Chapter 27

A few weeks had passed, and this pregnancy was getting tiring, the four little ones would not stop kicking, pushing and moving. It was getting me annoyed. I was also summoned to bed rest, luckily Becca and my brothers were still here to look after me in these hard times. Too bad they were ready to leave for England, but that’s all good because I was going with them.

I could not miss their party before the wedding I was so excited to head back. They were going to have a traditional human wedding because Becca had friends and distant family from the human world and she wanted everyone to attend the wedding. It was going to be a big one, so I could not miss it. Cole and Chris are worried about me because they fear the baby would be harmed if I go overseas, but I would not let that happen. And my doctor is coming with me just in case, I did not want to cause any inconvenience, but Chris insisted and Cole followed even with the glare I gave him.

"Nica, are you ready to go?" Cole asked, coming from behind me. "We need to catch the flight." He kissed be on the cheek and smiled. Chris leaned on the door way, waiting, he had already put the things in the car and now everyone was waiting on me. I wanted to be comfortable on the journey, but I had to keep an image as queen therefore my clothes had to be presentable although my tailor really does an awesome job.

"Yep, let's go." I said. They have been rushing all around for me. My cravings had been strange, very strange. They have also been full of alpha duties, I missed them sometimes, but they tried to be with me as much as they could, and that was all I needed. They continuously touched my stomach, getting a reaction out of the little ones. They were the only ones that can do so. Plus Becca has been the best friend I could have, it really helped to have her around. When the babies are born we will have to get a nanny, knowing that Cole, Chris are going to be busy, and even I have to pick up duties, however those duties are not going to come between me and our little ones. I'm so glad we got the clear from my doctor to go overseas; I don’t know what I would have done if I was not able to make it.

"Watch your step babe." Cole warned, I glared at him. "Sorry, you just looked a bit distant in your thoughts." He said avoiding my eyes. Yeah I still had bad mood swings, but they were normal. They could be very worst, but I learnt to control them quickly… well as much as I can.

We boarded the plane; Chris caressed my hair , while Cole was massaging my feet, tingles spread from their touch to my feet. They knew how to comfort me and God did it feel good. I fell asleep. Thank God this was our private jet, which had rooms and a bed or else my neck would be paying the price when I wake up. I woke up on the mattress Cole and Chris laid beside me. They looked exhausted so I felt so happy that they were getting some rest. They were still transitioning into the role of a king. They are amazing at it, and I would not have it any other way. They were so cute I kissed their cheeks softly before making my way over them, and out of the room to the main area.

"Hey." Someone said making me jump.

"Becca, you know I scare easily." I said trying to even out my breathing; my heart was beating at an erratic speed. Everyone knew I am very easy to scare, yet they still insisted on scaring me witless.

"Sorry, couldn’t sleep?" she asked me, sounding very tired.

"No, I have been doing enough of that lately. How about you, are you excited?"

"I don’t know. I have tried to plan everything from the palace, but your mother has taken care of everything at home and even though I totally trust her, I'm still scared. I don’t know if everything has gone according to plan. What if something goes wrong? There is only three days to the wedding, and I am feeling so much pressure to make everything perfect. Gosh, Andy and Alex seem so laid back and perfect, like nothing could go wrong, and here I am stressing out, you get what I'm saying…" she said rambling on. The best thing to do was to let her speak and let her emotions flow. I sat and listened.

"Becca! Breathe."

"Easy for you to say, you only had a small ceremony, though it was with the most important people from our world. Why did I have to follow human traditions?"

"Becca, you know mother is taking care of everything, she would make sure everything is perfect. I bet she is freaking out more than you. You don’t have to worry; you will have the wedding you always wanted and deserve." I reassured her.

I know this because she will always talk about her wedding and how she wanted it to be when she was younger, she wanted everything perfect. While I was on bed rest I helped mum out a bit and told her what kind of things Becca would like.

"Are you sure?" she asked, her eyes wide, looking as worried as a little girl who lost her favourite teddy bear.

"Yes Rebecca, now go to sleep. You are look tired." I said with a smile.

"Thanks Nica, you have really been there to help me. I love you." She said walking out of the main room, leaving me with my thoughts.

All of a sudden I got a kick. We did not know the sex of the babies yet. We wanted it to be a surprise. We painted the rooms a unisex colour. They all share one room because we did not want to separate them, I just have a feeling they will be stronger together, my little ones. I rubbed my stomach sending good thoughts to them, calming them down. For the rest of the journey I was alone, but happy with my thoughts.

We landed straight on the castle's landing strip which dad said they built not too long ago, but it was very convenient, seeing as I just wanted to go straight home and see my mother and father. I have not seen them in a while and I missed them. We walked into the palace and I saw my mother and father in the foyer holding hands with welcoming smiles. They looked happy, very happy.

"Nica, darling you are glowing." My mother says coming towards me with arms spread. I hugged her back happily.

