She looks at herself and wonders where the growth is,
Why is she trying so hard, yet the results aren't coming in?
She neglects the seedling that is busy at work,
Progressing slowly under the dirt,
She neglects the progress and wants instant results,
But growth takes time as does anything else in this world,
Sometimes we water ourselves hoping to bloom right there and then,
But healing takes patience and comes from within,
Growth happens in the darkness of the soil,
It happens where our comfort zones aren't in focus,
It can be slow and intangible at times,
But that doesn't mean we are not growing or progressing,
It just means our soil is being prepared for us to bloom,
Be patient with your seedling because it is working overtime,
You just want results instantly but things like growth take time.
