Chapter 11 - Deal

Through Fire and Water6,017 words~31 min read

Izumi pov:

"Prince Shichiro, I don't think it's a good idea to go that way. There seem to be some ruffians around and it would be better for us to avoid them." I said.

Prince Shichiro stopped walking and looked at the four people ahead of us – a bunch of men who were walking around while talking loudly as if they owned the place. They seemed to be extorting money from the shop keepers by threatening them, saying that they would destroy their shops if they didn't pay up. They were probably just a bunch of unemployed lazy thugs who leeched off others' hard earned money.

"They do look like trouble....but the shop that sells the most delicious jelly candy is over there. I was really looking forward to buying some and giving some to Ryuusei Onii sama." He said dejectedly.

I sighed softly with a shake of my head and looked up at the thugs. It's not that I wouldn't be able to fight them; I just wanted to avoid making a scene in such a crowded place. The attention would be annoying and considering how things like this usually spread like wildfire, Prince Shichiro and I would end up as celebrities with our faces known and recognizable which would result in making such out-of-the-palace excursions difficult. But since Prince Shichiro wanted the jelly candy so much, we would have to go though those thugs.

"Let's go get the jelly candy, Prince Shichiro. Although, I have a request." I said and looked down at him.

"What is it, Izumi san?" He asked curiously, innocently.

"We can't let people see our faces. Cover up." I said and brought the hood of the cloak he was wearing over his head. I also tied the loose sash he carried over his face like a mask so that only his eyes were visible now.

"I-Izumi san! Why do we have to cover up?" He asked mildly flustered by my straightforward assistance.

"Because I have a feeling that we're going to be given a rather energetic greeting from those thugs." I said and covered my face as well. "I don't want us to end up with too much attention. If we do, we might not be able to come to the market as and when we want to anymore."

"Oh, I understand. I didn't even think of that, Izumi san. You're a really intelligent person!" He complimented with a smile behind his sash.

"I am merely taking such precautionary measures because of past experiences as well as instinct, Prince Shichiro. But thank you for the compliment." I said returning his smile.

Having covered up enough to not be recognized, the two of us headed towards the shop Prince Shichiro wanted to visit. As expected, when we passed the thugs who were threatening yet another shop keeper to give up some money, they noticed us and blocked our way. They looked at both of us up and down, more so me than Prince Shichiro though, and grinned.

"Well well! What do we have here?" One of them mused with a hand near his chin. "A rich kid and his sister with pretty eyes! Looks like we hit a jackpot today."

Prince Shichiro flinched under their chuckling but I took a hold of his shoulder to reassure him that everything was going to be okay. I then held him to my side with an arm around his shoulders while looking at the thug in front of me in the eyes.

"I would suggest you let us pass, Ojisan. We're just here to do some shopping – we don't want any trouble." I said in an even tone.

"Aww, will you look at that? The pretty girl is asking us to let them go!" Another cooed and chuckled along with the others.

"I'm warning you, Ojisan. Get out of our way or I'll make you."

"Aren't you a cute one? Trying to act all scary!" The third commented and I clenched my jaw in annoyance as he flicked some of my hair.

"Yeah! She's adorable!" The first guy said and reached out to me.

Prince Shichiro tensed but even before the guy to try to flick my hair like his friend, I caught a hold of his wrist and bent his hand backwards. He yelped and tried to make me let go of his hand in vain. I only out more pressure and caused his wrist bone to dislocate. He screamed in agony before I let him go and he fell on his rear while cradling his out-of-commission hand.

"You wench! What did you do to him?!" One of the men still standing barked.

"I broke his wrist." I said nonchalantly. "Now if you don't want something similar happening to the rest of you, you'll let us pass without any more trouble. Move aside....while I'm still being nice."

The men flinched and backed away, giving us a comfortable opening to pass through. As expected, we had gained quite a bit of attention from those around us and they were whispering amongst themselves as to how brave I was to stand up to the thugs and how nice it would be if their tyranny could be put to a stop by me permanently. I suppose I could help them in that matter too – once I got back to the palace, I could inform Ichirou san about these troublemakers so some action could be taken to protect the townspeople from unlawful extortion. I made a mental note to do so and we continued to the shop where Prince Shichiro wanted to buy jelly candy from.

