Leondre’s POV ‘It will be as soon as I find her,’ Without waiting for a second longer, I turn on my heel and walk away from there, I later drive to the new north moon pack, she might be with my sister, reaching the Alpha’s mansion, I ring the doorbell and the mother of the year opens the door.

‘Leon,’ My sister hugs me, careful not to harm the baby in her arms.

‘Come on in, you didn’t tell me you were coming,’ She says, taking me upstairs.

‘I was calling you but you didn’t answer so I came here,’

‘I must have left the phone in one of the rooms and I blocked off the mind link too,’ She informs me.

‘Ana left home,’ I tell her, she inhales and looks into my eyes.

‘Because of Melody?’

‘Yes, she spiked my drink and got in bed with me… Naked,’

‘Did you have sex?’ Just hearing her say that makes me angry.

‘No!’

‘Did you do anything intimate?’

‘No, I don’t think so,’

‘Ana is safe, she doesn’t want to see you now,’ I knew Arya knows where she is. I sigh in relief that she is safe.

‘Where is she?’ I demand.

‘Now, I can’t tell you that because she didn’t tell me,’ Knowing I can’t get anything out of her, I throw myself on the nearest chair and growl, making the baby in her arms cry.

‘Don’t do that, she gets scared. Don’t cry, my lovely Rose,’ My sister tries to soothe her. As I watch her do that, a smile makes its way to my lips, being a mother suits her well. A young man carrying two boys walks into two the room.

‘They are fusing and I’m losing my game,’ He says.

‘Oh Reece, you promised to help me today,’

‘The game finishes in thirty minutes and I’ll get them,’ The tall boy runs out of the room.

‘Leon, here,’ Arya gives me the one in her arms but she refuses to come to me.

‘Rose, you scared of uncle Leon?’ She laughs. The two boys on the carpet are looking at me curiously. I extend my arm to them and they crawl to my side, almost racing,’

‘I can’t believe you’re a mom,’ I tell Arya who smiles.

Spending some time with Arya’s boys is fulfilling for me. The door opens and Alpha Jacob enters the room, he is stunned to see me play with his sons but I extend my hand to greet him, and he shakes it.

‘King Leondre, it’s an honor to receive you in our home,’ He says, getting one of the twins from me and kissing my sister.

‘Thank you, your kids are a handful,’ Arya hits my shoulder for the comment ‘ And lovely,’ I add. Jacob laughs.

‘They are boys…. and one sweet girl,’

They insisted I stayed for a drink and I accept the invitation, afterward, my sister and I sit on the veranda couch to enjoy the night breeze while Jacob puts the children to sleep.

‘Mom told me Edward is coming to the city,’ She sighs. Edward is my cousin and an Alpha to the largest pack in the western territory.

‘Yes, they are having trouble with the rogue Lycans there,’

‘And is looking for his mate. Caliana ran away from the pack and guess what, she was pregnant,’

‘And he thinks she’s here?’

‘Yes, someone spotted her in this region,’ She informs me. ‘ Leon, we should help him find her,’ I shake my head, Edward wasn’t good to the poor woman, he even had a mistress a while married to her.

‘He has changed and regrets treating her like that,’ She defends him, Arya and Edward have always been closer since we were kids.

‘You do that, I’m not. The best thing for Caliana and her child is to stay happy and if she finds happiness away from Edward, he should learn to respect that,’ I’m resolute, the moon goddess blessed him with a mate and he screw it up.

‘And you?’ I hear my inner Lycan asks.

‘I didn’t screw up, that vixen tricked me and she will be punished for this,’

‘What are you going to do about Melody?’ Arya asks.

‘She’s been banished from the city for ten years and she’ll do community service for 3 months,’ I inform her of my plan.

‘Elder CC won’t take kindly to treating her granddaughter that way,’

‘I don’t care…. I’m evaluating our peace treaty and might cut them off completely,’ I inform her.

‘Leon, you can’t be serious,’

‘Actions have consequences, and I won’t take kindly to a woman who disrespected my mate, and me,’

I bid my sister’s new family goodbye and go to my car. Going back to my house and I realize, home isn’t home without Anaiah.

The next morning I was informed that Edward has landed in the city and I went to pick him up at the hangar but Arya and my mother beat me to it. He came with his two youngest brothers while Jamal stayed back to run the pack.

‘Leondre,’ We hug and exchange pleasantries before going back to the castle. I can tell Edward is worried. Sitting down to eat our lunch, we get into conversations and enjoy the family meal.

‘I know, I messed up, and drove my mate away,’ He says. Arya holds his hand comfortingly.

‘Where is she?’

‘I don’t know, but she’s in this region,’ He sighs. I nod.

For the next few days, Edward and his brothers tried searching in nearby packs for his Luna while I tried to woo mine back into my arms but it’s hard to do that when I don’t know her whereabouts and she doesn’t respond to my text messages except I’m alive.
