before she could say anything there was a knock on the room's door

he groaned slightly

'let me see" she said pulling out from his hold

she opened the door only to see krishiv panicked

"what happened to you? why are you panting?" she asked with a frown while vedant stood behind her

"vo..ritvik bhai behosh ho liye" krishiv said still catching his breath

"kyun?" vedant asked frowning

"aree kyun kya kyun mujhe btake thodi na hue ruhi bhabhi went into labour toh vo panic kar gye" krishiv answered with a slight chuckle

mihika hit him lightly on his arm

"chalo ruhi bhabhi wants you at the hospital" krishiv said descending the stairs

"let's go?" she said before turning towards him and looking at him

he nodded without saying anything and they came downstairs

ritvik was already conscious by now and ruhi was shooting daggers at him

"kya aadmi hain mera khyal rakhne ki bajaye khud behosh ho gye uthao inhe ab" ruhi said half yelling and hissing in pain holding her back with her palms supporting it while amrita caressed her head

"i am sorry princess, i panicked" ritvik said supporting her to stand up

"it's okay everything will be good calm down" mihika said assuring them

"i am waiting in the car hurry up" vedant went outside without glancing at anyone

they all reached the hospital and soon ruhi was taken into the labour room

"i'll be with her inside" dadi stated

"i am sorry mam but ruhi has asked mrs.mihika malhotra to be there with her" the nurse said looking at them to decipher who is she

mihika looked at ritvik and he nodded assuringly she went inside along with the nurse

"you should have been there with her dumbass" vedant muttered to his brother who was peeking inside the hospital ward once in a while

"she needed some sensible human with her in this time yeh toh fir behosh ho jate" krishiv said with a muffled laugh while ritvik glared at him

"vo mai thoda sensitive hu na" ritvik said looking at them

"Maa you all should leave these many people aren't allowed in the hospital and it's late also so no arguments" vedant said softly to his mother and giving his dadi a hard look

"ritvik mihi and me are here we'll inform you everything" he continued

his mother nodded with a soft smile and they left

"bhai will i be able to handle them?" ritvik asked nervously shaking his leg as they sat and waited for the baby's arrival

vedant patted his shoulder

"don't worry i trust you everything will be fine" vedant assured with a small smile

"itna nervous mat ho ab" vedant added

"aapki baari aayegi tab dekhunga aap kitne calm rehte ho" ritvik said giving him a side eye and his ears turned red for a while before he composed himself

"abhi apna sambhal le" vedant said as ritvik was asked to do some formalities

after a while the ward opened only for mihika to come out

"what happened is she fine?" ritvik asked being tensed

"yes both of them are..go meet your baby boy she wants you to hold him first" mihika said with a huge grin plastered on her face

"a boy" ritvik squealed in happiness as tears were twinkling in his eyes and hugged mihika she patted his back lovingly

"go she's waiting for you" mihika said pushing him in the ward and turning to vedant

"they have a baby boy" she said happily and hugged him

"you know how much pain she had to endure i had to be strong for her i admire her so much she's so strong" she ranted to him as he caressed her hairs

"you know he has ritvik's blue eyes and ruhi's smile he's a mini version of them" she blabbered her eyes shining as she talked about the little bundle of joy

he smiled kissing her hairs

"yeah, i'll inform at home and then let's meet him now i cannot wait" he said taking her inside the ward

ritvik was delicately holding him ruhi was still unconscious

"bhai mai..papa ban gya" ritvik said showing him the little boy

"give him to me now" mihika said taking him in her arms and booping his nose

"he's gonna be the prince of the house" mihika said kissing his forehead and giggled when the baby held her index finger in his small hands

And when i saw her holding the baby so delicately,lovingly i couldn't help but wonder how adorable mother she will be

she might pretend that she is fine but i know she's happy yet her mind isn't working in her favour of what happened this morning

i knew i fucked up and the worst part part is she still cared

i thought she would pick up a fight yell at me back and tell me that how wrong i did to her but she became my home without realising it she gave me comfort without me uttering a word and it sucks that i wanted to hide it all from her just because I don't want to add on to her problems that i became one

i wanted to apologise as soon as she entered her room but my damn family wouldn't let me go and then abheer called and..

i sighed

then this pretty boy decided to bless us with his presence i may not show it but i already love him from the core of my heart he's so little i wonder how i would ever be able to handle a baby

looking at mihika i could sense she was emotional yet she was holding the smile a pure one she was admiring the baby with so much love that you might mistakenly take her as his mother

"he will call me badi mumma" she declared as i watched ritvik and her sit beside either side of ruhi

"of course bhabhi" ruhi said she gained consciousness a while ago and now was playing with the baby

"bade papa idhar aao hold him na" ruhi said smiling at me

"i cannot..i will drop him" i said to her in a whisper

"relax bade papa ruhaan wants you to hold him" mihi whispered in the same tone as mine and i couldn't help but smile

she handed me the baby and i held him delicately he was so small so adorable

he opened his eyes and looked at me and i couldn't help but smile as he smiled at me