We made it to a sweets shop in a few moments where I saw not just jelly candies of all possible colors but a variety of sweets that looked rather delectable. Being the Edo Period, it was obvious that sweet treats like cakes and other pastries wouldn't be available but this variety was in no way inferior to modern sweet treats.

"Wow....that's a lot of sweets! I don't think I've seen and eaten more than four or five of all that is available here." I said as I looked over them.

"This is the biggest sweets shop in Sei'an. And the best! You should try some of the sweets, Izumi san. Shall I buy something for you? As a token of gratitude for protecting me all the time?" Prince Shichiro asked.

"Thank you for asking, Prince Shichiro, but I think I'll pass." I said with a light shake of my head.

I wasn't a sweet tooth and it was very rare for me to eat any sort of pastry even in my time. Even though I was awed by what I saw here, I didn't feel all that eager to try any of the sweets on display, at least not now.

Prince Shichiro went ahead with ordering all the sweets he wanted to eat while I looked around us, once again keeping track of any possible threats as well as trying to find the man who was following us to most likely keep an eye on me. I had managed to get a glimpse of him once when he had a moment of clumsiness but he was fully covered so I couldn't recognize him even if he did appear in front of me without any cover-up. The main thing though, was that my doubt of being kept under watch had been confirmed which is why I had to be very careful with what I spoke, where I went at any time of the day and how I behaved. Since the assassin samurai or whoever it was who was watching me would be alert and aware of the smallest changes in me or any other person he would keep an eye on, he probably knew that I was aware of him following me.

The only good thing about this was that I wasn't being watched when I wasn't with Prince Shichiro and that gave me the chance to be myself and do what I wanted to do. Keeping that in mind, I had planned to infiltrate the royal library tonight, the restricted section specifically, and do some more constructive research.

"You...."

I heard a voice and it snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked ahead at an old man standing beside the shop keeper and watching me curiously and absorbingly. I narrowed my eyes just a bit, finding his stare strange.

"You're from another land, are you not?" He said making me frown now. "You are not one of us, not one of us at all."

"That's a rude thing to say you know, Oyaji. I may have been a wanderer before but that doesn't mean that I'm not one from your city." I said.

"No, that is not what I mean. You are from a land never seen or heard of before and one that we probably will never know of either. You are a stranger." He explained.

"Ojiisan, what do you mean?" Prince Shichiro asked curiously.

"She is not from this time, this world even perhaps. Her aura...."

"Look Oyaji, you're speaking nonsense." I said with a slight scoff. "My aura? Really?? What are you, psychic or something?"

"Oh for heaven's sake Papa! Stop bothering our customers! You're going to make me lose business! Ah, I'm very sorry about this, ma'am. You see, Papa is a little strange. He keeps saying things that don't make sense. Just ignore him." The shop keeper lady said sheepishly and asked her husband to take the old man inside their house to rest. "He's been saying odd things to some people since a few months and it's become both worrisome and troublesome for us. I hope you can forgive us for making you feel uncomfortable."

"Not at all, ma'am." I lied smoothly with a smile. "I'm sure he just mistook me for someone else."

"I suppose so....he does that a lot lately, especially with Lily san. But she's a kind woman who doesn't take any odd accusations to heart." The woman said and handed us a bag in which the sweets Prince Shichiro had bought was packed.

"Lily san?" I asked innocently. "That's an unusual name."

"It is, isn't it? She was a wanderer, apparently, and settled in Sei'an three years ago. She said that she was in some sort of accident that caused her to lose her memories. She was given the name Lily by the tribe who found her and saved her from starvation – they consider lilies as sacred and use it as an important artefact during their tribe's rituals and thought it was the best name to give to her. Well, that's what Lily san told us, anyway."

I narrowed my eyes just a bit at her words. This Lily person....could it be that she was like me? Was she someone from the future, from Tokyo? Her name didn't sound Edo-ish at all and she had received accusations from the old man too though I wasn't sure of what kind of accusations she had received. Perhaps I could meet this person and find out who exactly she was and how she had got here – that is, if she was someone who had gone through time travel like me. Well, finding information was one thing, putting it to the right use was another. Even if I did find out that this Lily person was from the modern world, it wouldn't really help me in finding clues on how to get home, would it? This was a matter to check out later on, when I had spare time.

"Shall we head back?" I asked Prince Shichiro seeing that he was done buying whatever he wanted.

