Ultron once again rose into the air and away from anyone's grip.

"семья." (Family) Ultron spoke, fluent Russian escaping his lips.

I collapse onto my knees, clutching and gripping and pulling at my hair, trying to distract myself from my pain.

*******

An older woman and an older man held each of my hands. I was close to the floor, signaling that I was very young.

"We would like to volunteer our daughter for the experiment." The woman's voice spoke clearly and proudly. I look up and my eye catches the pin on the woman's coat. A silver skull with octopus tentacles swirling around it.

A doctor walked up and crouched down in front of me. I feel shock from my own body as I recognize the doctor from another dream.

"Oh, she'll do perfectly... We just have to get her prepped." The man sneers, gripping onto my shoulder. I involuntarily whimper, trying to get away from him.

The woman bends down, a harsh glare on her face.

"Come now, Eris, don't embarrass the family." The woman grits out before pushing me towards the doctor.

*******

Everyone looks at me in alarm.

"Casey,no!" Steve shouts.

"превосходящий." (Superior) Ultron speaks next. I cry out, falling onto my side and into fetal position.

*******

A white jacket was wrapped around me as two guards grip each of my arms and tug me down a rusty and run down looking hall, the same doctor walking in front of me with another man.

I could tell I was older now. At least by two years.

"She is going to be great. She's perfected her prep and is now ready for the first dose of the injection." The doctor informed the man, a sinister smirk plastered on his face from what I could see.

"And the girls parents? Seeing her? Keeping her spirits up?" The man asked in a deep voice. The doctor shook his head with a sigh.

"They merely threaten the girl during visits. So we revoked them," the doctor says, glancing down at me for a moment. "We don't want her thinking they'll kill her if she fails- - or she will!" The doctor hisses. This time both men look down at me, the new one crouching down to my level.

"You won't disappoint us, will you?" The man asks in a calming tone.

I scream over the tape covering my mouth before I jump up and kick the man in the face. The two guards instantly tackle me to the floor and try and keep me still as I struggle.

The man simply laughs as he stands back up, ignoring the doctors apologies.

"She'll do just fine."

*******

"We need to stop her!" I hear Tony shout.

"No, we need to stop him!" Clint yells back. Clamoring and Alarms sound all around me, adding to the pain.

"шпион." (Spy) Ultron says after a moment.

I cry out in pain, whimpering as I rub my hands against my head.

*******

I sat in front of a metal table, on a metal chair. No chains, no jackets. I just sat there and didn't dare move. I thought about it. But just the thought made fear clutch my entire body.

The same man I had kicked walked into the room, a similar black suit on with the same Hydra pin plucked onto it. He sat down across from me.

"How are you doing today, Eris?" He asks politely.

I snarl and spit on his face. He chuckles, taking a handkerchief to wipe his face.

"Just as feisty as ever I see," The man doesn't ask. He simply states, looking amused. He bends over and places a sheet of paper and a pencil on the table. "I want you to solve this for me." He commands.

I peer over, looking down at the paper in confusion. I can tell it's a bomb by its math. But the me I am in this vision doesn't seem to understand. I feel myself tilt my head to the side.

"If you can figure this out... No more pain, little one." The man assures. I internally scoff. If only he knew. My little head snaps up to meet his steely gaze. I only now realize the reason I'm so stiff and rigid is from the injections. The pain that traps my body. My little self looks down at the paper again, grabbing the pencil, trying her hardest to solve it. Just so the pain will stop.

She tries and tries. Solving all the simple parts of the math she could. But that didn't even finish a quarter of it. I felt fear of needing to give up. She didn't understand it. But she didn't want to give up, she didn't want more injections.

Finally, she placed the pencil down and calmly looked at he eager man.

"I can't." She spoke monotonously.

The man roared, standing up so quickly his chair slammed against the wall the grabbed the pencil and paper and slide them off the table, causing them to crash against the floor.

"You. Worthless. Brat!" The man screamed in my face. He turned around and flipped the table.

