AUTHOR'S POV
He looked up from his phone only to find krishiv taking her upstairs while she stumbled quite a few times on her feet little lines formed on his forehead
"We'll see it tomorrow 11 A.M I want you in my office" vedant said before he stood up to go towards their room but he stopped and went towards the hall as loud chatters were heard
"Vedant you here umm have you eaten anything?" Shweta questioned in an attempt to stop him from heading inside from the bar area
"Yes Chachi" he simply answered
"Umm did I wished you happy birthday?" She asks panicking her forehead forming lines
"Yes Chachi you did in the evening now let me go inside" vedant said moving inside despite her futile attempts to stop him
"Amrita enough is enough sometimes her ex lover shows up, sometimes my grandchild disrespects me because of her and now this she's getting drunk" Dadi exclaimed with her dramatically furious expressions
"Maa ji-" Amrita spoke to defend her daughter-in-law but she got cut off
"No I'll not tolerate that character less girl anymore uska vo aashiq Kam bezzati karwata hai humari humare khandan ka naam rutba sab kharab ho jayega iski wajah se" Dadi said grinnding her teeth
(No I'll not tolerate that character less girl anymore her lover torments our reputation like no one else)
"Dadi-" ritvik said his tone harsh but he got cut off as vedant came in storming
"For your kind information mrs. Surekha malhotra jis khandan ke rutbe aur naam ki aap baat kar rahin hai vo maine banaya hai" Vedant said his voice resonated in the hall of the mansion as everyone present there stared the drama unfolding in silence

"Vedant, language!!" His grandfather warned him
"Tell your wife to respect mihika!! I will respect those who respect my wife and if she can't do that better keep her mouth shut!" Vedant said his jaw clenched as anger surged through his body
"Vedant mind you she's your grandmother" Darsh said his anger boiling up
"aur mihika biwi hain meri!" Vedant said looking at him crossing his arms over his chest
(And mihika is my wife!!)
"Ritvik bhai stop all this everyone's staring" Ishani whispered to ritvik
"Sab Kahan hai meri biwi nahi dikh rahi" ritvik whispered back only to earn a glare from Ishani
"Aur haan mrs.surekha malhotra jahan tak meri biwi ke aashiq ki baat hai toh vo aapke samne khada hai btayie kya kehna hai" vedant said his chest heaving up and down
(And about her lover he is here in front of you say whatever you wish to)
"Vedant beta esa nahi hai main toh bas-" dadi replied but stopped when he showed her his hand
"I dare you disrespect my wife again and watch where it leads you" vedant said looking right through her wrinkly eyes
"Vedant mihika is alone go to her please" Amrita intervened placing a hand on his shoulder trying to calm him down
"Maa how could she talk about her like that" vedant said looking at his mother softly
"Shh.. please go to your room" Amrita said looking at him pleading
He sighed nodding closing his eyes to calm himself
"But I am not forgetting this ever she'll not come in this mansion ever again and i'll make sure of it" vedant said his tone promising before he marched upstairs
"I am telling you this girl will snatch your son away!!" Dadi said to darsh as she sat down on the couch
"You are too much maa" Garvit said shaking his head in disappointment
Vedant opened the door of their room only to find mihika up on the bed hugging the pillow to her chest and dancing while humming the lyrics
"Aankhiyan bichai maine tere liye" she said twirling on the bed he stared at her with wide eyes
"Duniya bhulai maine tere liye" she said throwing her hand in the air while she clutched the pillow close to her stomach
"Mihi get down jaan" he said as a low chuckle left his mouth
"Jaanatein sajai maine tere liyeeeeee"
She said gesturing towards him slightly tilting her face admiring her man
"Chhod di khudai maine tere liyeeeeeeeeeee ooooooooo" she sang jumping on the bed while she moved around the bed
"Biwi calm down" he said getting closer towards the end of the bed as she was about to fall from the edge
"Zara paas tu aa mereeee" she murmered wrapping her arms around his neck pulling him closer as she held him with his collar making his cheeks flush her hairs falling on his face he gulped before tucking her hair behind her ear
"Lyrics galat gaa rhi hain"he murmered before he got cut off by her singing
"Dheere se choo ja mujhe" she said before pecking his lips making him taste the alcohol she just had accidentally
"Nevermind" he said taking a deep breath calming his racing heart down
"What happened to you, love?" He asked removing the strands of her hair from her face as he made her sit down on the edge of the bed without removing her hold on his neck as he kneeled down to her level
