Chapter 5 : Date or date?

"Tae! How much more time are you going to take?" Jungkook asked with a pout on his face, facing towards Taehyung who was busy applying perfume. "Just two more minutes, baby. Gotta fix my hair a little."
"And that won't take jUsT tWo MoRe MiNuTeS." Jungkook rolled his eyes as he picked up the car keys and exited the house with the same pout on his face while Taehyung giggled in the background, seeing Jungkook's childish reactions.
Fixing his hair, which definitely didn't take two minutes, Taehyung walked out of the house and took a look at the now-frustrated Jungkook who was waiting for him, standing beside the car and looking at the dim sky. He slowly walked towards him and hugged him from behind. "Ay, little bunny. Sorry, hun?" Taehyung said.
Jungkook freed himself from the hold of Taehyung and looked back at him with folded arms on his chest. "What sorry? You take so much time to get ready. Now get inside the car before it gets too late." Taehyung obeyed Jungkook's statement-cum-order and sat inside the car. Jungkook drove off as soon as he sat inside the car too.
It didn't take even twenty minutes for them to reach the designated restaurant. As they arrived at the place, they got out of the car and stood outside, looking at the beautifully decorated walls. Taehyung's jaw fell agape looking at the luminosity of the place and the fresh vibes it was giving.
"Wow, Kookâ¦â¦ this is really beautiful!" Taehyung exclaimed, more like chirped in happiness with glistening eyes as he admired the glowing scenario in front of him. "Hehe. Glad you liked the place I chose." Jungkook said before moving his hand forward and holding Taehyung's hand and taking him inside the restaurant with slow steps, letting him admire the entire location whole-heartedly.
As they both reached inside, Jungkook guided Taehyung to the chosen table for the night and made him sit carefully on the chair before sitting on the opposite side himself. Jungkook gestured to the waiters to bring the ordered cake. Taehyung's eyes widened looking at his favourite chocolate cake which was looking too delicious to resist at all.
"You know na I'm on diet! Yet you ordered something I can't resist at all!" Taehyung whined despite the happiness which was erupting from inside. "A cheat day won't matter much, you big bear. Moreover, it's our first one year anniversary of our friendship. Everything's valid for this day." Jungkook winked before passing a knife to Taehyung and getting up from his chair.
Taking out his phone from his pocket and setting up the scene to cut the cake, Jungkook clicked a picture with Taehyung together before continuing to wish each other. "Happy one year, stupid." Jungkook wished Taehyung.
"Happy one year, idiot." Taehyung wished back Jungkook before taking a piece of cake in his hands and feeding it to him. Once the cake was over, Jungkook asked the waiters to bring the dinner.
As the waiters brought the dishes and one of them displayed pizza in it, Taehyung couldn't help but squeal in happiness. "Pizza?! Wowwww!!" Jungkook looked at Taehyung acting like a baby in front of food. "Yeah. I knew you would like it." He chuckled before passing a slice of pizza to him.
While they both were just eating peacefully, a question shot through Taehyung's mind. "So is it a date or a date?" He asked. Jungkook shot a confused look at him. "As in?"
"Is it a couple's date, as people say that we look more of a couple than friends, or is it a friendship anniversary date's party?" He giggled as he explained. "I don't knowâ¦.maybe the second one?" Jungkook laughed as he replied, making Taehyung nod at him.
How good would it have been if it was the first oneâ¦â¦ Taehyung couldn't help state it in his heart. For he couldn't help but let it out at least inside himself if not out.
