I focus on deflecting Ultrons blasts as Steve continuously throws his shield into Ultrons body it doesn't seem to be hurting him... more like annoying him.
I grind my teeth as I'm not able to do anything. All my powers have to do with close-range and the only weapon I have is a dagger that won't do any real damage to Ultron.
Steve throws his shield into Ultrons chest.
"Stop it." Ultron growls, throwing Steve's shield off the truck. He then immediately blasts Steve out of sight. He floats towards me slowly.
"Now you. You can understand change, can't you?" He asks me.
"I can't understand the change you're trying to inflict." I say, holding out my hands, ready to use them if I get the chance.
"You know all. See all. You better than anyone should understand what I'm trying to do is going to save the world." He says, acting all high and mighty.
"I. Don't. See the future!" I growl out, pushing myself off the truck, latching my legs and arms around him. He struggles... a lot. I quickly place my fingertips on his chest. He's instantly stunned for a few moments as I'm short-circuiting his platinum body, giving Steve time to climb back up on the truck.
"Now I can't wait to kill you." Ultron gurgles out before grabbing me by the sides and throwing me off the side of the truck. I quickly grab onto the top of it as I currently dangle through the air. I faintly see Steve start fighting Ultron again.
Clint is giving Natasha directions on how to get to us through the coms but I'm barley paying attention until I hear Nat say,
"I'm always picking up after you boys." Causing me to laugh, even in such a dire situation.
"Picked up Steve's shield?" I ask in amusement.
"You know it." She says casually.
I tighten my grip on the truck before swinging my legs, trying to throw myself into the holding space of the truck, trying to throw myself in to get to the cradle. I stop seeing Nat race by me, throwing Caps shield up to him.
Steve smashes his shield against Ultron so that Ultron won't have him in a choke hold anymore. Ultron blasts the road making Nat stop in her tracks before following us again.
Three of Ultron's buddies come out and start shooting. I use this. I swing my legs- - just enough to latch onto one of the robots.
As the other two shoot at Nat, my weight makes the third stumble back before it crashes against the cradle. I tap at its mother board and shut it down. I turn back and see the other two standing there. Just staring at me.
"Well, lets go!" I yell with a smirk. They both instantly run at me. I jump, pushing myself off the cradle to sick kick a robot off the truck and it almost immediately gets smashed by a car. I don't focus on it much as I duck before the other robot can get me.
I roll forward, quickly tapping on its chest, moving out of the way as it tries to blast me before it falls down. I flip the hair out of my face and sigh in relief.
I jump back in shock as Steve tumbled on the road, causing people's cars to crash all around him before he jumps back onto the truck. Worry and panic spread through my chest as I wonder if those people are ok. I look down at the fast moving road.
"Tuck and roll." I mutter to myself before I jump, tucking and rolling myself like a log onto the streets and away from traffic. I stand up, groaning, probably gonna have some bruises. I rush over to the accident and start helping.
"Clint, can you draw out the guards?" Natasha asks.
"Let's find out." He says.
"They're actually taken care of." I nod, carefully getting people out of their cars before I kickstart their rapid healing.
I look hearing shooting and see Clint shooting at Ultron. Immediately the two remaining robots fly out, trying to protect Ultron.
"What?! Ultron you bitch!" I shout out. I had gone through a lot to shut those things off and he just turned them on again! I shake my head as I go over to the next car.
I quickly finish starting off their healing as the paramedics arrive.
"Nat, can you pick me up?" I ask.
"It's on my way." She confirms.
I stand patiently. Waiting. The only sound being people's chatter and sirens as people are going to be brought to a hospital.
"Miss?" I voice asks. I turn around, wondering if they mean me. My eyes meet a police officers.
"Are you with the avengers?" He asks, curiously looking down at my outfit. From the corner of my eye I see Nat headed my way and I smirk.
"What makes you think that?" I ask before I grab Natasha's outstretched hand, swinging over and plopping down behind her on the motorcycle, bounding off towards the truck.
"They're headed back towards you, so whatever you're gonna do, do it now." Clint says.
"We're going in, I got Casey. Cap, can you keep him occupied?" Nat asks as we swerve through cars, seeing the truck in sight. Steve's heavy breathing can be heard through the coms.
"What do you think I've been doing?" He asks breathlessly.
Nat and I both stand on the motorcycle, quickly jumping off of it and tumbling onto the truck. We walk up and look at whatever weird thing is in the cradle.
"Weird right?" I comment, having had a pretty good look at it before. Nat just nods. My eyes snap to the back of the truck seeing the two remaining robots heading to us. I grow confused as they pass us. "Somethings going on." I murmur.
Nat pulls up the computer on the Cradle and I bring my attention to it.
"We need to hurry." I say nervously. Just as I finish the truck starts flying and Natasha and I roll back, quickly grabbing onto the strong rope that's keeping the cradle from falling. We both pull ourselves up.
"Okay, The package is airborne. I have a clean shot." Clint says. Fear spreads through me. I will not die by the hands of Clint Barton!
"Negative. Casey and I are in the truck.
"What the hell are you guys-"
"Just be ready. We're sending the package to you." Nat informs him. I see what she's doing and immediately move to unbuckle the ropes and whatever else is holding the cradle to this thing.
"How do you want me to take it?" Clint asks.
"Kinky." I say with amusement. Nat laughs lightly.
"Uh, you might wish you hadn't asked that." She says, also slight amusement laced her voice.
I crawl around the cradle, making sure all of the ties are severed.
"I lost him! He's headed your way!" Steve yells into the coms.
I stop. Sitting on top of the cradle at the moment.
"Are you serious, Cap. We are like this close to getting this thing and you- - ugh. I can't right now." I grumble, pushing myself to another side of the cradle.
"Nat, Case, we gotta go!" Clint says with urgency as he backs the jet up to the flying truck. I swing over the cradle one last time as Nat cuts the final strap.
She places a bomb on the back of the truck. I grip the sides of the cradle, riding it like a sleigh as Nat pushes off the back wall and riding it down the truck. We securely make the cradle, Nat and I, land on the jet. I look back just in time to see Ultron grab her ankle and pull her away, the explosion too big to see where he took her.
"Nat!" Clint and I yell. I jump of the cradle and secure it before hanging over the edge to look for Nat.
"I don't see her anywhere!" I yell back at him.
"Cap, you see Nat?" Clint asks, trying a different angle point.
"If you have the package, get it to Stark! Go!" Steve orders.
"We can't leave Nat with a sociopathic robot, Steve!" I yell.
"Do you have eyes on Nat?" Clint asks again, his voice stern.
"Go!" Steve yells. Clint follows orders, flying to stark as I move away from the edge of the jet.
"Dammit!" Clint yells.
"What the hell Clint?! You should've made sure he looked for her!" I yell.
"Yeah? And what were you doing?" He asks.
"I tried! I would've tried harder if you didn't fold and follow orders! Ultron could kill her Clint! She. Could. Die. She could already be dead. Ultron could be torturing her as we speak." I ramble.
"You don't think I know that?!" Clint yells almost instantly as I finish. He takes a deep breath. "You don't think I know all the terrible things he could be doing to her? I'm terrified Casey. But I know Cap cares about her too and he didn't need to be asked to go look for her."
I go to rebuttal when my head goes foggy and my vision blurry. I stumble forward, grasping on a chair. I begin hearing a muffled,
"Casey. Casey?" Before all becomes clear again.