"Love?..you..yes I do" she said her voice slurry making his heart skip a beat he gulped trying to process her words his heart drumming against his chest , his body felt a cold wave go through as goosebumps rose on his body
"Mihi are you by any chance drunk?" He asked his voice low as he looked at her rosy cheeks
"Alcohol is injurious..to health" she said finding difficulty in sitting before he grabbed her waist keeping her in place
"I know the guidelines baby, tell me did you by any chance had a drink?" He asked caressing her cheek as she tried to keep her eyes open
She blinked a few times as if contemplating whether to tell him or not
"Mihi" he asked his voice having an edge
"Yes I did but I didn't had alcohol" she said giving him a smile to which he shook his head and made her drink a glass of water
"Go change your clothes hmm? I'll be right back" he said before sliding her towards the closet to which she nodded obediently like a child
"Aa he jata hai jispe dil aana hota hai pyaar deewana hota hai mastana hota hai" she sang twirling he shook his head smiling before going towards the kitchen
"Bhai vo yeh lemonade-" krishiv said as he stood in the middle of the corridor
"Boht kripa hogyi aapki" vedant said giving him a glare
"Ruhi bhabhi ne galti se-"
"Go and sleep" Vedant said before turning his heels towards the room
"Kuch acha karo toh muh banate hai na karo toh muh banate hai meri he galti hai mai aaya" krishiv said under his breath before going towards his room
Vedant entered the room only to find mihika trying to fit into his t-shirt he sighed before he went to her placing the lemonade on the side table
"That's my t-shirt" he said pulling the t-shirt up and sliding her hand inside making her wear it properly his eyes gazing into hers not even moving an inch down from her face
"So what*hiccup* you are mine too" she said between her hiccups looking at him dreamily
"That's true" he said picking her up in his arms his hand under her knees and the other supporting her back while she wrapped her arms around his neck
He sat down with her on his lap his arm sliding around her waist holding her in place and making her drink the entire lemonade
" You love taking care of me don't you" she asked as her head lay close to his chest while he stroked her hair softly
"I do wifey" he said giving her a forehead kiss while she dozzed off snuggling into him
"I love you..ved" she muttered in her sleep making his heart race like crazy
As he closed his eyes exhaling a deep breath his lips curled up and his eyes glistened with unshed tears he has waited for this moment his entire life
"Aapki mohabbat paana boht khaas hai mere liye" he whispered keeping his chin on her head while planting a soft kiss
"Thank you for existing, love i promise when I confess it to you it will be Special just like you are to me" he said making her sleep comfortably beside him kissing her forehead

THE GREY EYED MAN
"Watch where you walk and we are sorry from her side" she apologized on behalf of her classmate who just spilled coffee all over my shirt
Humble yet protective I like that...
I watched her walk through the corridor of our classrooms her short hair flowing like silk, carrying a small panda printed bag from which she gave a chocolate to some boy of her age
I decided to head towards my maths class when I saw her with him.why?
I marched towards them only to stop when I heard him shut her off
"Listen mihika don't come up here how many times I have told you!I'll complain to your mom" he said his figure towering her petite one
"Offo you are such a mood spoiler either way I was here to inform that Krish is accompanying me to my home so he'll come late" she said munching on something as she turned her heels without listening to his reply and went on the opposite way of her class with a girl and that little boy
She was ethereal just like a sunset! Peaceful to look at, she had such cute glimmering eyes , chubby cheeks which were red due to the cold
"Mihika that's not where you class is-" he called her out but she didn't even turn look at him but I could hear her laugh
melodious , addictive, precious!
I took step towards him and stood before him my hands tucked in my pockets
"Who was she?" I asked casually leaning on the wall beside me as I adjusted the cufflinks of my shirt over my forearm
"None of your business" he said his jaw clenched
"I wanna talk to her" I said lossening my tie
"No.don't even look at her" he warned looking in my eyes directly
"Tch.vedant you're late" I said smirking before I entered the class room only to hear him cursing under his breath
....
I smiled thinking about the very first time I saw her she was in 9th standard I guess?
I remember how she made people laugh and smiled at every person she could even me at a time..how could she?