"Oh, yes, let's head back." He responded with a smile and we thanked the shop keeper once before heading back to the palace.

The walk back to the palace was calm and without any problems. Prince Shichiro stopped every now and then to look at things displayed in different shops. He bought a few more items – some other foods, a hand held toy and something from a jewelry store. By the time we reached his room in the palace, it was evening and the end of my shift to watch him.

"I-Izumi san, thank you for protecting me in the market today." Prince Shichiro said shyly as we stood outside his room doors.

"You don't have to thank me for that, Your Highness. It's my duty to protect you. I am your bodyguard after all." I responded in mild amuse.

"That may be true...but you're probably the only person I have met who doesn't seem to mind my company. All the previous bodyguards I had didn't quite like being around me. As a result, I was oftentimes left unguarded and ended up getting into trouble and being a bother to Ryuusei Onii sama. I'm actually glad that you are my bodyguard, Izumi san....and...." He paused, seeming a little embarrassed to continue.

"What is it, Your Highness?" I coaxed.

"W-well, I know this may sound very silly to you but...." He said and blushed. "In the time you have been my bodyguard, I have come to see you as an elder sister. The way you take care of me, see me as a real person, a boy and not as a prince; I feel like I am no longer an unimportant existence in the world. T-that's why, to show you my gratitude, I bought this for you."

He held out a hair ornament that he had bought today in the market. It was beautiful, I suppose – a simple but delicate hair piece made of antique finish gold and amethyst beads hanging from the end. I was also surprised by his confession. I was surprised that he thought of me as someone so close, so trustworthy. I felt guilty for a split second, for reasons I wasn't quite sure of, but it disappeared soon enough. I shook my head with a laugh and took the hair ornament from his hand so I could look over it. I then placed my hand on his head in a sort of affectionate older-to-younger sibling gesture. He tensed for a moment but blushed even darker than before while averting his eyes.

"You're a good kid. Thank you for the gift – it's beautiful and I will make sure I treasure it." I said and pulled my and away. "Well, I should get going now. Good night, Your Highness."

"Of course, Izumi san. Good night." He wished with a flushed smile and I walked down the hallways, out of the palace and to my room in the barracks.

Most of the evening passed by normally – dinner, friendly chatting with the others of the Elite Division, a soak in the hot springs after a long day's work and finally shutting ourselves in our respective rooms to turn in for the night. But unlike usual, my stalker hadn't seemed to have stopped stalking me yet. Perhaps it was because of what the old man in the market had said today. No matter what the reason was, I saw this as a chance to get him to reveal himself. I had had enough of him following me around and if he wouldn't come out of the shadows himself, I would just have to lure him out.

Having pocketed the small hand held torch that I always carried with me during my missions, I walked out of my room after making sure that there wasn't anyone outside who could see what I was about to do. I then jumped, took a hold of the roof's end beam and swung myself up onto the roof of the barracks. I climbed till the top and stood on the ridge of the roof while looking in the direction of the palace. I smirked and put my plan into action.

"Well, that's quite some progress." I spoke to myself though loud enough for anyone within ten feet around me to hear. "Now that Prince Shichiro trusts me so much, I can put my secret plan into action. All I have to do is sneak into the palace and...."

I couldn't complete my sentence as a katana was brought to the base of my neck threateningly. My smirk widened and I even chuckled. My stalker had taken the bait.

"So you finally decided to show yourself, eh?"

"What are you planning, girl?" I heard the man behind me speak. "Are you an enemy to the Blood Emperor after all? What is it you wish to achieve by infiltrating the palace?"

"Haah, if I knew saying something as simple as this would get you to reveal yourself, I would have done so sooner." I mused instead of answering his question.

"I asked you a question, girl! Not for an....!"

Even before he could complete his sentence, I shoved him away from me and summersaulted backwards. He was quick to retaliate and bolted forward towards me while swinging his katana. I dodged all of his attacks, ducking and jumping as he tried hitting me on the head and legs. When he tried to get me in the torso, I jumped back, did a summersault and skidded downwards as I landed on the sloped tiled roof. Some tiles broke under the impact of my landing and others were displaced, falling to the ground below and breaking when they met the ground. Just as the masked man came at me again, I unsheathed my katana and blocked his blade. I pushed him back but it didn't do much because he was quite strong and he was pushing down from above me.

