Age: 10
Level: 2
Location: First Floor, Fenward Dungeon
The faint glow of the moss dimmed behind Valen as he pressed deeper into the dungeonâs winding passage. The walls closed in around him, slick with damp and flecked with some kind of glittering Mold. The silence was thick â too thick. Even the dripping water behind him had faded away.
He didnât mind.
His heartbeat had steadied. The rush from the silver wolfâs defeat hadnât left him. His muscles felt loose. Ready. Alive.
Dungeon Detected: Tier I â First Floor
Recommended Party Size: 3-5
Valen ignored the floating notification and kept moving.
Who needs five people to kill a wolf?
His boots made barely a sound. The instincts granted by his passive skills were sharpening with every step, and he moved like someone who had been fighting in these tunnels for years.
He rounded a corner.
New Threat Detected: Slimes x4 â Level 1
Four of them bounced and rolled into view next to the wall. Small, almost fully round blobs with a strange liquid inside , eyes non-existent. some clung to the walls and ceiling like spiders.
Valen didnât hesitate.
âQuickdraw.â
The blade flashed again, striking the nearest one clean through its center. The creature gave a shrill hiss and fell twitching to the floor. The others lunged.
He pivoted, ducking under a leaping strike, slashing upward mid-spin. Precision Slash landed true, opening another clean wound.
Two more circled â smarter than they looked. They tried to flank him, moving in tandem.
Valen smirked.
He wasnât the same boy from ten minutes ago.
He feinted left, then kicked off the wall and surged into the closer one. The blade slid through. Juices sprayed. Three mana stones dropped from the four
EXP Gained: +10
Skill: Momentum Slash Unlocked!
The last cave mite reared back and hissed.
Valen lunged and finished it.

He exhaled, chest rising and falling slowly. Not with effort â with control. His foot pressed against the last body, prying his sword loose. Blood oozed along the floor.
Too easy.
----------------------------------------
The tunnels twisted further. Small rooms opened here and there â old stone chambers cracked with time; some filled with bones or broken pottery. He passed others without entering. Nothing of value.
Then he saw them.
A pack of 3 Silver wolves âstanding in a formation for defense âThey tracked jim with their eyes, Teeth exposed and ready
Theyâre watching.
He stepped closer.
Their silver fur reflected the Bio luminescent Mold, then exploded outward like hornets.
Hostiles Engaged: Dungeon Wisps x3 â Level 4
They Bolted in with their teeth, growling Pouncing through the air. One skimmed his arm, cutting through and ripping part of his cloak the cloak and some flesh beneath. He gritted his teeth and dove behind a cracked pillar.
They got back into formation
Valen rolled out and threw himself at the nearest wolf at the front. His sword skimmed its fur âno blood.
Damn.
He adjusted.
Momentum Slash+Raged Cleave
His body surged forward, faster than before. The slash came from below â a rising arc that Split the wolves in half Their blood went everywhere when The impact connected. The wolves where no longer the problem.
He was low on Mana
e moved between them now, no longer slashing blindly, but reading their flight, waiting
He laughed.
Not softly. Not faked.
A real, sharp laugh.
âI can do this,â he muttered. âAlone.â
He collected the teeth and fur from the 3 animals and put them in his backpack along with he last wolfs items. The three mana stones Shined Pink, Blue and another Blue
âMan I really need a spatial bag this weight really adds upâ
âI just need to wait a bit to recover my Mana but that doesnât mean I canât watch themâ
As he studied thei movements of wolves, slimes, bats he noticed they acted like normal animals what he didnât know is why they couldnât leave unless a dungeon over filled with mana
----------------------------------------
He moved faster now.
Clearing chamber after chamber. A pair of bone hounds fell next â skeletal dogs with glowing eyes and sharp claws. Their speed was wild, but they couldnât get past his reflexes. He cut them down in a flurry of calculated strikes, unfortunately nothing worth collecting.
A goblin lumbered out of a hidden alcove â With a wooden bat a strange necklace and a bit of fungi growing on him.
It took longer because it looked like an oversized green baby, but it still fell. That necklace was now his and had a 3% AGI increase which wasnât worth wearing so he put it in his bag to be sold.
Valen's cloak was torn. Blood smeared his cheek. His arm still cut. But his level was rising fast.

He flexed his fingers. His sword felt like an extension of his arm now â light, responsive, dangerous.
The dungeon wasnât beating him. It was fueling him.
----------------------------------------
Then, he saw it.
The corridor widened into a great stairwell, worn and ancient. Two massive doors stood shut at the end, sealed with magic sigils faintly glowing red. The air here pulsed with something old. Heavy. Alive.
He knew what this was.
Boss Room Detected
Warning: Proceeding Alone Is Not Recommended.
He stood still for a long time.
Sweat tickled his spine. The air was colder. His injuries still ached.
But the thought of going back Of turning around after all this?
No.
He wasnât that scared boy anymore. He had already proven that.
The silver wolf. The bone hounds and the goblin
He earned his way through.
Valen stepped forward. The runes responded to his presence, glowing brighter, hotter.
His hand tightened on the sword hilt.
He pushed the doors open.
And the dungeon welcomed him.