"Hello darling, how was your flight?" dad said also coming to give me a hug.

"It was fine dad." I said as he released me out of his embrace.

"That’s good. Kings, I hope you are doing fine. Becca, your dress is upstairs if you want to try it on. It's beautiful. Dinner should be ready soon although tonight is the engagement party." My mother said in a businesslike tone. She is going to be rushing around for the next days.

"OMG, my dress!" Becca said running upstairs to the room. My brothers knew better than to follow her up. She had this superstition about them seeing the dress and bad luck. Yeah, some of her family are humans, so she carries these weird beliefs. Very entertaining though.

"Grandma and grandpa is here, they wanted to see you because they missed you last time." My father said. I nodded and followed him out to one of the castles sitting rooms.

"Hello Nica dear." My grandmother greeted me with a welcoming smile which was copied to my grandfather's face. I felt the power radiating from them. They were on my father's side, my mother's parents died at a young age.  I smiled at them.

"You are very powerful dear. Your babies will each carry elements, they will be stronger together. Do not separate them." My grandfather said, with a bit or warning in his voice.

"Why do you say so grandpa?" I asked worried. What was happening?

"Your grandfather is very good on instinct." My father said with a warm smile.

"Don’t worry, they will stay together." I said with a smile.

"Good." My grandpa said.

"Enough of this talk, what is the palace like? We have not been there in a long time, although I have heard of Lock Hart's beauty." My Ma said. My father and grandfather excused themselves not wanting to hear us have a feminine chat.

"It is beautiful; I have to get out more, once these babies are born. I defiantly need to do more exploring." We talked more for a while, before I went to find my mates. They were caught in conversation with my mother when I interrupted.

"We are going to get settled in." I told my mother before she told me to do something. I was getting tired on me feet. She nodded and my mates and I went up to our room. As soon as we got there I laid on the bed feeling very comfortable.  Cole and Chris stripped down to their boxers and crawled towards me, making me laugh damn they were making me feel hot. When they reached they were closer to me, they started growling, that made me feel even hotter. They started unzipping and unbutton my clothes, until I was naked. Cole placed kisses all over my naked body, while Chris captured my lips with his, moving to my neck. I felt special, loved and needed. Their hands stayed on my large stomach, my babies kicked at their father's touches and kisses.

The engagement party was beginning and was taken place in the palace's garden. The garden looked magnificent lights around the trees, a massive tent. The fountain was lighting up and the water was flowing so beautifully out of the old stones. Waterfalls and fountains urged me to use my water element my little ones kicked at the thought of me doing so. My mother sure knew throw to have a party. All werewolves were informed of the humans were invited here, and therefore could not do anything to show them of our existence. I was sitting for the most of it Cole and Chris stayed at my side, rubbing the back of my hands, with the occasional kisses. A lot of people came up to Cole Chris and me, bowing excitedly to meet us. It would have been strange, but I was use to it. Although I did not want us to take the attention away from my best friend and brother's party, however it was unacceptable not to bow or greet us.

Becca looked beautiful and my brothers looked so happy. Their smiles lighten up the whole place. Although I could sense that Becca was a tiny bit unhappy that she could not tell all of her family why she had two, soon to be, husbands. Some of her friends did not come because they did not understand the honest love they shared between themselves. Those that did come were happy for her, confused, but happy. I however understood them, it is inhumane to have three partners, even though we were not humans, we were considered one to any humans.

Everyone was having so much fun, there was dancing and a little bit of wine. Cole and Chris went to mingle just as my father approached me.

"Hey darling."

"Hello dad, how have you been?" I asked

"Good, good, but I'm not the one ready to drop." He said laughing. "How are you princess?"

"I'm fine daddy. I have no patience left the little ones are tiring me out, and they're not even here yet." I said laughing.

"That is the same thing your mother said when she was pregnant with you. Poor thing, she did, however had this glow just like you." He said. He looked sad knowing I did not grow up with my mother. That I did not have a strong role models as a teen, and that even when I did get it all, I had to go. But I was happy because that’s what made me, me. I just simply smiled at him.

"You will always be my baby girl." He said with a smile. He got up and went to ask mother for a dance with a bow, she curtsied and then began to dance. They were so cute in each other's arms. I really wish I saw this growing up.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Chris said walking up to me with Cole both sharing a charming smile.

"Oh I was just thinking, I wish I saw this then growing up." I said pointing to my parents smiling and dancing.

"You are very strong Nica." Cole said, kissing my temple. I leaned into him smiling.

"I couldn’t have done it without both of you. When I saw you Cole, I felt so happy, but when I met you Chris, I felt complete. You both are my life, I was about to give up that day, but then you found me. But you brought me to my family. Thank you." I said. I fell asleep leaning on Cole, I think Chris carried be up while Cole said goodnight for us. I snuggled closer in my mate's arms as I drifted deeper in sleep.
