Anaiah’s POV ‘The guests have arrived,’

‘Hun, do you want to check out your room? It’s on our floor,’ I tell Ajax, he nods and allows an omega to take him inside. I’m standing in front of the entrance and watch as five SUVs come into view. They stop a few feet from us and huge men and women come out. The Alpha is the last to come and when he does, he approached me and bows, ‘Queen Anaiah, it’s an absolute honor, to be in your presence,’ Alpha Blanco says, kissing my hand gently. He introduces the woman next to him as Melody and she bows subtly at me. Her gaze moved up my body in disgust.

‘She’s the Queen, Leondre’s Luna?’ She attempts to walk past me but I block her path.

She knits her brows in confusion.

‘Have you no manners at all, I’m your Queen and you’re in my home, don’t go before me,’ I tell her firmly.

‘Forgive her rudeness Luna, she’s just tired from the long journey,’ her uncle says, I nod and guide them inside.

‘Your suites are on the second floor, at 6 pm well shall celebrate your arrival,’ I say and they nod. I hear Melody complain about being on the second floor but her uncle shushes her.

After a day working in my office, I go back to the castle to check how Ajax is settling in and he’s loving his room. They packed enough toys for him to play with as well.

‘How do you like your room?’

‘I love it, thank you,’

‘Madam, you should get ready for the dinner party,’ Angie informs me. After taking a long shower, I go to get ready.

‘Luna!’ I hear Angie call from the room, ‘Closet!’ I call.

Angie enters my room with a rack of elegant dresses, they were all of different colors and designs, ‘What is all this?’ I ask, standing up to inspect the dresses. Angie smiles at me ‘Well, Arya sent them all for you as she is unable to help you prepare as she promised,’

‘What happened to her?’ I ask, deeply concerned. She did promise to be by my side tonight.

‘She went to check on the kids but will be here before the night ends,’

I beam in excitement when I notice the dress I picked out earlier is here.

‘I want that one,’ I realize it’s a bit daring to wear but it would suit me and I want to be the most beautiful, that would show that stupid arrogate girl Melody who’s who around here.

‘Perfect choice,’ she smiles as she leads me to sit on the vanity to do my hair.

‘I want it down,’ I tell her, and minutes later it is done. My hair is cascading down in perfect wavy curls. The makeup with done to perfection with a smokey eye.

‘And lipstick?’

‘Red, the darkest there is,’

After I’m done getting ready, I look in the mirror and I’m speechless. I look stunning indeed.

‘The celebration has started,’

I descend downstairs and go to the huge dining room, the hall is decorated in white and gold, there was live music playing and a large crowd is chatting and drinking. The room goes silent when someone announces my arrival and they all bow to me in respect. Alpha Blanco’s gaze lingered on me more than it should and I clear my throat, approaching him.

‘My Queen’ he smiles at us, kissing my cheek politely. ‘ You look beautiful indeed,’

‘Thank you, Alpha Blanco,’

My eyes roamed around the crowd and rested upon Melody, she was wearing a burgundy dress that didn’t fit her body well and she was pouting clearly, she doesn’t like her outfit and Isn’t too confident. Alpha Blanco and I continued to discuss the signing of the treaty when we are rudely interrupted.

‘Uncle, those servants lost my bags!’ She shouts. Her uncle grips her arm with a tight smile. ‘ Melody, won’t you pay respects to the Luna first?’ Melody only snorted and doesn’t spare me a glance. Rude!

‘Hi, you have poor services, Luna,’ she says.

‘My staff is very competent and if they misplaced your bags surely you weren’t a priority or they mistook you for Alpha Blanco’s assistant,’ I say and then smile at her. ‘ We’ll try to find them and send them to your room,’ Melody is pissed but says nothing else. She shrieks and walks away.

‘Please, forgive my niece, she can be insensible,’ he says. I nod and interact with everyone else.

‘Hello, everyone!’ Dan has just walked in with his mate and they look exquisite. We exchange pleasantries.

‘I thought you were staying until after the challenge,’

‘No, I’m here to witness the treaty and as Beta, my signature is needed,’ he informs me.

The servers announced that dinner is ready and we all sat down to eat with me at the head of the table. There was chatter and everyone was getting along wonderfully, however, Blanco is staring at me and it made me uneasy.

After dinner, we proceeded to sign the treaty with witnesses.

‘It is done!’ The high court official announces.

Cheers erupt and music plays, everyone dances and celebrates the renewal of the treaty.

Alpha Blanco asked for a dance and we did, he was a little drunk so I didn’t entertain him further.