"bhai bhabhi you both go home and rest i am here with her" ritvik said caressing ruhi's head

"are you sure?" mihi asked

"yes if there will be anything needed i'll let you know" he said assuringly

this is what i wanted a moment of peace alone with her after all the happenings of today

"i'll send chachi and krishiv" she said as she kissed ruhi's forehead and she smiled

she was sitting quietly beside me in the car i wanted to apologise i just couldn't find the right words

i interlaced her fingers with mine as i continued to drive

she didn't say anything just gripped tightly and closed her eyes

she doesn't want to talk for now..

we soon reached home and an idea struck my mind

"you go rest hmm? i will be back in 10 mins" i said removing her hairs from her face

she nodded as she went inside and i quickly drove off it was almost 10P.M i hope the stores aren't closed yet

i dropped by a mall and quickly went into a jewellery store and picked up the best earrings and anklets i could find

she loves them a little too much..

i then went to the icecream parlour and grabbed her a tub of black current icecream it was her favourite ever since she was a teenager

i walked outside and saw a small flower shop i bought her favourite tulips too

i hope she forgives me these are just things i want to give to make her happy they aren't a bribe to forgive me even after this she decides to not forgive me it's her choice

"i am 5 mins late all because of this rain" i muttered as i glanced at my watch walking inside the mansion i was drenched in rain which decided to show up as soon as i walked out of the flower shop

everyone was asleep by then thankfully

i quickly ascended the stairs my hands were full of her favourite things except the ice-cream that's my secret weapon i will use it at last

i got inside the room and saw the lights were dim is she asleep? i moved closer and saw her sleeping i am late

i kept the things on the side table

but the thing which caught my eye was her t-shirt which was dishelved dropping a little down from her shoulder giving a breath-taking view of her bare shoulder and rising a little up to her waist i gulped and closed my eyes before pulling it down

you aren't supposed to think about it right now you are here to apologise i chanted to myself i turned my back to her as i opened the closet and it was louder then it was supposed to be

"mr.malhotra?" i heard her sleepy voice it came out way more seductive

"you are wet" she said getting up and looking at me with her innocent eyes

stop it i groaned mentally what has happened to me i am not supposed to think like this i cursed myself under my breath

"where were you?" she asked grabbing a towel and coming dangerously close to me as she turned me towards the foot of the bed

"sit down" she said and i obeyed as she stood in front of me tying her hair in a messy bun

"what did you need so urgently that you went out in this weather you will catch a cold now" she said more like scolded as she was drying my hair standing between my parted legs her own kurti a little drenched because of my drenched one's sight of her waist too hard to resist

"you" i whispered pulling her hands down and holding them in mine

"haan?" she said looking a bit flustered

"it's been a while i now know you are trying to avoid the topic, sunshine" i said my one hand wrapping around her waist pulling her closer and her hands rested around my neck

"i..umm..that's nothing.. i don't mind" she stammered while looking everywhere inside the roomvi smirked

i pulled her by her waist and made her sit on my lap

"you what? don't avoid me now i wouldn't be able to survive" i asked caressing her jaw line

i know she wasn't mad she was hurt and i will probably curse myself a hundred times for that

she looked into my eyes and my already hard self was having the hardest time before i loose control i pulled her to my side making her sit on the bed and grabbing the things i bought for her

i went on my knees and she looked surprised

"what are you-" she said but I kept my finger on her lips and shushed her

"listen to me for now" i said

"i am sorry, biwi i shouldn't have been harsh at you or get frustrated when you were just trying to help me i know these things doesn't justify my behaviour i own up to my mistake and i just want to apologise i promise to not repeat this again" i said in one breath giving her the bouquet which had everything placed in between the flowers

"i am sorry,sunflower i hope you forgive your man and i won't go unless you forgive me" i said kissing her hand and finally looked into her eyes

they were relieved,happy, emotional

"i don't want you to cry, jaan" i said wiping her tears off

"you.." i was cut off by her lips as she kissed the corner of my lips it took me off guard

"If I knew you would get down on your knees just to apologise that too twice i wouldn't have wanted to avoid you for even a second you didn't have to do it though..a simple sorry would also work" she said her lips forming into a serene smile as she laughed between her crying

"i would do it a hundred times over if it means i will get to see you happy like this" i said looking at her i wished she kissed my lips instead

she's the purest woman i have ever known she is like a goddess my goddess

i swear to worship this woman, till the end of my life

the next moment i know was her lips taking in mine in the softest way possible her hand resting on my cheek caressing it while the other held my neck holding me close caressing my nape i just closed my eyes i let her be

this is the first time her getting into physical intimacy by herself and I can't help but feel something churning in my stomach she's getting better

i couldn't wait more i deepened the kiss

holding her from her waist my other hand caressing her soft delicate skin inside the t-shirt it felt so good to my rough one and then i heard her moan in between the kiss

it sounds heavenly

i did need this kiss just like i needed her to forgive me and she did in the best way possible i pulled out as i felt her breathing hardly i attached my forehead to hers

"so am i forgiven wifey?" i asked

"of course husband" she said smiling she bumped her nose with mine