Nonetheless, I managed to push him off me and we exchanged blows while shuffling around on the roof. I was surprised that no one had woken up and come to see what was happening on the roof considering how noisy our fight was. Perhaps that barracks were sort of sound proof – that or everyone of the Elite Division were really heavy sleepers.

Several blows later, the two of us blocked each other's blades and stayed pushed up against each other to try and dominate. I got the chance to stare at him dead in his brown eyes. I narrowed my eyes dangerously and he did the same. When we pushed each other back, he launched a surprise attack. He kicked me in the gut and I gasped as the wind was knocked out of me. I lost balance on the roof and fell onto the ground on my back hard, which once again made me gasp in breathlessness. I could do so only for a moment though because I had to roll out of the way to prevent the man from piercing his katana right through my gut as he landed hard on the ground where I was lying.

I got up with a jump, landing on my feet and blocked his katana the very next moment. I was imbalanced because of my one moment of clumsiness that gave the man several chances to push me back with every hit from his katana. However, I recovered soon enough and strengthened my stance to hold up against him once again. I decided to end this little game and I grasped the hilt of my katana with both hands and swung it powerfully at the man. I couldn't overpower him but I did manage to outmatch him.

Positioning the blade horizontally, I tried to stab him in the gut which he, obviously, dodged. But his stance weakened for a moment and I instantly lifted my blade to disarm him. Even before he could take a step back, I brought my blade to the base of his neck in a position quite disadvantageous to him. Even the slightest movement could cause him to get cut.

"Got you." I said with a smirk and he cursed under his breath while narrowing his eyes at me in visible displeasure and anxiousness.

After a moment of intense staring, I relaxed and moved my katana away from him. I sheathed it and smoothened out the wrinkles in my clothes.

"Why didn't you finish me?" He asked, not having moved from where he stood.

"I'm sure you're aware that I don't kill people. Since you lost, I'll be the one asking questions. Why have you been stalking me? And under whose orders?"

"I have no obligation to tell you the answer. And it is not for you to know." He said stoically.

I clicked my tongue and shook my head. "That's kind of unfair, don't you think? You've been quite a bother to me the whole of this week and you're not telling me why you've been stalking me even though I won fair and square."

"You knew that I was watching you?" He asked in a low disbelieving voice.

"Yeah." I responded with a shrug. "I've known since the day I started out as Prince Shichiro's bodyguard. I assumed that you'd be more observant and be aware of the fact that I knew you were following me."

"How? How could you possibly know about it? How could you be aware of my presence?" He pressed in a louder voice this time.

"That's not something you need to know about." I snapped and narrowed my eyes at him with a frown. "Now you listen here, you go tell whoever who sent you that I don't appreciate being kept on watch. I have no intention of becoming an enemy to the Blood Emperor so there are no worries about me posing as a threat to him. And just for your information, I haven't pretended to be something I'm not just because I knew I was being followed. I will protect Prince Shichiro with or without you following me and I plan on staying loyal to the Blood Emperor. Now get off my back."

He didn't say anything to me in return so I turned around swiftly and pretended to head back to my room. The man was quick to disappear so I took a turn and walked towards the palace. I stayed alert, keeping my senses on high sensitivity to make sure I got into the palace unnoticed. I made my way to the library and glanced around once before letting myself in.

It was late in the night and obvious that everyone in the palace including the Blood Emperor himself would be asleep and as expected, there was no one in the library. It was dark and I had to squint my eyes a bit to see what was around with the help of the moonlight. I pulled out the torch in my pocket and switched it on so I could use the light to guide myself through the library.

I first went through some of the books in the main library – the ones on the same shelf as the book I had read on the first day when I was here with Prince Shichiro. Besides the story of the Water God, there wasn't anything I found to be of great importance in these books. I then headed into the restricted section and began to pull out the books one by one to see their titles.

Most of the books were government records and on details that didn't really interest me. There was, however, one book that seemed to be a sequel to the book with the story of the Wizard and the Water God. This too detailed out not just the incident where a motorbike had been discovered on the beach but also that of several other modern objects. What caught my eye the most though was that all the appearances were on the same beach – Yokobu Shore, the land touching the Yokobu Sea that was south of Sei'an.

"Yokobu Shore? Could that be where I appeared too?" I whispered to myself.

