My sleep got disturbed when i heard several knocks on the door of the room i got up rubbing my temple the headache was still there i opened the door and found ruhi standing there i let her in

"Bhabhi its 5 P.M..you didn't even come for lunch are you fine?" she asked placing the glass of orange juice on the night stand and sitting on the bed keeping a hand behind her back to support it

"ruhi why aren't you resting? you know the doctor has advised you to take rest" i said sitting on the edge of the bed facing her

"and why aren't you eating you want to go to the doctor too bhabhi jaan?" she asked looking at me raising her eyebrow

i huffed

"i didn't feel like having anything"

"yeah and ved bhaiya has called me 1000 times because you weren't seeing his messages" she said looking at me faking her anger

i couldn't help but bit back a smile

"i was asleep" i said picking up my phone from the table and opening it to see 7 missed calls and several messages from him 2 calls from krishiv and 1 from my mom

i opened the text and my eyes widened

now i feel guilty for sleeping like i was behosh

(unconscious)

I looked up and found ruhi offering me the glass of juice she brought

"i don't want to.."

"Have it Mrs.Malhotra please?" i heard his soft voice

i looked up startled and ruhi was grinning sheepishly as she kept her phone on speaker in front of my face

i muttered 'chain nahi hai kisiko' under my breath

ruhi chuckled and brought the glass closer to me i took it from her and gulped it

"Have done your work bhai don't forget our deal" she said to him over the call

he hummed and she hung up the phone

i raised my eyebrow at her

"that's our secret now talk to your bechain saiyaan ji he is waiting since long" she said with a teasing smile gesturing towards my phone which was buzzing and left talking to herself

i shook my head and picked up the phone wiping my lips with my thumb

"Are you fine? what happened? why didn't you eat properly?" he asked with a soft yet concerned voice

"let me say something Malhotra ji" i said smiling internally

pehle phone karne ko bol rhe the ab bolne ni de rahe

"Bolein" he said sighing as if being relieved

i stressed him out? did i? stupid stupid mihika!  i hit myself mentally

"I am fine, had a headache but feeling better now" i said walking towards the balcony of our room as it was close to dawn the sky looked pretty serene

"And why didn't you eat properly?" he asked

he wouldn't let it go stubborn as i say

i sat on the couch there sighing

"lost my appetite back then nothing much" i said trying to make him believe on my words

"the real reason mrs.malhotra" he asked in a soft yet demanding tone

"dadi said something and then my mood got off"

"i mean she could have nicely said that krish should go to work rather than be at home but her choice of words was harsh" i blurted out in a low voice

"i don't want to be the center of attention to anyone unnecessarily, i don't want to sound like i am complaining too" i added fidgeting with my saree's border

i heard him taking a deep breath sighing

"don't worry about her i told you no? don't give unnecessary attention to her words don't let her affect you..krishiv will be there soon go out with him and cheer up" he said softly as if talking to a kid

i couldn't help but smile, actually my mood got better the second he called

"i was waiting for your message for so long how long did you slept and i called you so many times you didn't even budge in sleep" he said in a child like manner complaining and i chuckled

"how do you know that i didn't budge" i questioned with a hint of amusement in my voice

"i know how much of a deep sleeper you are mrs.malhotra" he said in a 'matter of fact' tone

"that is debatable" i said smiling

"i don't want to.. as you say madam" he said surrendering and i laughed

"how's udaipur?" i asked

"pretty good but i just want to be at home right now i feel tired already" he said

"take care of yourself , don't take much stress everything will go as planned"

i said trying to comfort him

"work's calling i will call you at night" he said

"take care mrs.malhotra" he added and i decided to hang up the phone muttering a 'you too'

"bhabhi jiiiiiii" i heard krishiv's voice as he barged into the room

i gave him a 'what do you want' look

"you aren't ready yet go fast..wear something comfortable " he said pulling me up from the couch and trailing behind me until i reached till the wardrobe

i shook my head at his antics

"wait downstairs i will come in 10 mins" i said entering inside the bathroom to change

i wore a simple yet elegant maroon kurti which rested above my ankles i paired it with juttis and minimal earrings along with my nuptial chain and a small bindi

a feeling of uneasiness lingered inside me but i decided to ignore it i felt like that almost all the time now

i took a quick glance at myself in the mirror and then descending the stairs i saw krish waiting

"let's go shall we?" he asked and i nodded and we left no one else was present in the hall so i felt a relief

i got into the passenger seat beside krishiv and we drove off to our favourite place

we stopped as we approached the street where we can have our favourite golgappe

i got out of the car and saw the golgappe stall as we reached there

"bhaiya zyada teekha mat karna" krishiv said and i frowned

"nahi bhaiya teekha banana" i said glaring at krishiv

i closed my eyes with satisfaction as i savoured the tangy and spicy golgappa

we continued to eat until i felt satisfied

and my mood was much better

"now our favourite cafe what say?" krishiv said while paying the vendor

and i grinned while muttering 'why not'

we again sat back in the car the drive was peaceful as we listened to our favourite songs and sang along while i messed up some Lyrics and he didn't leave a chance to tease me

soon we reached our destination

it was a cozy cafe with pretty vibes

we decided to have our favourite pasta and krishiv decided to have his choco chip frappe soon we got indulged in our chatters while stuffing our mouth with the food

"you don't know anything" i said shutting him up while he was blabbering about how girls ignore him when he approaches them

"you find me someone like you,that will be the best no?" krishiv said sipping on his frappe

"yeah..yeah i will" i said while looking up from my plate and then i saw HIM

My breath got hitched and i felt suffocated all of a sudden as i saw him approaching us

"Krish...take me home" i said taking a deep breath and getting up he looked where i was looking and i saw him glaring at Saransh

yes he was here...