*******

More chaos was surrounding me but I couldn't move. I couldn't think. I felt trapped, I felt imprisoned in myself.

"мучитель." (Torturer) Ultron said loudly before fighting whoever he was fighting. I scream out in pain.

"Stop it, please stop it!" I scream, my cries interrupting my words.

*******

(Trigger warning? Talk of blood and getting tortured and stuff. Idk much about triggers so I apologize.)

I sit completely still after going through a round of injections. The burning of my body still vivid. The doctor and the man arguing in front of me.

"We've been doing this for over two years now, and nothing!" The man in the suit shouted. The doctor seemed panicked.

"There are other methods we can try." The doctor proposes. The suited man turns back to him, intrigued.

"Like what?" He questions. The doctor starts fiddling with his hands.

"We can try and kickstart her potential powers with a strong emotion," the doctor explains. The suites man raises a brow. "Pain." The doctor explains. The suited man turns to smirk at me.

"Bring her here!" He shouts. The guards grab both of my arms- - making me hiss in pain. They ignore it and drag me over to some chains on the wall. I whimper with each step I take.

"Come on. It can't hurt that bad." The gruff guards voice, scoffs. They move me and chain me to wall. My arms hung up and my legs barley touching the floor.

"Actually. Every cell in her body is burning to a crisp, morphing her DNA, morphing everything in her to change. It's incredibly painful." The doctor points out.

"Oh." The guard says as he probably didn't understand a word of what he said. The guards move away. The suited man steps behind the doctor as the doctor himself steps up to me with a knife.

It felt like hours as the doctor cut me up. Letting the blood fall across my skin, not bothering to wipe it off of me.

The doctor would repeat this sentence after every few cuts, "Don't worry. They will heal, the scars will fade." It's all he would say to me.

The suited man though... he would scream, shout, and stomp. Forcing and threatening me to make my powers work.

My view became fuzzy and black spots began to cloud my sight.

"We cannot continue. She could die." The doctor states.

"If she doesn't work, would good is she alive." The suited man sneers.

*******

The pain began to fade. My mind began to blank. I could feel myself beginning to be trapped in my own mind. I want to stop it. I wanted to fight... but the pain had weakened me.

The others noticed me get up. They waited in anticipation. If Ultron could smirk, he would be smirking right now. They noticed the blank look in my eyes. But it wasn't over. I would still fight!

"отказ." (Failure) Ultron said calmly. The others shook out of their trances as I still wasn't moving and continued to fight Ultron and his other robots that had flown in at some time.

"Keep. Fighting!" Clint shouted as he was battling against two robots.

I wanted to help, I wanted to move but I could only feel the gate close more and more.

*******

I look down and notice that I'm clamped to a large chair. A screen was placed in front of me.

I couldn't move my head but I could faintly see the doctor and the suited man in the corner.

"Why are we even doing this? She doesn't have any powers, what use is she if she doesn't have them?" The suited man asked. The doctor shook his head.

"She is a very skilled fighter. Even if she does not succeed in the trials, she will make a good warrior for our cause." The doctor states his opinion.

The tape starts rolling as HYDRA men and woman appear. The film talks about their cause and what their all about. Then it turns dark. Fighting, killing, chaos everywhere you turn.

I grimace and whimper and cry at the film, waiting for it to be over so I will never have to see it again. As it ends I sigh in relief but grow confused as it starts playing again. But this time a voice accompanying it.

"семья, превосходящий, шпион, мучитель, отказ, пятнадцать. семья, превосходящий, шпион, мучитель, отказ, пятнадцать." The dark suites man spoke over and over.

The film played for hours, days, and weeks. As did the mans voice. Violence soon merged into those words. A soldier of HYDRA was born...

*******

I couldn't do anything. I couldn't control my body. I couldn't use my brain. For the first time in my new life... I felt complete useless. I saw Ultron surprisingly struggling to keep up with all the avengers attacks. He couldn't even focus on Vision.

