Chapter 654 She Still Wants to Try Again
Neera smiled, called the waiter, and ordered food. While eating, she always cared for Wilfrid and served him his favorite dishes.
Wilfrid felt relaxed and gradually became happier.
Seeing that, Neera chatted with him. âHow have you been during these years when I was away?â
Wilfrid was docile in front of her. âIâm good. I go to school in the county seat. Although the school isnât as good as the one in the city, itâs the best there.â
Neera asked again, âWhere do you live then? Are you still in the previous place?â
Wilfrid felt a little hard to say, âYour aunt gave us money as your upbringing expenses. My parents bought a house in the county seat.â
After speaking, he felt a little uncomfortable.
Neera did not mind about it. âThatâs good. No matter what, the environment in the county seat is better than in the countryside.â
Then, she asked curiously, âHow are your grades now?â
This question was much easier to answer. Wilfrid mu ffled, âFirst in grade.â
Neera grinned, rubbed his head, and praised, âAwesome! My brother is so great!â
Wilfrid was so happy to get praised. His cheeks were slightly red, and he said modestly, âIâm still far behind you. Iâll continue to work hard.â
Neera poured him a glass of juice, paused, and asked, âDo you want to transfer to another school?â
Wilfrid immediately stated solemnly, âI donât want to. My grades are good, and the school is fine. You donât have to listen to my parentsâ nonsense. They donât know anything.â
Neera nodded. âThe schools in the city are indeed better. I do have a way to get you to transfer. But I think you should carefully consider it. Youâre now at the most critical time. If you transfer to another school rashly, you may not be able to adapt to the teaching model here and the progress of the course.
Every place is different. You wonât be able to keep up with it when the time comes. It may affect your existing grades, Wilfrid nodded heavily. âI think so.â
Neera smiled. âIt seems that youâve grown up and can think for yourself! Now that weâve reached a consensus. Even if you donât transfer to school, you can attend Kingsview University with good grades.
Have you decided which major to take?â
Wilfridâs eyes lit up. He quickly answered, âI want to study medicine!â
Neera was stunned for a moment, then she smiled. âWhy do you want to learn this?â
When Wilfrid talked about the future, he was full of longing. âBecause I thought it was great to cure diseases and save lives. Especially seeing your honors, my thoughts became more determined! I want to be a qualified doctor and be a useful person to society. Just like you!â
In his heart, Neera was his idol, goal, and motivation for moving forward!
Neera was proud of his choice. âWell, since you have your goals, go all out. I fully support you. You can ask me if you donât understand anything!â
âOkay.â
They had a great meal and talked a lot. But Wilfrid had been afraid to ask Neera how those years were going.
He knew she was not doing well. She might have too much sadness and pain hidden behind her splendid appearance. But there was one thing he wanted to confirm.
âSis, I saw from the internet that you have three kids. Is that true?â
Neera nodded gently. âItâs true.â
After speaking, she took out her phone and showed him the photo of the triplets.
Wilfridâs eyes lit up. âTheyâre so cute! Whatâs their name?â
Neera introduced patiently, âThe one with the serious face is the eldest, Harvey; the one with the smiling face is the second, Sammy; and the one in the middle is the youngest, Penny.â
âHarvey, Sammy, Pennyâ¦â
Wilfrid touched their faces across the screen and liked them very much. âTheyâre beautiful! They look like you! They must be smart too!â
Neera exuded the brilliance of motherhood while talking about the triplets.
âYes, theyâre clever. Iâll take you to meet them next time. Theyâll probably like you very much.â
Wilfrid nodded and reluctantly returned the phone.
After lunch, Neera sent Wilfrid to the station. They left each otherâs contact information and made an appointment to see each other next time.

Neera was in a good mood when she went back. After arriving at the company, she sent a message to Jean to
share the incident.
Meanwhile, the Marks Residence. Kyra was hungover and did not wake up until this time. She sat up with a splitting headache. After a while, she remembered what she had talked to Thora at the bar last night.
Although she still did not know if she could completely trust Thora, Kyra decided to take a gamble.
Thinking of that, she got out of bed, washed up, got ready, and was about to go out.
When Dandy saw that, she could not help but stop Kyra. âYou just got up. Where are you going?â
< F S & O
Kyra responded to Dandy while putting on her shoes, âGo to Beauvort Manor to see Aunt Wrenn.â
Dandy became gloomy as soon as she heard about the Beauvort family. âJean has treated you like that. What else are you going to do?â
Dandy looked unhappy and complained, âI thought it would work to rely on Wrenn, but I didnât expect her to be so useless! Itâs been a long time, but you havenât been able to marry Jean! Why are you going there again?â
Kyra frowned when Dandy mentioned it. âEven so, I still want to try again.â
Seeing Kyra still did not give up, Dandy sighed helplessly. âWhat else do you want to do? Is there any other way?â
Kyra slung the bag over her shoulder and sneered. âJean canât live without Neera, probably because he has to rely on her medical skills. If someone can replace Neera, the Beauvort family will drive Neera away!â
