Miya's POV
The weight of the night pressed down on me as Zaire and I waited in his living room, the silence heavy between us. Every second felt like it was stretching longer than the last. I could feel my pulse in my throat, my nerves screaming at me to do something, anything, to ease the tension.
We werenât waiting for Amanda to make her move; we were waiting to take control. Zaire had made that clear, and Zoey and Ashley were already in motion. The storm that had been building was about to break, and there was no going back now.
I glanced over at Zaire, his face a mask of focus, but I could see the uncertainty behind his eyes. I wasnât the only one who knew how dangerous this was. He was trying to protect me, trying to protect all of us, but we both knew Amanda wouldnât go down without a fight.
âHow long until she shows up?â I asked, trying to keep my voice steady.
Zaire didnât immediately answer. He was scanning the room, his jaw tight, his mind already calculating the next steps. Finally, he spoke, his voice low and deliberate.
âSoon,â he said, the word hanging between us. âBut weâre ready. When she does, we strike first.â
His words were meant to reassure me, but all I could feel was the weight of the danger closing in. I wasnât scared of Amanda, but I was scared of what would happen if we didnât act now.

Zaireâs POV
I could feel Miyahâs nerves, her unease radiating off her. I wasnât blind. She was strong, but this was different. This wasnât some street brawl or a business deal gone wrong. This was about us. About protecting the woman I loved. And no one, not even Amanda, was going to take that from me.
I could sense her worry without her saying a word, and it made something inside me tighten. Amanda had gone too far, and it was time to end this once and for all. I had the power, the resources, and the will to make sure she knew who was in charge now.
I walked over to the window, watching the lights of the city below. âI wonât let her mess with you,â I said quietly, my voice firm. âNot again.â
Miyah joined me at the window, standing close enough that our arms brushed. Her presence was calm in the storm, even though I could feel the tension still simmering beneath the surface.
âWe can do this,â she said softly, her voice full of determination.
I turned to look at her, and for a brief moment, the world seemed to stop. She was everything to me. I wasnât going to let Amanda or anyone else tear this apart.
âYouâre right,â I said, pulling her into my arms. âAnd if Amanda thinks sheâs going to win, sheâs in for a rude awakening.â

Amandaâs POV
I could feel the heat of the moment rising. Zaire was on his way. I knew he would come because, deep down, he was mine. He had always been mine. And once he saw me again, he would remember who I was.
I checked the time again, pacing back and forth in the shadows, my body humming with anticipation. I could hear the city around me, the noise of the streets mixing with the chaos inside me. I wasnât just going to take Zaire backâI was going to destroy Miyah. I was going to remind Zaire of the power I held over him.
Tonight, everything changed.
My phone buzzed with a message from Jada. It was a single line, but it hit like a punch to the gut.
âItâs done.â
I smiled, the pieces of my plan finally falling into place.

Zoeyâs POV
The time had come. I could feel the shift in the air, a charge in the atmosphere. We werenât backing down. Amanda wasnât getting away with this anymore.
Ashley stood beside me, both of us watching the entrance to Zaireâs estate from the shadows. We had our eyes on every corner, every angle. There was no room for mistakes now.
âItâs time,â Ashley said, her voice steady, unshaken by the chaos around us. âWe make our move now.â
I nodded, signaling the team to move into position. Everything was in place, and if Amanda thought she could destroy us, she was about to learn a hard lesson.

Zaireâs POV
As the night dragged on, I could feel the weight of the moment. I wasnât just fighting for myself; I was fighting for Miyah, for our future. And there was no way I was going to let Amanda win.
The sound of tires on gravel caught my attention, and my instincts kicked in. They were here. The storm was coming, and we were ready.
âWe do this now,â I said, my voice steady as I turned to Miyah.
She nodded without hesitation. âIâm with you, Zaire.â
We moved together, our steps synchronized as we prepared to face whatever Amanda had planned.

Amandaâs POV
I stepped out of the shadows, my heart racing with excitement. The moment had come. Zaire was on his way, and when he saw me, he would remember everything. The passion, the love, the fire we had shared.
And when he did, Miyah would be nothing more than a fleeting memory.
I felt a cold breeze on my skin as I stood waiting, the city lights casting long shadows behind me. This was my moment. Nothing was going to stop me.

Zoeyâs POV
The first move had been made. Zaire and Miyah were ready, and we had done our part to prepare. It wasnât just about power. It was about sending a message. Amanda wasnât the queen of this world. Zaire was. We were. And it was time to make that clear.
