i woke up with paige's arms around me, i didn't want to leave but i had homework to do back at my dorm, i didn't want to wake paige but i had no way of getting home, so i just sat on my phone for a while till she woke up. i look at my phone and see 16 missed calls from jada, and 35 missed texts. i was so confused i thought something bad happened to her, so i call her back
hello? jada
yeah?
are you okay? are you safe?
yes ma'am i am fine
as soon as i was about to answer, paige wakes up
"hey baby who are you talking to?" she says, before i could answer she takes my phone
"are u fr rn?" she says sitting up looking at me with a straight face
"what?" i say so confused
"even after last night your gonna call her?" she says getting up looking away from me, i get up and follow her and stop her from leaving and hang up on jada
"paige talk to me please, i'm not about to do this" i say on the verge of tears
"do what?" she laughs in my face "i should knew i couldn't trust u bruh" she says looking down at me shaking her head
"what? baby no it wasn't like that i promise" i say with tears coming down my face
"your crying isn't going to make me feel bad for you" she says in the most serious voice , she walks away from me
i just sat on the bed crying. i didn't kmow what to do, she just left? does she really think i would do that to her? whatever i'm gonna call jada to pick me up.
few minutes later jada calls me saying she's outside, i get up and grab my stuff and go out to her car, i get in and don't say anything
"what's wrong" jada says concerned
"nothing" i say looking out the window
"your lying to me rie, i can see you've been crying" she says looking at me while at a red light
"wait where are we going my dorm is over there" i say sounding lost
"idk somewhere to cheer you up" she says smiling at me "i'm sorry for last night i shouldn't have freaked out like that, and everything you said you were right" she says driving off
"yeah no it's fine" i say, i turn on music so we don't have to talk about it. we soon pull up to a place, AN ICE CREAM PLACE i was so excited i could tell jada could tell my looking at my face
"yes yes let's goooo" i say running out the car
we go in and order ice cream and i snap a picture and post it on my story
after we eat she drops my back off at my dorm, i go inside and walk into my room to see paige on my bed
"holy shit you scared tf out of me how tf did you even get in" i say looking at her crazy. she's just looking down at her phone for a while and then she shows me her phone , on it was my story. i look at her with a lost expression
"so after this morning you just .. go out with her?" she says looking at me
"paige what. you fucking left me and wouldn't talk to me. i needed a way to get home i didn't feel like walking" i say putting my bag down
"reign wtf is up" she says standing up towering over me
"i don't know what your talking about" i say so confused
"if you don't like me just say that?" she says looking away from me
"paige what gave you that idea." i say sternly, and quite annoyed she'd even say something like that
"first you call her while i'm sleeping, then you go get ice cream with her, so lmk wsp" she says sitting back down
"baby. i want you and only you i don't know what i have to do to prove that, and let me know please because i'll do anything. i called her bc she spammed me last night and i was worried she is still my friend. i've known her for years ma, i need you to understand that. i called her to take me home and she chose to take me to get ice cream i didn't ask for that?" i say explaining and trying to reassure her

"i don't know. i'm sorry i guess i over reacted but i just need to know you don't have feelings for her" she says explaining her self
"nooo baby, your the only one i want." i say walking towards her. she looks up at me and pulls me closer and just digs her head into my stomach. i put my hands into her hair and start massaging her scalp with my nails
"promise you won't ever leave me?" she says while her head is still in my stomach, i lift her head up and look at her
"i promise, i'm never leaving you. not going anywhere your the one i want to spend the rest of my life with" i say and i give her a kiss. her phone starts going off and i look over at it ... and see a notification from starr
" okay paige" i say pushing her off of me
"what?" she says confused
"your fucking phone bro" i say pointing to it
"fuck , no reign it's not like that" she says trying to explain her self
" no. i need you to leave. now" i say with tears in my eyes. she doesn't say anything she just looks at me for a minute and walks out