I flipped a few pages to see if there was any other information on that particular shore. There were descriptions of the settlement a little away from the shore but nothing good enough to hint me on whether it was the same town I had walked through when I first arrived in this world.

"My my, you're quite a sly one, aren't you? Sneaking into the library at this time of the night – that's quite brave too."

I tensed and gasped upon hearing a voice behind me. I immediately put out the torch light in my hands, hid it inside my sleeve and turned to look at who had come here. Much to my surprise, it was the man I had met in the garden a couple of days ago. Just like then, his hair was left open and he carried his flute in the waist sash of his outfit.

"Your Highness...." I mumbled, clenching my fist and wondering how to explain and get out of this sticky situation.

"You know that this library is off limits, don't you, Love? Especially the restricted section." He said and took a step towards me.

"I am aware of that." I said carefully and took a step back.

"Then what are you doing here?" He asked slowly, coolly.

I didn't answer his question and decided to just get out of here. I threw the book in my hands at him in an attempt to surprise him but he caught the book easily without even batting an eyelid. I needed a little more of a diversion so I took a hold of the shelf on our right and pulled it to make all the books fall, followed by the shelf itself. I avoided it and darted around the prince swiftly but I couldn't get far because of a tight and slightly painful grip on my wrist.

I was pulled back to where I was standing in front of the prince and shoved back to fall on the floor. The prince fell forward and came to hover over me with his legs on either side of my hips and his hands holding my wrists. The books in the shelves fell all around us with crinkling sounds and the shelf itself fell on top of the prince. He didn't flinch or show even the slightest amount of pain on his face when the shelf fell harshly on his back and he held me in place under him.

When all the books had fallen and the library was silent, I met the eyes of the prince. They were a brilliant turquoise but reflected a hint of malice in their depths. I struggled, trying to make the prince let go of my wrists because I was not only comfortable but it hurt, but every bit of my struggling was futile. He was really strong and didn't budge even a centimetre under all the effort I was putting to get out of his hold. I was also surprised that he wasn't trembling under the weight of the bookshelf that had fallen on top of him.

"Get off me!" I finally said but he merely chuckled.

"I don't want to. I quite like this position, Love." He responded.

"Well, I don't. And I'd really really appreciate it if you got get off me."

"But I'd really really appreciate it if you'd let me watch you like this for a few minutes." He replied smartly.

I clenched my jaw to make sure I didn't blow my top at him. I took a deep breath and sighed before looking into his eyes again, mentally grimacing at how penetrating his gaze was but trying to appear unruffled.

"Alright....I'm sorry for coming here without permission. It was wrong and I shouldn't have done it. But I was curious." I said though I didn't really mean it. "I'll make sure it doesn't happen again. Now can you get off me?"

The prince chuckled but didn't show signs of letting me go anytime soon. "Come on now, Love. It won't be any fun letting you off the hook just like that! Your conduct was unlawful and you have to receive punishment for what you did, isn't that right?"

I let out a deep exhale to suppress my annoyance. His amused smile was ticking me off but I wasn't really in a position to yell at him. I had done something wrong after all and he had the right to question me and take action against me for it. I'd rather keep my mouth shut and prevent my situation from getting even more worse than what it already was.

"I suppose....so, what is my punishment? Am I going to be locking in prison?" I asked placidly.

"Hmm....that's what would usually happen to someone who broke the rules but I don't quite feel like letting that happen to you. How about we make a deal instead?"

"A deal? What deal?" I asked warily. I didn't like the wicked spark of amusement in his eyes.

"Become my personal attendant." He answered.

I blinked dumbly for a moment not quite understanding what he meant by that. His personal attendant? Surely he didn't mean that I leave my job as a guard in the Elite Division and become his caretaker.

"I don't quite understand what you mean by that, Your Highness." I stated, hoping that he would give me some more details about his strange suggestion.

"I want for you to become my personal attendant. Of course, I will make sure I don't pose as a hindrance to your duties as a member of the Elite Division but I expect that you will come to me when I summon you, no matter the time or place, and you will do whatever I ask of you to do. If you agree to this, I will make sure that the Blood Emperor doesn't find out about this little...midnight charade of yours." He explained.

So now he was threatening me, huh?

"What do you mean by doing whatever you ask of me to do?" I asked narrowing my eyes.

"Don't worry, Love. I don't intend to do anything that will make you feel in any way offended. I may be a prince but I am a gentleman."

