the game against usc started off bad, but after half time the girls caught up but lost by 2. paige was pretty good to juju beside that nasty look. but she played good and the team played their hardest. after i clean up what i had to i waited out side the locker room door for paige
"hey" i say nudging her with my elbow. she doesn't say anything she just keeps walking "uhm.. you played good out there today" i say trying to catch up with her. she doesn't respond "what's wrong p.?" i say grabbing her arm turning her around "you" she says bluntly
"what?" i say with my voice cracking "juju was shit talking the whole game, and about how she 'had my girl'. i can't do this reign" she says looking through me like i meant nothing "bro what" i say lost and confused "i don't know rie, just something about you. i can't focus on the court and everything just.. i don't know" she says shaking her head "ok. ok paige. and i want you to know i meant what i said , fuck up again and i'm not letting you back in my life. your fucking mad about something i can't fucking control my nigga, YOU keep fucking up. not me. there's something wrong with YOU, if you can't focus in ur games. not me. but you got it paige. you got it" i say pushing past her and walking out the door heading back to my dorm
PAIGES POV
i watched as reign walked out the door. i wanted to stop her but i couldn't. i'm not good for her, and maybe jada keeping the fact i had eyes on her , from her was a good thing. i'm not a good person and i just can't seem to change myself. i love her i do but it was hard. hearing juju on the court today , it just made me come to a realization.
REIGNS POV
i was sitting in my dorm staring at the wall stuck in my thoughts forcing myself not to cry. then i get snapped out of my thoughts with a text from Azzi

i knew paige was gonna be there but i didn't really care. i was gonna have to be around her until the szn was over so why not?
i get ready and a few minutes later i hear a knock at my door, opening it up to see azzi, kk, morgan, and paige. i walk out making sure my door is locked behind me and we walk to the car "SHOTGUN" i yell trying to avoid sitting next to paige "broooo i was sitting in the front" kk says whining "ha snooze ha loose sweetie" i say running to the car
we hope in and drive to the party , as we pull up and get out and walk to the door we can hear the music , getting louder as we got closer , walking in a strong sent of alcohol and weed hit me, i went straight to the bar, making morgan come with me , she's watching me tonight. i grab a drink and chug it down getting another and chugging that one too
"slow down" morgan says laughing and taking my cup form me, "no no one more and i'll be good" i say getting another and drinking it too
though out the night i ended up running away from morgan she wouldn't let me have any fun, i was walking backwards to make sure she didn't find me because i thought i heard someone call my name , causing me to bump into someone "we gotta stop meeting like this" they say, i turn around seeing juju. i back up laughing looking down "what are you doing here" i say looking back up at her
"we leave the day after tomorrow so i thought why not go out" she says stepping closer to me
PAIGES POV
i walked around looking for everyone because i was ready to leave. i turn my head seeing juju and rie talking , them laughing and constantly touching each other like rie touching her arms or shoulders or something. it made me mad but i couldn't do anything about it. i mean i ended things with her , not even 3 hours ago. but fuck. that was my girl. mine.
i watch as i see juju lead rie away into the back hallway..
REIGNS POV
"so you and paige are really done?" juju asked as we walk into a more quiet area "yeah idk what it is... i don't know if it's the 5 year age gap that makes her so cocky or what. but i assumed messing with someone way older would mean their more mature yk? but i guessed wrong" i say shrugging "so why don't you come mess with someone .. of age?" juju asked tucking my hair behind my ear
i just look up at her and smile as she leans in for a kiss, i kiss back obviously i mean it's juju watkins who wouldn't? i had nothing to worry about me and paige were done. the kiss got heated. she tapped on my leg signaling for me to jump and i did, she caught me and carried me into a room laying me on the bed , her kissing down my neck.
before anything else happened the door opened i look over seeing paige storm in pushing juju off of me "let's go" she says grabbing me , i rip my hand out of her grip "who are you talking too?" i look at her "you. let's go rie" she says trying to grab me again but i dodge it "listen bro. y'all can leave and i'll have juju take me home" i say stepping back helping juju off the ground
"rie"
"paige stop calling me that shit and get out" i say turning around to where i'm standing in front of juju. paige just looks at both of us and walks out
"my god bro" i say sitting on the bed shaking my head "it's okay mama come here" she says sitting on the bed hugging me. i pull away and look at her and kiss her again, she pulls away "hey, we don't have to if you don't want to" she says putting her and on my thigh "no i want to" i say going back to kiss her, this time she kisses me back causing me to lay down