I hate when I did that too her I want to fix my mistake but she is married now to whom? I don't know that for now ahh that saransh doesn't speak up about the man
"Did you find him carlo?" I asked taking sip of my coffee as I sat down on the couch replacing her picture in my wallet with a different one
"Sir he's the CEO of Malhotra industries" he said forwarding a picture of him which was taken from the web
I examined the picture carefully he looks familiar..
"He's about to crack a deal with mr.bruno" carlo provided me with all the information he could find
"Hmm..keep an eye on him" I ordered as i stood up tucking my hands in my pocket and walked outside of the mansion the fresh smell of tulips filling my nostrils
She loves them I know , she hates roses after that day..
"It's time to meet amore mio bellissimo" i whispered looking at the tulips as my hairs fluttered when the wind touched my face making me close my eyes a soft smile curled up my lips

MIHIKA
I woke up as sun rays fall on my eyes making me shut them tighter I turned my face to snuggle into his arm so I could open my eyes when I felt his hand turning me to his side while he slept sideways so he could stop the sunlight falling over me
I smiled no I grinned holding on to him tighter which made him smile, my head was aching a little might be because of exhaustion
"Morning jaana" he whispered his voice deep as he just woke up
I hummed placing my head on his chest as he caressed my hair
"My head aches a little" i complained to him as he instantly massaged my head providing me relief
"It'll be better in a few minutes okay? And for your information you had alcohol" he said his voice soft and gentle but at last he laced it mischievously to which I gasped
"You're teasing me" i say pouting as i looked at him in disbelief
"You had two drinks by the way" he said biting his inner cheek to restrain himself from laughing
"That's why I don't remember how I ended up here" i muttered to myself
"And your partyyyyy" i exclaimed loudly as i got up looking at him in shock
"Leave it for later tell me why did you do this to me" he said a little seriously
"Me?what did I do?" I asked innocently looking at him as i pointed at myself gulping my heartbeat rising with each second
"Did I say something wrong to you? Was I too much to handle I am sorry I didn't had it intentionally and whatever I said I didn't mean that just know that okay I love-" i stopped when I realised what I was about to say
"But you did tell me that I am yours" he whispered as he sat up his arms supporting his posture as he leaned back to look at me
"No-i didn't-wait what?" I asked looking at him surprisingly
"You did tell me that biwi" he said his lips curling up in a teasing smirk
"You are very bad" i hit his chest lightly my cheeks heating up
"You still want me" he said wrapping an arm around my back as he made me lay beside him again
"That's true" I said chuckling to which he smiled softly
"I swear I didn't had it by my will" I said looking at him
"I know meri jaan and even if you want to have it, you have it it's your choice but you know alcohol is injurious to health" he said looking at me with oh so innocent smirk
"I promise I won't ever drink it I missed your party too" I said closing my eyes in frustration
"It's okay wifey you were with me all the time and you made me feel special" he said kissing my cheek softly
"Thanks for being my husband" i said clinging on to him to which he whispered something inaudible to me
...
I was waiting for his text he was supposed to pick me from Malhotra mansion while everyone was sheepishly silent today
"Did anything happen Ishani?" I asked in a hushed tone
"Yeh pucho kya nahi hua" Ishani said shaking her head
"Kya nahi hua?" Ruhi asked cradling ruhan in her arms
"Vedant bhai ne ghar ko aag nahi lagai aur Krishiv ne dadi ko kuch nahi bola" Ishani said
"Whatttttt" ruhi asked gasping that ruhan got startled and i calmed him down by patting his head softly
"Vo buaji ne chugli kardi thi fir dadi ka drama" Ishani said rolling her eyes dramatically
"And then Vedant bhai was being so protective about you that I didn't felt the need to intervene"krishiv said smiling widely as he placed four cups of chai in front of us as he sat beside me
"Why me always?" I ask leaning on krishiv's arm
"It's not your fault and bhai took a stand for you" krishiv said caressing my head comforting me like a brother
"He's so precious how would I manage if it wasn't him with me" i said sighing looking down
" Mai hun, tha, rahunga humesha!" vedant said appearing out of nowhere kneeling down on his knees in front of me holding my hand softly i looked at him with tear filled eyes but I somehow controlled and they all looked at us in awe evil eyes off him
"Now you will not come here again jaan" he whispered kissing my hand
"But everyone is here" I said in a low tone
"We'll come at your home to meet you na" ruhi and Ishani said excitedly
"Yeah ofcourse" vedant muttered shaking his head in a no playfully to which she laughed hitting him lightly
