectual and personal qualities!

That was all Robin read aloud before screaming out loud. Everyone around her, and her mother, cheered alongside her with proud smiles. Everyone knew that Robin would be selected for the program. There was no doubt about it.

Tears ran down Robin's face as Paige and Harley embraced her. Sandra watched from the phone, with her own emotions taking over.

This was all she wanted for her little girl. She needed her to be happy, healthy, and successful. While they were not dealt a perfect hand of cards, Sandra did everything she could to make sure that Robin's needs were satisfied. She worked tirelessly at the local hospital back in Alabama to support her girl, paying thousands for volleyball camps and science courses. Whatever Robin showed interest in, her mother made sure that she had the ability to explore them.

So, as she watched her daughter celebrate with her best friend and girlfriend, she let out the breath she'd been holding since Corey left. Throughout all the years, Sandra had this fear that she was not doing enough, but now, those thoughts were proved wrong.

"I am so proud of you, Button! We are going to Dallas!" Sandra exclaimed, the smile never leaving her face. Robin grabbed the phone, crying and showing her mom the email.

"I know, mama!" Robin said, smiling so hard that her cheeks began to burn. Harley pulled her into a tight hug, expressing how much she loved her and how much pride she had for her.

Next to pull her in an embrace was Paige, who sweetly kissed her. She pulled away, setting her forehead onto her girlfriend's, "I had no doubts about it, birdie."

A few hours had passed and Robin could not stop reading the acceptance note. She sat on the couch with her leg in Paige's lap, her eyes scanning over the email again. The smile never left her face since she'd found out.

Paige tore her eyes away from the TV and onto her girlfriend. She smiled as she watched her stare at the laptop. She'd already known that Robin was still reading over the message in shock, and she did not blame her. This was a huge accomplishment.

"I'm so proud of you," Paige spoke, her hands rubbing Robin's legs, "Like, this is huge, baby. My girlfriend is going to be a doctor."

Robin smiled, closing her laptop and placing it on the table next to her, "Thank you, P for everything."

"There is nowhere else I would rather be than here with you. Celebrating with you."

Robin smiled and moved to hover over Paige. She looked into her bright blue eyes, admiring her simplistic beauty. The blonde did not have to do much to take her girlfriend's breath away. The two women loved each other fiercely. But, the thoughts of their future still plagued their minds.

"I love you." Robin spoke out, looking down at her girl. Her hands found their way to her hair, pulling the ponytail out and releasing her blonde strands. Her hands massaged her scalp and played with her hair.

"I love you." Paige responded, her hands resting on Robin's thighs, rubbing them slowly. "So much."

"Really?" Robin said, cocking her head to the side and giving her a smirk.

"Mhm," Paige responded, her eyes admiring  how the tank top her girlfriend wore clung to her chest. "You need me to show you?"

"Yes, please," Robin said, leaning in and capturing the girl in a kiss. They battled for dominance, but Paige ended up winning, picking her girlfriend up effortlessly and taking them into Robin's room.

Paige softly placed Robin on the bed before going to take off her graphic tee, leaving her in her Nike sports bra and basketball shorts. She resumed kissing her girlfriend, prying the tank top off of her body. Robin's top half was left bare. She wasn't a huge fan of bras, so whenever she could, she didn't wear one, which Paige loved.

Easy access.

Paige continued to kiss down her girlfriend's body, showing attention to Robin's chest. She left marks and bites all down her chest and stomach, stopping at her waistband.

"Can I have a taste?" Paige asked with a smirk, and Robin returned the smile.

"Just a little one." She responded, pulling off the shorts that she had on.

Paige didn't waste any time before attacking Robin's body, sucking on her girlfriend's sensitive flesh. Moans erupted from the volleyball player as she pushed Paige's head deeper into her. Her hips rocked against the blonde's tongue, the feeling euphoric. It sent shock waves through her body, and while it was overstimulating, Robin didn't want it to stop.

There was a stark difference between the two women when it came to their sex life. While Paige was more submissive, allowing her girlfriend to do anything to her body, Robin loved control. She knew what to do for not only herself, but to get Paige off as well.

The way she moved her body right now was egging Paige on more, making her want to please Robin more. So, she inserted a finger causing the curly headed girl's back to arch of the bed, a shout escaping her mouth. The double stimulation was sending Robin over the edge.

"You like that?" Paige asked, pulling away from to look up at her girl, which caused Robin to run her hands through her blonde hair. She was still moving against her fingers.

Robin nodded, causing Paige to stop. Confused, she opened her eyes to see why she'd stopped.

"I need to hear your words." Paige asserted, her fingers still inside of Robin, who smirked at her dominance.

"I love it, baby," Robin responded, looking into her girls eyes. Paige returned to her original actions, satisfied by her response.

Her mouth and fingers were double teaming Robin and she couldn't hold on any longer. Her hips bucked against Paige's mouth, her all time high coming and she couldn't control her actions. The blonde was satisfied that she could get her girlfriend to this point

"Open." She demanded, causing Robin to open her mouth and Paige to put her fingers inside of her mouth.

Robin did as she was told and she loved this side of her girlfriend.

"Robin Ali, you're going to be the death of me, baby." Paige stated, passionately kissing her girlfriend, who kissed back eagerly.