And all I could do was stand there, trapped in my own mind and watch what was happening to my friends.

"пятнадцать." (Fifteen) Ultron spoke out the last words and I heard a click in my head. I was completely trapped. No way out until the words faded from my mind, giving me control again.

The world slowed down as Pietro ran up in front of me. I see Ultron slowly fighting off Thor. Very slowly. I look back at Pietro.

"Are you in there? Are you alright?" He asks worriedly. My eyes and face remain blank. Pietro lets out a sound of desperation. "Please. Please come back to me draga mea." Pietro pleads with me. I want nothing more then to jump in his arms and tell him I'm here. Sadly. That doesn't happen.

I hold my fist back and briskly punch him in the face. Pietro falls down, groaning on the floor. The world goes back to its normal speed.

I stagger, clutching at my head as another memory resurfaces, Ultron immediately leaves, taking his robots with him.

*******

My eyes were closed. I couldn't see anything but I felt very weak.

"She's gone." I hear the doctor say. Who's gone? Am I gone? Do they think I'm dead?

"She's dead?" A mans voice asks as i feel a hand brush the hair off of my sticky forehead.

"Yes, I'm afraid so... Fifteen, oh, such a young age to die." The doctor sighs at the loss.

"So, she failed?" The same woman who volunteered me, just asks.

"I-I guess so." The doctor says, sounding confused.

I hear the steps of the woman's shoes. I hear her spit and i feel it land on my face. But no matter, I still don't move. I'm too weak.

"Just saves the time of killing her myself then." The woman says distastefully. As if she'd hate to get her hands dirty.

I hear the woman's shoes get quieter and quieter. She left...

"Can I walk her out?" The man asks, his hand still resting on my forehead.

"Yes of course." The doctor complies.

I hear the wheels of my gurney move across the floor, the wind brushing past my face as we move down the hall. I don't know how long we're moving for but no one speaks.

"This is as far as you're allowed to go, sir." The doctor says. The man doesn't answer verbally but I can only guess he nods.

He bends down and kisses my cheek.

"Take a left, two rights and run as fast as you can out the door. Get to New York. There is where you'll find help. Ask, for Iron Man. I love you Eris- - I love you my daughter." He speaks quickly before pressure is applied on a part of my neck. I instantly spring to life. I look at the shocked doctor and the happy man who I guess is my father. He seems handsome and kind.

"Go." He whispers. I nod and rush off. Guard after guard heading towards me as an alarm starts blaring. I dodge man after man, using the directions my father gave me.

Whoever I don't dodge, gets knocked out. I bust out of the building and race forward as fast as I can. I can hear them chasing me but I just don't stop running.

I continue to run, I sneak onto cars and trains as far as they will take me before I start running again.

I continue to run through the New York streets, dodging cars and people as I can't stop running. I don't know if they're still chasing me. I haven't had food or water in days, I've been too scared to sleep.

I reach the doors of a large building before I collapse on the ground, gasps being heard from other people on the street. A kind woman bends down on the ground, trying to look me in the eye.

"Sweetie, are you alright? Where are your parents?" She asks.

"Iron... Man." I whisper before my eyes close on their own, my world consumed by darkness and my ears not registering a sound.

A/N: So? Huh? Huh?! I was NOT expecting to do that whole dad thing... but I am very happy I did. Like, very, very happy I did. It's good. It's great. Ok, I can't really comprehend anything right now. That's just who I am, I get flustered easily lol.

This is easily my favorite chapter. I mean her backstory, the drama, finding out her real name, her and Pietro, what Steve's going through seeing this happen to ANOTHER one of his friends. It's great. It's crazy amazing and I'm happy I did this. It feeds my soul full of Pietro Fiction. Lmao, enjoy.

I hope you liked this chapter, and I mean, this book too, ya know? Next chapter is about to be great. And exciting. And dramatic. I think. Maybe. Depends what you consider dramatic. Ok, until then!