"The clarification is appreciated." I said flatly which made him smile amused.

"I'm glad that I cleared up a possible misunderstanding. And I believe you will be careful to not let anyone know of our deal, Love. It wouldn't work well for you if I was forced to tell the Blood Emperor of your misconduct, would it?" He said teasingly.

I clenched my jaw feeling cornered. I had no choice in this matter, did I? I had to agree to this deal unless I wanted to get in trouble with the Blood Emperor. This prince did say he wouldn't tell the Blood Emperor what happened but....could I really trust him?

"Alright. I accept the deal. But I'd like it if you stop calling me Love. I've told you my name so please use that." I said after a moment of contemplation.

"Ah," He said and clicked his tongue while shaking his head. "I'm afraid I can't do that, Love. Consider this adorable nickname as one part of the deal."

I resisted from letting out an exasperated groan. Well, a deal is a deal and I wasn't in a position to complain. I was happy though that since our deal was sealed, the prince pushed the shelf off himself and got off me. I stayed on the floor for a moment before getting up as well and picking up the books that had fallen on the floor around us.

"You don't have to clean that up. I'll have some attendants take care of it later." The prince said and took a hold of my upper arm to make me stand.

I was quick to react though and pulled my arm away almost immediately earning a chuckle. He took the books in my hand and placed it on one of the still standing shelves but picked up the book I had been reading before he interrupted. He held it out to me casually which I returned with a guarded stare.

"You seem to be interested in this book – you were reading it with so much concentration after all. Why don't you keep it with you? You can finish reading it and return it to me when you are done." He suggested.

"Why are you helping me?" I asked sternly while looking up at him as he towered over me.

"Because I just feel like it." He responded with a shrug. "Do you not want it?"

I held back from scoffing at his acting. He was definitely up to something but what is was, I hadn't a clue. He was sure to reveal his true intentions soon enough though and I would stay alert and ready to tackle anything he threw at me. But for now, I decided to take up his offer and borrow the informative book.

I hesitated for a moment but took it from his hands while mumbling a halfhearted thank you. He gave a soft laugh and he reached out to move some loose strands of my hair behind my ears. I stood with jaw clenched tightly, pushing down the strong urge to slap his hand away from me with all my power. I was sure he would say that this too was a part of our so called deal so I did my best to endure this instead of snap at him unnecessarily.

"Good girl." He commented when he pulled away. "Why don't you head back to your barracks and get some sleep? We'll see each other again soon."

"How will I know when you summon me?" I asked curtly.

"I will have a messenger deliver the information of our time and place of meeting when I wish to see you."

"Thank you for telling me, Your Highness. I wish you a pleasant night." I wished and gave him a bow, waiting for him to leave. I hadn't even raised my head when he spoke again, this time in a low warning voice that unexpectedly made goose bumps erupt on my arms.

"As much as I find this bravery and curiosity of yours charming, it would be wise to not forget your loyalty, Love. The Blood Emperor is not kind to those who show even the slightest hint of betrayal. If I were you, I would tread and act carefully within the palace while keeping the dire consequences in mind."

"I understand." I responded flatly and straightened up. Just as he had begun to walk out of the library, I spoke again making him stop at the door. "I apologize if my question is impolite in any way but....may I have the honor of knowing your name?"

I was almost sure that he twitched at my sarcastically framed question. He stopped walking and turned his head to look at me with a strange smile. I felt momentarily overwhelmed by his presence and his piercing stare but I held my ground. It only made his smile widen.

"My name is Ryuu."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Awwie, isn't Prince Shichiro such a precious cinnamon roll? He got a thank you gift for Izumi! And he's getting all flustered around her ^////^
Woohoo! You're so awesome, Izumi chan! You caught your stalker with ease and sent him running with his tail between his legs! Well, maybe you didn't scare him but you definitely got him off your back XD
...
Then again, it probably wasn't all that useful because you still have the flute guy keeping an eye on you. And he caught you sneaking around in the restricted section of the Royal Library!!! O.O And now that you've been caught, you've been forced to make a deal with him to keep your butt out of trouble.
Dun dun dun!!! And the flute prince's name is Ryuu! 8D I wonder how he's related to the Blood emperor...they even share similarities in their names 8D
What's your thoughts on the chapter and the major cliffhanger?? XD
