I'm sorry some people make you feel otherwise,
They just have a distorted view,
They look at the surface,
And forget to look deeper,
They forget to look at your personality traits,
Because they rather judge you by your face,
They might think you don't align with beauty standards,
But the reality is that looks don't make a person,
A person is made from the person they chose to be,
The person that everybody may not see,
The person who's trying to make their dreams a reality,
Who helps someone in need because that to them speaks morality,
The person who's always there for others,
Even when no one is there for them,
That kind of person is a hidden gem,
Some people never see them,
Because they chose to not look,
There is nothing wrong with you,
There is just something wrong with society,
That makes you feel so much anxiety,
Because of how you appear on the surface,
Just know there is nothing wrong with you,
It's people's words and opinions that make you form such a view.
